1 （亞薩的詩歌，交與伶長。用絲弦的樂器。）在猶大，神為人所認識；在以色列，他的名為大。

2 在撒冷有他的帳幕；在錫安有他的居所。

3 他在那裏折斷弓上的箭［arrows］，並盾牌、刀劍，和戰具［battle］。細拉。

4 你比［than］獵物［prey］之山更顯［more］光華和榮美。

5 心中勇敢的人都被搶奪；他們睡了長覺，沒有一個英雄能措手。

6 雅各的神啊，你的斥責一發，連車帶馬［both the chariot and horse］都沉睡了。

7 唯獨你是可畏的。你怒氣一發，誰能在你眼［sight］前站得住呢？

8 你從天上使人聽判斷，那時地就懼怕而靜默；

9 就是當神起來施行審判，要救地上一切謙卑的人的時候。細拉。

10 人的忿怒要稱讚你［praise thee］；人的餘怒，你要禁止。

11 你們許願，當向耶和華─你們的神還願；在他四面的人都當拿貢物獻給那可畏的主。

12 他要剪除［cut off］王子的靈氣［the spirit］；他向地上的君王顯威可畏。
