Kapitel 16
1 Then1161 came2658 he to Derbe1191 and Lystra:3082 and, behold,2400 a certain5100 disciple3101 was there,1563 named3686 Timotheus,5095 the son5207 of a certain5100 woman,1135 which was a Jewess,2453 and believed;4103 but his father3962 was a Greek:1672
1 Er kam2658 aber1161 gen1519 Derbe1191 und2532 Lystra3082; und2532 siehe2400, ein5100 Jünger3101 war2258 daselbst1563 mit Namen3686 Timotheus5095, eines5100 jüdischen2453 Weibes1135 Sohn, die war gläubig4103, aber1161 eines griechischen1672 Vaters3962.
2 Which3739 was well3140 reported3140 of by the brothers80 that were at1722 Lystra3082 and Iconium.2430
2 Der3739 hatte ein gut Gerücht3140 bei den Brüdern80 unter5259 den Lystranern3082 und2532 zu1722 Ikonien2430
3 Him would2309 Paul3972 have to go1831 forth1831 with him; and took2983 and circumcised4059 him because1223 of the Jews2453 which3588 were in those1565 quarters:5117 for they knew1492 all537 that his father3962 was a Greek.1672
3 Diesen5126 wollte2309 Paulus3972 lassen mit4862 sich848 ziehen und2532 nahm2983 und beschnitt4059 ihn846 um1223 der1565 Juden2453 willen, die3588 an1722 demselbigen Ort5117 waren5607; denn1063 sie846 wußten1492 alle537, daß3754 sein5225 Vater3962 war1831 ein Grieche1672 gewesen.
4 And as they went1279 through1279 the cities,4172 they delivered3860 them the decrees1378 for to keep,5442 that were ordained2919 of the apostles652 and elders4245 which3588 were at1722 Jerusalem.2419
4 Als5613 sie846 aber1161 durch1279 die Städte4172 zogen, überantworteten sie ihnen, zu1722 halten5442 den3588 Spruch1378, welcher von5259 den Aposteln652 und2532 den Ältesten4245 zu Jerusalem2419 beschlossen2919 war3860.
5 And so3767 were the churches1577 established4732 in the faith,4102 and increased4052 in number706 daily.2596 2250
5 Da3767 wurden4732 die Gemeinden1577 im2596 Glauben4102 befestiget und2532 nahmen zu4052 an der Zahl706 täglich.
6 Now1161 when they had gone1330 throughout1330 Phrygia5435 and the region5561 of Galatia,1054 and were forbidden2967 of the Holy40 Ghost4151 to preach2980 the word3056 in Asia,773
6 Da1330 sie aber1161 durch Phrygien5435 und2532 das Land5561 Galatien1054 zogen, ward ihnen gewehret von5259 dem Heiligen40 Geist4151, zu reden2980 das Wort3056 in1722 Asien773.
7 After they were come2064 to Mysia,3465 they assayed3985 to go4198 into2596 Bithynia:978 but the Spirit4151 suffered1439 them not.
7 Als sie3985 aber4198 kamen2064 an Mysien3465, versuchten sie, durch2596 Bithynien978 zu2596 reisen; und2532 der Geist4151 ließ1439 es ihnen nicht3756 zu.
8 And they passing3928 by Mysia3465 came2597 down2597 to Troas.5174
8 Da sie aber1161 an Mysien3465 vorüberzogen, kamen sie hinab2597 gen1519 Troas5174.
9 And a vision3705 appeared3700 to Paul3972 in the night;3571 There stood2476 a man435 of Macedonia,3110 and prayed3870 him, saying,3004 Come1224 over1224 into1519 Macedonia,3109 and help997 us.
9 Und2532 Paulus3972 erschien3700 ein Gesicht3705 bei der Nacht3571; das war2258 ein Mann435 aus1223 Mazedonien3110, der stund und bat3870 ihn2476 und sprach3004: Komm hernieder nach1519 Mazedonien3109 und hilf997 uns2254!
10 And after5613 he had seen1492 the vision,3705 immediately2112 we endeavored2212 to go1831 into1519 Macedonia,3109 assuredly4822 gathering4822 that the Lord2962 had called4341 us for to preach2097 the gospel2097 to them.
10 Als er846 aber1161 das3754 Gesicht3705 gesehen1492 hatte, da trachteten2212 wir alsobald2112 zu reisen1831 nach1519 Mazedonien3109, gewiß4822, daß5613 uns2248 der HErr2962 dahin berufen hätte4341, ihnen das Evangelium zu predigen2097.
