第34篇

1 （大衛在亞比米勒面前改變了尋常的舉動［changed his behaviour］，被他趕出離開［departed］，就作這詩。）我要時時稱頌耶和華；讚美他的話必常在我口中。

2 我的心必因耶和華誇耀；謙卑人聽見就要喜樂。

3 你們和我同［together］尊［magnify］耶和華為大吧［O］，我們要［let us］一同高舉他的名。

4 我曾尋求耶和華，他就聽允［heard］我，救我脫離了一切的恐懼。

5 凡仰望他的，便有光榮；他們的臉必不蒙羞。

6 我這困苦人呼求，耶和華便垂聽，救我脫離一切患難。

7 耶和華的天使［angel］在敬畏他的人四圍安營，搭救他們。

8 你們來嘗，便見耶和華是美善了［O taste and see that the LORD is good］；投靠他的人有福了。

9 耶和華的聖民哪，你們當敬畏他，因敬畏他的一無所缺。

10 少壯獅子還缺食忍餓，但尋求耶和華的甚麼好處都不缺。

11 眾兒女［children］啊，你們當來聽我的話。我要將敬畏耶和華的道教訓你們。

12 有何人喜好存活，愛慕長壽，得享美福，

13 就要禁止舌頭不出惡言，嘴唇不說詭詐的話。

14 要離惡行善，尋求和睦，一心追趕。

15 耶和華的眼目看顧義人；他的耳朵聽他們的呼求。

16 耶和華向行惡的人變臉，要從世上除滅他們的名號。

17 義人呼求，耶和華聽見了，便救他們脫離一切患難。

18 耶和華靠近傷心的人，拯救靈性痛悔的人。

19 義人多有苦難，但耶和華救他脫離這一切，

20 又保全他一身的骨頭，連一根也不折斷。

21 惡必害死惡人；恨惡義人的，必遭冷落［shall be desolate］。

22 耶和華救贖他僕人的元魂［soul］；凡投靠他的，必不致孤獨［desolate］。

Psalm 34

1 I WILL bless the LORD at all times; his praises shall continually be in my mouth.

2 My soul shall make its boast in the LORD; let the humble hear and be glad.

3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.

4 I sought the LORD, and he heard and delivered me from all my troubles.

5 Look towards him and trust in him, and you shall not be disappointed.

6 This poor man called on him, and he heard him and saved him from all his troubles.

7 The host of angels of the LORD encamps round about them that worship him, and delivers them.

8 O taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man that trusts in him.

9 The rich have become poor and suffer hunger;

10 They that seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.

11 Come, you children, listen to me, and I will teach you reverence for the LORD.

12 Where is the man who desires not life and many days that he may see the good time to come?

13 Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking guile.

14 Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open to hear them.

16 The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

17 The righteous cried, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.

18 The LORD is near to them that are brokenhearted, and he saves those who are humble in spirit.

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous; but the LORD delivers him out of them all.

20 He keeps all his bones, not one of them is broken.

21 Evil shall slay the wicked, and they that hate the righteous shall be destroyed.

22 The LORD redeems the soul of his servants, and none of them that trust in him shall be condemned.

10 少壯獅子還缺食忍餓，但尋求耶和華的甚麼好處都不缺。	10 They that seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.
11 眾兒女［children］啊，你們當來聽我的話。我要將敬畏耶和華的道教訓你們。	11 Come, you children, listen to me, and I will teach you reverence for the LORD.
