1 申初祈禱時、彼得約翰升殿、

2 有生而跛者、日爲人所舁、置殿之美門、欲求入殿者施濟、

3 見彼得約翰將入殿、則求濟、

4 彼得約翰注目視之曰、觀我、

5 卽觀之、冀有所得、

6 彼得曰、金銀我無有、惟我所有者予爾、卽以拿撒勒耶穌基督名、使爾起而行、

7 遂執其右手起之、其足踝卽健勁、

8 且踊且立且行、隨二人入殿、踊躍讚美上帝、

9 衆見其行、讚美上帝、

10 皆識其素坐殿之美門求濟者、甚駭而奇其事、

11 跛者旣愈、執彼得約翰手、衆大奇、趨就之、集所羅門之廊、〇

12 彼得見衆、語之曰、以色列人、奚以此爲奇、何注視我耶、豈以我之才能、我之虔敬、使此人行乎、

13 夫亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各之上帝、固我祖之上帝、榮其子耶穌、而爾曹解之、彼拉多擬釋之、而爾曹於其前棄之、

14 是爾棄聖義之人、反求釋兇人、

15 是爾殺生命之主、卽上帝復起之者、我儕爲證、

16 耶穌以我信其名、故使爾所見所識之人、其行立健、亦以我信耶穌、故痊此人於爾衆前、

17 兄弟乎、今我知爾所行、出於不知耳、爾之有司亦猶是、

18 惟上帝以諸先知之口、預言基督必受害、是以應焉、〇

19 汝宜悔改反正、俾罪得抹、則主賜爾安舒之日至、

20 主將遣所預言之耶穌基督、

21 彼當在天、待萬物振興時、如上帝托古聖先知所言是也、

22 昔摩西語我列祖云、主、爾之上帝、將於爾兄弟中、挺生先知若我、其所語爾者、必聽之、

23 不聽、則絕之於民中、

24 自撒母耳以來、諸先知預言、亦指此日、

25 汝爲先知弟子、承上帝所賜祖宗之約、謂亞伯拉罕曰、天下兆民、將藉爾裔而受福、

26 是以上帝挺生其子耶穌先遣祝爾、俾爾衆革去其惡焉、

Chapter 3

1 Now1161 Peter4074 and John2491 went305 up together1909 into1519 the temple2411 at1909 the hour5610 of prayer,4335 being the ninth1766 hour.5610

2 And a certain5100 man435 lame5560 from his mother's3384 womb2836 was carried,941 whom3739 they laid5087 daily2596 2250 at4314 the gate2374 of the temple2411 which3588 is called3004 Beautiful,5611 to ask154 alms1654 of them that entered1531 into1519 the temple;2411

3 Who3739 seeing1492 Peter4074 and John2491 about3195 to go1524 into1519 the temple2411 asked2065 an alms.1654

4 And Peter,4074 fastening816 his eyes on him with John,2491 said,2036 Look991 on1519 us.

5 And he gave1907 heed1907 to them, expecting4328 to receive2983 something5100 of them.

6 Then1161 Peter4074 said,2036 Silver694 and gold5553 have5225 I none;3756 but such as I have2192 give1325 I you: In the name3686 of Jesus2424 Christ5547 of Nazareth3478 rise1453 up and walk.4043

7 And he took4084 him by the right1188 hand,5495 and lifted1453 him up: and immediately3916 his feet939 and ankle4974 bones4974 received4732 strength.4732

8 And he leaping1814 up stood,2476 and walked,4043 and entered1525 with them into1519 the temple,2411 walking,4043 and leaping,242 and praising134 God.2316

9 And all3956 the people2992 saw1492 him walking4043 and praising134 God:2316

10 And they knew1921 that it was he which3588 sat2521 for alms1654 at1909 the Beautiful5611 gate4439 of the temple:2411 and they were filled4130 with wonder2285 and amazement1611 at1909 that which had happened4819 to him.

11 And as the lame5560 man which was healed2390 held2902 Peter4074 and John,2491 all3956 the people2992 ran4936 together4936 to them in the porch4745 that is called2564 Solomon's,4672 greatly1569 wondering.1569

12 And when Peter4074 saw1492 it, he answered611 to the people,2992 You men435 of Israel,2475 why5101 marvel2296 you at1909 this?5129 or2228 why5101 look816 you so earnestly816 on1909 us, as though by our own2398 power1411 or2228 holiness2150 we had made4160 this846 man to walk?4043

13 The God2316 of Abraham,11 and of Isaac,2464 and of Jacob,2384 the God2316 of our fathers,3962 has glorified1392 his Son3816 Jesus;2424 whom3739 you delivered3860 up, and denied720 him in the presence4383 of Pilate,4091 when he was determined2919 to let630 him go.630

14 But you denied720 the Holy40 One and the Just,1342 and desired154 a murderer5406 to be granted5483 to you;

15 And killed615 the Prince747 of life,2222 whom3739 God2316 has raised1453 from the dead;3498 whereof3739 we are witnesses.3144

16 And his name3686 through1909 faith4102 in his name3686 has made4732 this5026 man strong,4732 whom3739 you see2334 and know:1492 yes,2532 the faith4102 which is by him has given1325 him this5126 perfect3647 soundness3647 in the presence561 of you all.3956

17 And now,3568 brothers,80 I know1492 that through2596 ignorance52 you did4238 it, as did also2532 your5216 rulers.758

18 But those things, which3739 God2316 before4293 had showed4293 by the mouth4750 of all3956 his prophets,4396 that Christ5547 should suffer,3958 he has so3779 fulfilled.4137

19 Repent3340 you therefore,3767 and be converted,1994 that your5216 sins266 may be blotted1813 out, when3704 the times2540 of refreshing403 shall come2064 from the presence4383 of the Lord.2962

20 And he shall send649 Jesus2424 Christ,5547 which before4296 was preached4296 to you:

21 Whom3739 the heaven3772 must1163 receive1209 until891 the times5550 of restitution605 of all3956 things, which3739 God2316 has spoken2980 by the mouth4750 of all3956 his holy40 prophets4396 since575 the world165 began.