11 Therefore3767 loosing321 from Troas,5174 we came2113 with a straight2113 course2113 to Samothracia,4543 and the next1966 day to Neapolis;3496
11 Da3767 fuhren wir2113 aus321 von575 Troas5174, und5037 stracks Laufs kamen wir gen1519 Samothrazien4543, des andern1966 Tages gen1519 Neapolis3496
12 And from there1564 to Philippi,5375 which3748 is the chief4413 city4172 of that part3310 of Macedonia,3109 and a colony:2862 and we were in that city4172 abiding1304 certain5100 days.2250
12 und5037 von1564 dannen gen Philippi5375, welches ist2076 die3748 Hauptstadt4413 des1722 Landes3310 Mazedonien3109 und eine Freistadt2862. Wir hatten2258 aber1161 in1519 dieser5026 Stadt4172 unser Wesen1304 etliche5100 Tage2250.
13 And on the sabbath4521 we went1831 out of the city4172 by a river4215 side,3844 where3757 prayer4335 was wont3543 to be made;1511 and we sat2523 down,2523 and spoke2980 to the women1135 which resorted4905 thither.
13 Am Tage2250 des Sabbats gingen wir1511 hinaus1831 vor1854 die Stadt4172 an3844 das Wasser4215, da3757 man pflegte3543 zu beten4335, und5037 setzten uns2523 und2532 redeten2980 zu den Weibern1135, die da zusammenkamen4905.
14 And a certain5100 woman1135 named3686 Lydia,3070 a seller4211 of purple,4211 of the city4172 of Thyatira,2363 which worshipped4576 God,2316 heard191 us: whose3739 heart2588 the Lord2962 opened,1272 that she attended4337 to the things which were spoken2980 of Paul.3972
14 Und2532 ein5100 gottesfürchtig2316 Weib1135 mit Namen3686 Lydia3070, eine Purpurkrämerin4211 aus der5259 Stadt4172 der Thyatirer, hörete zu191; welcher3739 tat der HErr2962 das Herz2588 auf1272, daß sie4576 darauf achthatte4337, was von Paulus3972 geredet ward2980.
15 And when5613 she was baptized,907 and her household,3624 she sought3870 us, saying,3004 If1487 you have judged2919 me to be faithful4103 to the Lord,2962 come1525 into1519 my house,3624 and abide3306 there. And she constrained3849 us.
15 Als sie3870 aber1161 und2532 ihr846 Haus3624 getauft907 ward, ermahnete sie uns2248 und2532 sprach3004: So1487 ihr mich3165 achtet2919, daß5613 ich gläubig4103 bin1511 an den HErrn2962, so kommet in1519 mein3450 Haus3624 und bleibet3306 allda. Und sie zwang uns.
16 And it came1096 to pass, as we went4198 to prayer,4335 a certain5100 damsel3814 possessed2192 with a spirit4151 of divination4436 met528 us, which3748 brought3930 her masters2962 much4183 gain2039 by soothsaying:3132
16 Es geschah1096 aber1161, da wir5100 zu1519 dem Gebet4335 gingen4198, daß eine Magd3814 uns2257 begegnete528, die3748 hatte2192 einen Wahrsagergeist4151 und trug3930 ihren Herren2962 viel4183 Genieß zu mit Wahrsagen3132.
17 The same3778 followed2628 Paul3972 and us, and cried,2896 saying,3004 These3778 men444 are the servants1401 of the most5310 high5310 God,2316 which3748 show2605 to us the way3598 of salvation.4991
17 Dieselbige folgte2628 allenthalben Paulus3972 und2532 uns2254 nach, schrie2896 und sprach3004: Diese3778 Menschen sind1526 Knechte1401 Gottes2316, des Allerhöchsten5310, die3748 euch2254 den444 Weg3598 der3778 Seligkeit4991 verkündigen2605!
18 And this5124 did4160 she many4183 days.2250 But Paul,3972 being grieved,1278 turned1994 and said2036 to the spirit,4151 I command3853 you in the name3686 of Jesus2424 Christ5547 to come1831 out of her. And he came1831 out the same846 hour.5610
18 Solches tat4160 sie manchen4183 Tag2250. Paulus3972 aber1161 tat das5124 weh, und1161 wandte1994 sich um und2532 sprach2036 zu1909 dem Geist4151: Ich gebiete3853 dir4671 in1722 dem Namen3686 JEsu2424 Christi5547, daß du von575 ihr846 ausfahrest1831! Und2532 er846 fuhr aus1831 zu derselbigen Stunde5610.
