第73篇

1 （亞薩的詩。）神實在恩待以色列那些心中潔淨［clean heart］的人。

2 至於我，我的腳幾乎失閃；我的腳險些滑跌。

3 因［For］我曾［was］見惡人和愚妄人［foolish］享亨通［prosperity］就心懷不平。

4 他們死的時候沒有疼痛；他們的力氣卻也壯實。

5 他們不像別人受苦，也不像別人遭災。

6 所以，驕傲如鏈子繞著他們［compasseth them］；強暴像衣服遮住他們的身體。

7 他們的眼睛因體胖而凸出；他們所得的，過於心裏所想的。

8 他們都是敗壞的［are corrupt］，憑惡意說欺壓人的話；他們說話自高。

9 他們的口褻瀆諸天［heavens］，他們的舌行遍［walketh through］全地。

10 所以他［his］的民歸到這裏；他們［them］喝盡了滿杯的苦水。

11 他們說：「神怎能曉得？至高者豈有知識呢？」

12 看哪，這就是不敬虔的人［ungodly］，是在世亨通的［who prosper in the world］；他們的［they］財寶加增。

13 我實在徒然潔淨了我的心，徒然洗手表明無辜。

14 因為，我終日遭災難；每早晨受懲治。

15 我若說：「我要這樣講」；看哪［behold］，我就得罪你兒女的世代［I should offend against the generation of thy children］。

16 當［when］我思索怎能明白這事，在我［for me］實係為難，

17 等我進了神的聖所，我便明白［then understood I］他們的結局。

18 你實在把他們安在滑地，使他們倒下滅亡［castedst them down into destruction］。

19 他們轉眼之間成了何等的荒涼。他們被驚恐滅盡了。

20 人睡醒了，怎樣看夢；主啊，你醒了也必照樣輕看他們的影像。

21 因而，我心裏發酸，肺腑被刺。

22 我這樣愚昧無知，在你面前如禽獸［beast］一般。

23 然而，我常與你同在；你扶［holden］著我的右手。

24 你要以你的訓言引導我，以後必接我到榮耀裏。

25 除你以外，在天上我有誰呢？除你以外，在地上我也沒有所愛慕的。

26 我的肉體和我的心腸衰殘；但神是我心裏的力量，又是我的福分，直到永遠。

27 看哪［lo］，遠離你的，必要死亡；凡離棄你行邪淫的，你都滅絕了。

28 但我親近神是與我有益；我以主耶和華為我所倚靠的［my trust］，好叫我述說你一切的作為。

Psalm 73

1 TRULY God is good to Israel, and to those who are pure in heart.

2 But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.

3 For I was envious of the wicked when I saw the prosperity of the ungodly.

4 For there is no end to their death, and their folly is great.

5 They share not in the toil of men; neither are they scourged like other men.

6 Therefore pride holds them fast; they have concealed their wickedness and ungodliness.

7 Their iniquity comes through like grease; they do according to the evil dictates of the heart.

8 They imagine and speak evil things: they talk unjustly against the most High.

9 They have set their mouths in the sky, but their tongues drag in the dirt;

10 Therefore will my people return hither, and they shall have everything in abundance.

11 They shall say, How does God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?

12 Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they are strong in power.

13 As for me, I have cleansed my heart, and washed my hands in innocence.

14 All the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning.

15 If I say, I shall do as they do, this is sinful for me.

16 When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me.

17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.

18 Thou didst appoint their portion according to their deceitfulness; thou didst cast them down when they exalted themselves.

19 How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! They are utterly consumed with terrors.

20 As one who awakes from a dream, so, O LORD, thou shalt despise their idolatry.

21 Thus my heart was grieved, and my conscience troubled me.

22 So foolish was I, and ignorant; I was as a beast before thee.

23 Thou shalt comfort me with thy counsel, and lead me according to thy honour.

24 Whom have I in heaven but thee? and whom have I desired upon earth besides thee?

25 Nevertheless I am continually with thee; thou hast held me by my right hand.

26 My flesh and my heart fail; but God is the strength of my heart and my portion for ever.

27 For lo, they that are far from thee shall perish; thou hast destroyed all them that go astray from thee.

28 I was pleased to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the LORD God, that I mar declare all thy works.

12 看哪，這就是不敬虔的人［ungodly］，是在世亨通的［who prosper in the world］；他們的［they］財寶加增。	12 Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they are strong in power.

26 我的肉體和我的心腸衰殘；但神是我心裏的力量，又是我的福分，直到永遠。	26 My flesh and my heart fail; but God is the strength of my heart and my portion for ever.
