第26章

1 勿作偶像、勿立偶像、勿勒像於石而崇拜之、是我耶和華爾之上帝所禁。

2 當守我安息日、敬我聖室、我耶和華所命如是。

3 倘遵我禮儀、守我禁令、

4 我必降時雨、使地產物、樹結果、

5 爾禾方擊之期、葡萄可摘矣、葡萄摘猶未盡、播種又將及矣、俾爾果腹安居。

6 我賜境內平康、驅逐暴獸、毋許興戎、爾可安寢、無人使爾危懼。

7 爾將追敵、以刃殲之、

8 爾中之人、五可驅百、百可驅萬、敵必殲於爾刃。

9 我將眷顧爾曹、與爾立約、使爾繁衍昌熾。

10 爾食舊穀、新穀旣盈、舊穀可移。

11 我將立室於爾中、心不憾爾。

12 周遊爾間、吾爲爾之上帝、爾爲我民。

13 我耶和華爾之上帝、導爾出埃及、脫爾於賤役、毀爾所負之軛、使爾徑行直遂。

14 若不聽從、弗遵此命、

15 蔑我禮儀、侮我法度、干我誡命、違我盟約、

16 我將使爾觳觫、身癆、體瘧、以致心憂目盲、播種徒勞、爲敵所食。

17 我必拒爾、使死於敵前、憾爾者將虐爾、無人追襲、爾亦遁逃。

18 若仍弗聽從、將治爾罪、重於七倍。

19 爾恃強驕肆、我必毀爾、使爾天地堅若銅鐵、

20 爾徒力作、田無所產、樹不結實。

21 爾尚梗頑、不克從順、則按罪降災、必至七倍、

22 使暴獸入爾境、攘爾子、食爾牲、致戶口凋殘、逵衢寂寞。

23 爾猶不順受譴責、所行逆我、

24 我必降罰、督責爾罪、至於七倍、

25 爲爾背約、故以鋒刃擊爾、洩我忿怒。爾若集於邑垣、我必使疫癘流行、付爾於敵。

26 旣滅爾食、十婦炊餅於一爐、較量其數、爾雖得食、不能果腹。

27 汝猶不聽從我言、所行逆我、

28 我必震怒、降罰於爾、督責爾罪、至於七倍。

29 使爾殘食子女、

30 爾造日象、築崇邱、我必毀之、棄爾尸骸、以及偶像、共相枕藉、我中心憾爾、

31 毀爾邑垣、使聖所寂寞、不享爾馨香。

32 爾國荒涼、如是之甚、使敵居斯土、無不駭異。

33 我必散爾於異邦、襲爾以白刃、荒寂爾居、掃除爾邑。

34 爾旣轉徙於敵國、則斯土荒寂、其壤可享安息。

35 汝居斯土、遇安息日期、壤無憩息、故荒寂時、可獲憩息。

36 爾曹猶有孑遺、處於敵國、必使爾心畏葸、風吹葉落、偶聞其聲、則懼而遁、若避鋒刃、卽無追者、亦必隕沒。

37 自相蹂躪、如擊以刃、拒敵無能。

38 爾必危亡於異邦、并吞於敵國、

39 爾曹猶有孑遺、處於敵國、爲一己之愆尤、并前人之罪戾、日漸消亡。

40 如其能任己愆、及前人之罪、自知差失、所行逆我、

41 受我譴責、驅至敵國、在彼服罪、緣其不潔之心、卑以自牧、

42 則我必追憶曩時與亞伯拉罕以撒雅各所立之約、而俯念斯土。

43 以色列民蔑我法度、憾我禮儀、使其故土遠離、田疇荒寂、於斯時也、土地得享安息、待民服罪。

44 彼驅於敵國、我不屏斥之、厭棄之、殲滅之、不廢我約、蓋我耶和華尚爲其上帝。

45 昔我耶和華導以色列祖出於埃及、爲其上帝、越在異邦、無不目擊、故我必念其盟約。

46 以上之禮儀典章律法、乃耶和華於西乃山諭摩西、使告以色列族遵行者。

Chapter 26

1 You shall make6213 you no3808 idols457 nor graven6459 image,6754 neither3808 raise6965 you up a standing4676 image,4676 neither3808 shall you set5414 up any image4906 of stone68 in your land,776 to bow7812 down7812 to it: for I am the LORD3068 your God.430

2 You shall keep8104 my sabbaths,7676 and reverence3372 my sanctuary:4720 I am the LORD.3068

3 If518 you walk3212 in my statutes,2708 and keep8104 my commandments,4687 and do6213 them;

4 Then I will give5414 you rain1653 in due season,6256 and the land776 shall yield5414 her increase,2981 and the trees6086 of the field7704 shall yield5414 their fruit.6529

