何西阿書

第14章

1 以色列啊，你要歸向耶和華─你的神；你是因自己的罪孽跌倒了。

2 當歸向耶和華，用言語禱告他說：求你除淨罪孽，開恩收納我們［receive us graciously］；這樣，我們就把嘴唇的祭代替牛犢獻上。

3 亞述必不能救我們［shall not save us］；我們不再騎馬［we will not ride upon horses］。我們［we］也不再對我們手所造的說：你們是我們的眾神。因為無父的［fatherless］在你─耶和華那裏得蒙憐憫。

4 我必醫治他們背道的病，甘心愛他們；因為我的怒氣已向他轉消［turned away from him］。

5 我必向以色列如甘露；他必如百合花生長［grow］，如黎巴嫩的樹木扎根。

6 他的枝子［branches］必延長；他的榮華如橄欖樹，他的香氣如黎巴嫩的香柏樹。

7 住在［dwell］他蔭下的必歸回；他們必［they shall］發旺如五穀，生長［grow］如葡萄樹。其中的［thereof］香氣必［shall be］如黎巴嫩的酒。

8 以法蓮必說：我與偶像還有甚麼關涉呢？我─耶和華聽見［heard］他，也注看［observed］他；我如青翠的松樹。你的果子從我而得。

9 誰是智慧人，可以明白這些事？誰是通達人，可以知道這一切？因為，耶和華的道是正確［right］的，義人必在其中行走；罪人卻在其上跌倒。

1 O Israel,3478 return7725 to the LORD3068 your God;430 for you have fallen3782 by your iniquity.5771

2 Take3947 with you words,1697 and turn7725 to the LORD:3068 say559 to him, Take5375 away all3605 iniquity,5771 and receive3947 us graciously:2896 so will we render7999 the calves6499 of our lips.8193

3 Asshur804 shall not save3467 us; we will not ride7392 on horses:5483 neither3808 will we say559 any more5750 to the work4639 of our hands,3027 You are our gods:430 for in you the fatherless3490 finds mercy.7355

4 I will heal7495 their backsliding,4878 I will love157 them freely:5071 for my anger639 is turned7725 away from him.

5 I will be as the dew2919 to Israel:3478 he shall grow6524 as the lily,7799 and cast5221 forth5221 his roots8328 as Lebanon.3844

6 His branches3127 shall spread,3212 and his beauty1935 shall be as the olive2132 tree, and his smell7381 as Lebanon.3844

7 They that dwell3427 under his shadow6738 shall return;7725 they shall revive2421 as the corn,1715 and grow6524 as the vine:1612 the scent2143 thereof shall be as the wine8492 of Lebanon.3844

8 Ephraim669 shall say, What4100 have I to do any more5750 with idols?6091 I have heard6030 him, and observed7789 him: I am like a green7488 fir1265 tree. From me is your fruit6529 found.4672

9 Who4310 is wise,2450 and he shall understand995 these428 things? prudent,995 and he shall know3045 them? for the ways1870 of the LORD3068 are right,3477 and the just6662 shall walk3212 in them: but the transgressors6586 shall fall3782 therein.
