15 daß man7912 lasse suchen1240 in5609 den Chroniken1799 deiner Väter2, so1836 wirst du finden in denselbigen Chroniken1799 und erfahren3046, daß diese1791 Stadt7149 aufrührerisch und schädlich4779 ist den Königen4430 und Landen, und machen, daß andere1459 auch849 abfallen5648, von4481 alters5957 her3118, darum5922 die Stadt7149 auch zerstöret ist.

20 Auch sind3052 mächtige8624 Könige4430 zu Jerusalem3390 gewesen1934, die geherrschet haben7990 über alles3606, das jenseit5675 des Wassers ist5103, daß4061 ihnen Zoll1983, Schoß und5922 jährliche Zinsen gegeben worden.

21 So tut7761 nun3705 nach diesem Befehl2942: Wehret denselben Männern1400, daß5705 die479 Stadt7149 nicht3809 gebauet werde1124, bis daß von4481 mir der Befehl2941 gegeben werde.

21 Give7761 you now3705 commandment2942 to cause these479 men1400 to cease,989 and that this1791 city7149 be not built,1124 until5704 another commandment2941 shall be given7761 from me.

22 So1836 sehet nun zu2095, daß ihr nicht hinlässig hierinnen seid5648; damit4101 nicht Schaden2257 entstehe7680 dem Könige4430.
