1 以色列族當曰、余自肇基以來、屢遭困苦兮、

2 猶憶創國之始、雖境遇厄窮、亦未嘗爲敵所勝兮、

3 人加扑責、譬諸犂鋤、傷我之脊、厥痕甚長兮、

4 耶和華惟秉大公、惡人之犂索、已斷之兮、

5 凡爲郇山之敵者、每蒙媿恥而敗北兮、

6 如屋巔之草、未拔而槁兮、

7 無人刈之而盈掬、無人束之而滿懷兮、

8 雖刈之束之、行路之人、亦不相慶、不曰望耶和華錫以純嘏、介爾景福兮。