5 And your threshing1786 shall reach5381 to the vintage,1210 and the vintage1210 shall reach5381 to the sowing2233 time: and you shall eat398 your bread3899 to the full,7648 and dwell3427 in your land776 safely.983

6 And I will give5414 peace7965 in the land,776 and you shall lie7901 down, and none369 shall make you afraid:2729 and I will rid7673 evil7451 beasts2416 out of the land,776 neither3808 shall the sword2719 go5674 through your land.776

7 And you shall chase7291 your enemies,341 and they shall fall5307 before6440 you by the sword.2719

14 But if518 you will not listen8085 to me, and will not do6213 all3605 these428 commandments;4687

15 And if518 you shall despise3988 my statutes,2708 or if your soul5315 abhor1602 my judgments,4941 so that you will not do6213 all3605 my commandments,4687 but that you break6565 my covenant:1285

16 I also637 will do6213 this2063 to you; I will even appoint6485 over you terror,928 consumption,7829 and the burning6920 ague,6920 that shall consume3615 the eyes,5869 and cause sorrow1727 of heart:5315 and you shall sow2232 your seed2233 in vain,7385 for your enemies341 shall eat398 it.

17 And I will set5414 my face6440 against you, and you shall be slain5062 before6440 your enemies:341 they that hate8130 you shall reign7287 over you; and you shall flee5127 when none369 pursues7291 you.

18 And if518 you will not yet5704 for all this428 listen8085 to me, then I will punish3256 you seven7651 times more3254 for your sins.2403

19 And I will break7665 the pride1347 of your power;5797 and I will make5414 your heaven8064 as iron,1270 and your earth776 as brass:5154

20 And your strength3581 shall be spent8552 in vain:7385 for your land776 shall not yield5414 her increase,2981 neither3808 shall the trees6086 of the land776 yield5414 their fruits.6529

21 And if518 you walk3212 contrary7147 to me, and will14 not listen8085 to me; I will bring3254 seven7651 times more3254 plagues4347 on you according to your sins.2403

22 I will also send7971 wild7704 beasts2416 among you, which shall rob7921 you of your children, and destroy3772 your cattle,929 and make you few4591 in number; and your high ways1870 shall be desolate.8074

23 And if518 you will not be reformed3256 by me by these428 things, but will walk1980 contrary7147 to me;

24 Then will I also637 walk1980 contrary7147 to you, and will punish5221 you yet seven7651 times for your sins.2403

25 And I will bring935 a sword2719 on you, that shall avenge5358 the quarrel5359 of my covenant:1285 and when you are gathered622 together within413 your cities,5892 I will send7971 the pestilence1698 among8432 you; and you shall be delivered5414 into the hand3027 of the enemy.341

26 And when I have broken7665 the staff4294 of your bread,3899 ten6235 women802 shall bake644 your bread3899 in one259 oven,8574 and they shall deliver7725 you your bread3899 again7725 by weight:4948 and you shall eat,398 and not be satisfied.7646

27 And if518 you will not for all this2063 listen8085 to me, but walk1980 contrary7147 to me;

28 Then I will walk1980 contrary7147 to you also in fury;2534 and I, even637 I, will chastise3256 you seven7651 times for your sins.2403

29 And you shall eat398 the flesh1320 of your sons,1121 and the flesh1320 of your daughters1323 shall you eat.398

30 And I will destroy8045 your high1116 places, and cut3772 down your images,2553 and cast5414 your carcasses6297 on the carcasses6297 of your idols,1544 and my soul5315 shall abhor1602 you.

31 And I will make5414 your cities5892 waste,2723 and bring8074 your sanctuaries4720 to desolation,8074 and I will not smell7306 the smell7381 of your sweet5207 odors.5207

32 And I will bring8074 the land776 into desolation:8074 and your enemies341 which dwell3427 therein shall be astonished8074 at5921 it.

43 The land776 also637 shall be left5800 of them, and shall enjoy7521 her sabbaths,7676 while she lies desolate8074 without them: and they shall accept7521 of the punishment5771 of their iniquity:5771 because,3282 even because3282 they despised3988 my judgments,4941 and because their soul5315 abhorred1602 my statutes.2708

44 And yet637 for all1571 that, when they be in the land776 of their enemies,341 I will not cast3988 them away, neither3808 will I abhor1602 them, to destroy3615 them utterly,3615 and to break6565 my covenant1285 with them: for I am the LORD3068 their God.430

45 But I will for their sakes remember2142 the covenant1285 of their ancestors,7223 whom834 853 I brought3318 forth3318 out of the land776 of Egypt4714 in the sight5869 of the heathen,1471 that I might be their God:430 I am the LORD.3068

46 These428 are the statutes2708 and judgments4941 and laws,8451 which834 the LORD3068 made5414 between996 him and the children1121 of Israel3478 in mount2022 Sinai5514 by the hand3027 of Moses.4872