22 For Moses3475 truly3303 said2036 to the fathers,3962 A prophet4396 shall the Lord2962 your5216 God2316 raise450 up to you of your5216 brothers,80 like3945 to me; him shall you hear191 in all3956 things whatever3748 302 he shall say2980 to you.

23 And it shall come1511 to pass, that every3956 soul,5590 which3748 302 will not hear191 that prophet,4396 shall be destroyed1842 from among the people.2992

24 Yes,1161 and all3956 the prophets4396 from Samuel4545 and those3588 that follow2517 after,2517 as many3745 as have spoken,2980 have likewise2532 foretold4293 of these5025 days.2250

25 You are the children5207 of the prophets,4396 and of the covenant1242 which3739 God2316 made1303 with our fathers,3962 saying3004 to Abraham,11 And in your seed4690 shall all3956 the kindreds3965 of the earth1093 be blessed.1757

26 To you first4412 God,2316 having raised450 up his Son3816 Jesus,2424 sent649 him to bless2127 you, in turning654 away654 every1538 one of you from his iniquities.4189

11 跛者旣愈、執彼得約翰手、衆大奇、趨就之、集所羅門之廊、〇

11 And as the lame5560 man which was healed2390 held2902 Peter4074 and John,2491 all3956 the people2992 ran4936 together4936 to them in the porch4745 that is called2564 Solomon's,4672 greatly1569 wondering.1569

12 彼得見衆、語之曰、以色列人、奚以此爲奇、何注視我耶、豈以我之才能、我之虔敬、使此人行乎、

12 And when Peter4074 saw1492 it, he answered611 to the people,2992 You men435 of Israel,2475 why5101 marvel2296 you at1909 this?5129 or2228 why5101 look816 you so earnestly816 on1909 us, as though by our own2398 power1411 or2228 holiness2150 we had made4160 this846 man to walk?4043

13 夫亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各之上帝、固我祖之上帝、榮其子耶穌、而爾曹解之、彼拉多擬釋之、而爾曹於其前棄之、

13 The God2316 of Abraham,11 and of Isaac,2464 and of Jacob,2384 the God2316 of our fathers,3962 has glorified1392 his Son3816 Jesus;2424 whom3739 you delivered3860 up, and denied720 him in the presence4383 of Pilate,4091 when he was determined2919 to let630 him go.630

14 是爾棄聖義之人、反求釋兇人、

14 But you denied720 the Holy40 One and the Just,1342 and desired154 a murderer5406 to be granted5483 to you;

16 And his name3686 through1909 faith4102 in his name3686 has made4732 this5026 man strong,4732 whom3739 you see2334 and know:1492 yes,2532 the faith4102 which is by him has given1325 him this5126 perfect3647 soundness3647 in the presence561 of you all.3956

17 兄弟乎、今我知爾所行、出於不知耳、爾之有司亦猶是、

17 And now,3568 brothers,80 I know1492 that through2596 ignorance52 you did4238 it, as did also2532 your5216 rulers.758

18 惟上帝以諸先知之口、預言基督必受害、是以應焉、〇

18 But those things, which3739 God2316 before4293 had showed4293 by the mouth4750 of all3956 his prophets,4396 that Christ5547 should suffer,3958 he has so3779 fulfilled.4137

19 汝宜悔改反正、俾罪得抹、則主賜爾安舒之日至、

19 Repent3340 you therefore,3767 and be converted,1994 that your5216 sins266 may be blotted1813 out, when3704 the times2540 of refreshing403 shall come2064 from the presence4383 of the Lord.2962

20 主將遣所預言之耶穌基督、

20 And he shall send649 Jesus2424 Christ,5547 which before4296 was preached4296 to you:

21 彼當在天、待萬物振興時、如上帝托古聖先知所言是也、

21 Whom3739 the heaven3772 must1163 receive1209 until891 the times5550 of restitution605 of all3956 things, which3739 God2316 has spoken2980 by the mouth4750 of all3956 his holy40 prophets4396 since575 the world165 began.

22 昔摩西語我列祖云、主、爾之上帝、將於爾兄弟中、挺生先知若我、其所語爾者、必聽之、

22 For Moses3475 truly3303 said2036 to the fathers,3962 A prophet4396 shall the Lord2962 your5216 God2316 raise450 up to you of your5216 brothers,80 like3945 to me; him shall you hear191 in all3956 things whatever3748 302 he shall say2980 to you.

23 不聽、則絕之於民中、

23 And it shall come1511 to pass, that every3956 soul,5590 which3748 302 will not hear191 that prophet,4396 shall be destroyed1842 from among the people.2992

24 自撒母耳以來、諸先知預言、亦指此日、

24 Yes,1161 and all3956 the prophets4396 from Samuel4545 and those3588 that follow2517 after,2517 as many3745 as have spoken,2980 have likewise2532 foretold4293 of these5025 days.2250

25 汝爲先知弟子、承上帝所賜祖宗之約、謂亞伯拉罕曰、天下兆民、將藉爾裔而受福、
