1 以色列族當曰、余自肇基以來、屢遭困苦兮、

2 猶憶創國之始、雖境遇厄窮、亦未嘗爲敵所勝兮、

3 人加扑責、譬諸犂鋤、傷我之脊、厥痕甚長兮、

4 耶和華惟秉大公、惡人之犂索、已斷之兮、

5 凡爲郇山之敵者、每蒙媿恥而敗北兮、

6 如屋巔之草、未拔而槁兮、

7 無人刈之而盈掬、無人束之而滿懷兮、

8 雖刈之束之、行路之人、亦不相慶、不曰望耶和華錫以純嘏、介爾景福兮。

1 MY oppressors have been many from my youth, may Israel now say;

2 My oppressors have been many from my youth, yet they have not prevailed against me.

3 They have scourged me upon my back; they have made long their oppression.

4 The LORD is righteous; he will cut asunder the cord of the wicked.

5 Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.

6 Let them be as the grass upon the house tops, which pulls out and withers when the wind strikes it,

7 Wherewith the reaper fills not his hand, nor he who binds sheaves his bosom.

8 Neither do they who pass by say, The blessing of the LORD be upon you; we bless you in the name of the LORD.

詩篇第129篇	Psalms Psalm 129
1 以色列族當曰、余自肇基以來、屢遭困苦兮、	1 MY oppressors have been many from my youth, may Israel now say;