19 And when her masters2962 saw1492 that the hope1680 of their gains2039 was gone,1831 they caught1949 Paul3972 and Silas,4609 and drew1670 them into1519 the marketplace58 to the rulers,758
19 Da aber1161 ihre Herren2962 sahen1492, daß3754 die Hoffnung1680 ihres Genießes war1831 ausgefahren, nahmen sie846 Paulus3972 und2532 Silas4609, zogen1670 sie1949 auf1519 den Markt58 vor1909 die Obersten758
20 And brought4317 them to the magistrates,4755 saying,2036 These3778 men,444 being5225 Jews,2453 do exceedingly1613 trouble1613 our city,4172
20 und2532 führeten sie846 zu den444 Hauptleuten4755 und sprachen2036: Diese3778 Menschen machen1613 unsere2257 Stadt4172 irre und sind5225 Juden2453
21 And teach2605 customs,1485 which3739 are not lawful1832 for us to receive,3858 neither3761 to observe,4160 being5607 Romans.4514
21 und2532 verkündigen2605 eine Weise1485, welche3739 uns2254 nicht3756 ziemet anzunehmen3858 noch3761 zu tun4160, weil wir Römer4514 sind5607.
22 And the multitude3793 rose4911 up together4911 against2596 them: and the magistrates4755 rent4048 off4048 their clothes,2440 and commanded2753 to beat4463 them.
22 Und2532 das Volk3793 ward erregt4911 wider2596 sie846. Und2532 die Hauptleute4755 ließen4048 ihnen die Kleider2440 abreißen und hießen2753 sie846 stäupen4463.
23 And when they had laid2007 many4183 stripes4127 on them, they cast906 them into1519 prison,5438 charging3853 the jailor1200 to keep5083 them safely:806
23 Und5037 da sie2007 sie846 wohl4183 gestäupet hatten, warfen906 sie sie ins1519 Gefängnis5438 und geboten3853 dem Kerkermeister1200, daß er846 sie wohl806 bewahrete.
24 Who,3739 having received2983 such5108 a charge,3852 thrust906 them into1519 the inner2082 prison,5438 and made805 their feet4228 fast805 in the stocks.3586
24 Der nahm2983 solch5108 Gebot3852 an und2532 warf906 sie846 in1519 das3739 innerste2082 Gefängnis5438 und legte805 ihre846 Füße4228 in den Stock3586.
25 And at2596 midnight3317 Paul3972 and Silas4609 prayed,4336 and sang5214 praises to God:2316 and the prisoners1198 heard1874 them.
25 Um2596 die Mitternacht3317 aber1161 beteten4336 Paulus3972 und2532 Silas4609 und1161 lobeten GOtt2316. Und es höreten sie846 die Gefangenen1198.
26 And suddenly869 there was a great3173 earthquake,4578 so5620 that the foundations2310 of the prison1201 were shaken:4531 and immediately3916 all3956 the doors2374 were opened,455 and every3956 one's bands1199 were loosed.447
26 Schnell869 aber1161 ward3916 ein großes3173 Erdbeben4578, also daß5620 sich bewegeten die Grundfesten2310 des Gefängnisses1201. Und5037 von Stund‘ an wurden1096 alle3956 Türen2374 aufgetan455 und aller3956 Bande1199 los447.
27 And the keeper1200 of the prison1200 awaking1096 1853 out of his sleep,1853 and seeing1492 the prison5438 doors2374 open,455 he drew4685 out his sword,3162 and would3195 have killed337 himself,1438 supposing3543 that the prisoners1198 had been fled.1628
27 Als aber1161 der Kerkermeister1200 aus dem Schlafe1853 fuhr und2532 sah die Türen2374 des Gefängnisses5438 aufgetan455, zog4685 er das1492 Schwert3162 aus und wollte3195 sich1096 selbst1438 erwürgen337; denn er meinete, die Gefangenen1198 wären entflohen1628.
28 But Paul3972 cried5455 with a loud3173 voice,5456 saying,3004 Do4238 yourself4572 no3367 harm:2556 for we are all537 here.1759
28 Paulus3972 aber1161 rief5455 laut3173 und sprach3004: Tue4238 dir4572 nichts3367 Übles2556; denn1063 wir sind2070 alle537 hier1759.
