詩篇

第36篇

1 （耶和華的僕人大衛的詩，交與伶長。）惡人的罪過在我［my］心裏說，他［his］眼中不怕神。

2 他在眼中奉承自己［For he flattereth himself in his own eyes］，直等［until］他的罪孽顯為可恨［found to be hateful］。

3 他口中的言語盡是罪孽詭詐；他與智慧善行已經斷絕。

4 他在床上圖謀惡計［mischief］；他［he］定意行不善的道；他［he］不憎惡惡事。

5 耶和華啊，你的慈愛上及諸天；你的信實達於高雲［unto the clouds］。

6 你的公義好像高山；你的判斷如同深淵。耶和華啊，人民、牲畜，你都救護。

7 神啊，你的慈愛何其美好［excellent］。世人投靠在你翅膀的蔭下。

8 他們必因你殿裏的肥甘得以飽足；你也必叫他們喝你福樂之河［river of thy pleasures］的水。

9 因為，在你那裏有生命的源頭；在你的光中，我們必得見光。

10 願你常施慈愛給認識你的人，常以公義待心裏正直的人啊［O］。

11 不容驕傲人的腳踐踏我；不容凶惡人的手除掉［remove］我。

12 在那裏，作孽的人已經仆倒；他們被推倒，不能再起來。

Psalm 36

1 THE unjust conceives wickedness within his heart, for there is no fear of God before his eyes.

2 He is unwilling to see his sins forgiven, or to hate them.

3 The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit; he is unwilling to do good.

4 He devises mischief upon his bed; he walks in a way that is not good that he may do evil.

5 O LORD, thy mercy is in heaven; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the universe.

6 Thy righteouness is like the mountain of God; thy judgments are like a great deep; O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.

7 How abundant is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men take refuge under the shadow of thy wings.

8 They shall flourish with the richness of thy house; and thou shalt give them to drink of the pleasant water of thy spring.

9 For with thee is the fountain of life; in thy light shall we see light.

10 O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee, and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.

11 Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.

12 For there the workers of iniquity will fall; they will be cast down, and will not be able to rise.
