第57篇

1 （大衛逃避掃羅，藏在洞裏。那時，他作這金詩，交與伶長。用休要毀壞調。）神啊，求你憐憫我，憐憫我。因為我的心投靠你。我要投靠在你翅膀的蔭下，等到災害過去。

2 我要呼求［cry］至高的神，就是為我成全諸事的神。

3 那要吞我的人辱罵我的時候，神從天上必施恩救我，也必向我發出慈愛和誠實。

4 我的性命在獅子中間；我躺臥在性如烈火的世人當中。他們的牙齒是槍、箭；他們的舌頭是利［sharp］刀。

5 神啊，願你崇高過於諸天。願你的榮耀高過全地。

6 他們為我的腳設下網羅，壓制我的心；他們在我面前挖了坑，自己反掉在其中。細拉。

7 神啊，我心堅定，我心堅定；我要唱詩，我要歌頌。

8 我的榮耀［glory］啊，你當醒起。琴瑟啊，你們當醒起。我自己要極早醒起。

9 主啊，我要在眾民［people］中稱讚［praise］你；我要［I will］在列邦中歌頌你。

10 因為，你的慈愛高及諸天；你的誠實達於高雲［unto the clouds］。

11 神啊，願你崇高過於諸天。願你的榮耀高過全地。

Psalm 57

1 BE merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me; for my soul trusts in thee; yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge until these calamities be overpast.

2 I will cry to God most High, to God my Saviour.

3 For he has sent from heaven and delivered me; he has put mine enemies to shame. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth.

4 He has delivered my life from the vicious as I slept in fear, and from the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongues sharp swords.

5 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth.

6 They have prepared a net for my feet; they have digged a pit for my soul, into the midst of which they themselves have fallen.

7 My heart is made ready, O God, my heart is ready; I will sing and give praise in my glory.

8 Awake, my harp; awake, psaltery and harp; I myself will awake early.

9 I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people; I will sing unto thy name among the nations.

10 For thy mercy is exalted to the sky and thy faithfulness to the heavens.

11 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth.