29 Then1161 he called154 for a light,5457 and sprang1530 in, and came1096 trembling,1096 and fell4363 down before4363 Paul3972 and Silas,4609
29 Er forderte154 aber1161 ein Licht5457 und2532 sprang hinein1530 und2532 ward1096 zitternd1790 und fiel4363 Paulus3972 und Silas4609 zu den Füßen
30 And brought4254 them out, and said,5346 Sirs,2962 what5101 must1163 I do4160 to be saved?4982
30 und2532 führete sie846 heraus1854 und sprach5346: Liebe Herren2962, was5101 soll1163 ich tun4160, daß3165 ich selig4982 werde?
31 And they said,2036 Believe4100 on1909 the Lord2962 Jesus2424 Christ,5547 and you shall be saved,4982 and your house.3624
31 Sie sprachen2036:. Glaube4100 an1909 den HErrn2962 JEsum2424 Christum5547, so2532 wirst du4771 und1161 dein4675 Haus3624 selig4982.
32 And they spoke2980 to him the word3056 of the Lord,2962 and to all3956 that were in his house.3614
32 Und2532 sie846 sagten2980 ihm das3956 Wort3056 des846 HErrn2962 und2532 allen, die in1722 seinem Hause3614 waren.
33 And he took3880 them the same1565 hour5610 of the night,3571 and washed3068 their stripes;4127 and was baptized,907 he and all3956 his, straightway.3916
33 Und2532 er nahm3880 sie zu sich in1722 derselbigen Stunde5610 der1565 Nacht3571 und wusch3068 ihnen die Striemen ab; und er ließ sich taufen907 und alle3956 die Seinen alsobald3916.
34 And when he had brought321 them into1519 his house,3624 he set3908 meat5132 before3908 them, and rejoiced,21 believing4100 in God2316 with all3832 his house.3832
34 Und5037 führete sie321 in1519 sein846 Haus und2532 setzte ihnen3908 einen Tisch5132 und freuete sich848 mit seinem ganzen Hause3624, daß er846 an GOtt2316 gläubig4100 worden war.
35 And when it was day,2250 the magistrates4755 sent649 the sergeants,4465 saying,3004 Let630 those1565 men444 go.630
35 Und1161 da es Tag2250 ward1096, sandten649 die1565 Hauptleute4755 Stadtdiener4465 und sprachen3004: Laß630 die Menschen444 gehen630!

36 Und1161 der Kerkermeister1200 verkündigte518 diese5128 Rede3056 Paulus: Die Hauptleute4755 haben hergesandt, daß4314 ihr los630 sein sollt. Nun3568 ziehet aus1831 und3767 gehet4198 hin649 mit1722 Frieden1515.
37 But Paul3972 said5346 to them, They have beaten1194 us openly1219 uncondemned,178 being5225 Romans,4514 and have cast906 us into1519 prison;5438 and now3568 do they thrust1544 us out privately?2977 no3756 truly;1063 but let them come2064 themselves846 and fetch1806 us out.
37 Paulus3972 aber1161 sprach5346 zu4314 ihnen846: Sie846 haben uns2248 ohne Recht und2532 Urteil178 öffentlich1219 gestäupet, die wir doch Römer sind5225, und1063 in1519 das Gefängnis5438 geworfen906 und sollten1544 uns2248 nun3568 heimlich2977 ausstoßen? Nicht3756 also, sondern235 lasset sie1194 selbst kommen2064 und uns2248 hinausführen1806.
38 And the sergeants4465 told312 these5023 words4487 to the magistrates:4755 and they feared,5399 when they heard191 that they were Romans.4514
38 Die191 Stadtdiener4465 verkündigten312 diese5023 Worte4487 den Hauptleuten4755; und1161 sie fürchteten sich5399, da2532 sie höreten, daß3754 sie Römer4514 wären1526,
39 And they came2064 and sought3870 them, and brought1806 them out, and desired2065 them to depart1831 out of the city.4172
39 und2532 kamen2064 und2532 ermahneten sie846 und führeten sie heraus1831 und baten3870 sie, daß sie auszögen aus1806 der Stadt4172.
40 And they went1831 out of the prison,5438 and entered1525 into1519 the house of Lydia:3070 and when they had seen1492 the brothers,80 they comforted3870 them, and departed.1831
