第138篇

1 （大衛的詩。）我要一心讚美［praise］你，在諸神面前歌頌你。

2 我要向你的聖殿敬拜［worship］，為你的慈愛和誠實稱讚你的名；因你使你的話顯為大，超乎你一切的名聲［above all thy name］。

3 我呼求的日子，你就應允我，堅固［strengthenedst］我，使我心裏有能力。

4 耶和華啊，地上的君王都要稱讚［praise］你，因他們聽見了你口中的言語。

5 他們要歌頌耶和華的作為，因耶和華大有榮耀。

6 耶和華雖高，仍看顧低微的人；他卻從遠處看出驕傲的人。

7 我雖行在患難中，你必將我救活；我的仇敵發怒，你必伸手抵擋他們；你的右手也必救我。

8 耶和華必成全關乎我的事；耶和華啊，你的慈愛永遠長存。求你不要離棄你手所造的。

Psalm 138

1 I WILL praise thee with my whole heart; before the kings will I sing praise to thee.

2 I will worship in thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth; for thou hast magnified thy word above every name.

3 In the day when I cried to thee, thou didst answer me, and didst increase the strength of my soul.

4 All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, for they have heard the words of thy mouth.

5 Yea, they shall praise the ways of the LORD; for great is the glory of the LORD.

6 Though the LORD be high, yet can he see those who have been brought low; but the proud he knows from afar.

7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt save me; thou shalt stretch forth thy hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.

8 O LORD, rest thy right hand upon me; thy mercy, O LORD, endures for ever; forsake not the works of thine own hands.
