1 厥後、耶穌周遊加利利、不履猶太、以猶太人欲殺之、

2 猶太人張幕節伊邇、

3 耶穌兄弟曰、去此、往猶太、使門徒見爾所行、

4 未有欲顯其行、而行於隱者、若爾所行、當自顯於世矣、

5 蓋兄弟猶未之信云、

6 耶穌曰、爾時良便、我時未至、

7 世不能惡爾、而惡我、以我證其所行惡也、

8 往守節期、爾可、我未可、我時未至也、

9 耶穌言竟、仍居加利利、〇

10 兄弟往後、耶穌乃往守節期、不昭然而隱然、

11 猶太人於節期尋耶穌、曰、其人安在、

12 衆論不一、有曰、善人也、有曰、否、惑衆耳、

13 然無敢明言、懼猶太人故也、〇

14 當節期中、耶穌升殿教誨、

15 猶太八奇之、曰、此人未學、何由知書、

16 耶穌曰、我道非由己、乃由遣我者、

17 人遵其旨、必知斯道、或由上帝、或由己言、

18 由己言者、求榮己、惟求榮遣之者爲眞、心無不義也、

19 摩西豈不以律法授爾、第爾曹無一遵者、不然、何爲欲殺我、

20 衆曰、鬼憑爾、誰欲殺爾、

21 耶穌曰、我曾行一事、爾曹以爲異、

22 摩西授爾割禮、然割禮非由摩西、乃由列祖、故爾於安息日行割禮、

23 人於安息日受割禮、免違摩西例、然則安息日愈人、何怒我乎、

24 勿審以貌、乃審以義、

25 耶路撒冷民有曰、此人非衆所欲殺者乎、

26 今彼明言、而衆莫之禁、豈有司知其誠基督乎、

27 然我儕知其所自、若基督至、必無人知其所自、

28 耶穌在殿教誨、呼曰、爾知我、亦知我所自乎、我非自擅而來、有眞者遣我、爾不知之、

29 惟我知之、以其遣我、而我由之來也、

30 人欲執耶穌、但時未至、故無執之者、

31 民多信之曰、基督若至、行異蹟、豈多於此人乎、〇

34 爾將尋我不遇、我所在、爾不能至、

35 猶太人私語曰、其將何往、而我不遇之、豈欲就散處於希利尼者、而教希利尼人乎、

36 所言尋我不遇、我所在不能至、是何言歟、

37 節期末、卽大日、耶穌立而呼曰、人渴、宜就我飲、

38 信我者、其腹必流活水如川、猶記所載、

39 耶穌言此、指信者將感於聖神、當時、耶穌未榮、故聖神未降、〇

40 衆聞此、有曰、是誠先知者、

41 有曰、基督、有曰、基督豈出自加利利乎、

42 記不云、基督爲大闢裔、出自大闢所居伯利恆鄉乎、

43 於是、衆論紛紛、

Chapter 7

1 After3326 these5023 things Jesus2424 walked4043 in Galilee:1056 for he would2309 not walk4043 in Jewry,2449 because3754 the Jews2453 sought2212 to kill615 him.

2 Now1161 the Jew's2453 feast1859 of tabernacles4634 was at1451 hand.1451

3 His brothers80 therefore3767 said2036 to him, Depart3327 hence,1782 and go5217 into1519 Judaea,2449 that your disciples3101 also2532 may see2334 the works2041 that you do.4160

4 For there is no3762 man3762 that does4160 any5100 thing in secret,2927 and he himself846 seeks2212 to be known openly.1722 3954 If1487 you do4160 these5023 things, show5319 yourself4572 to the world.2889

5 For neither3761 did his brothers80 believe4100 in him.

6 Then3767 Jesus2424 said3004 to them, My time2540 is not yet3768 come:3918 but your5212 time2540 is always3842 ready.2092

7 The world2889 cannot3756 1410 hate3404 you; but me it hates,3404 because3754 I testify3140 of it, that the works2041 thereof3012 846 are evil.4190

9 When he had said2036 these5023 words to them, he stayed3306 still in Galilee.1056

10 But when5613 his brothers80 were gone305 up, then5119 went305 he also2532 up to the feast,1859 not openly,5320 but as it were in secret.2927

11 Then3767 the Jews2453 sought2212 him at1722 the feast,1859 and said,3004 Where4226 is he?

12 And there was much4183 murmuring1112 among1722 the people3793 concerning4012 him: for some3588 3303 said,3004 He is a good18 man: others243 said,3004 No;3756 but he deceives4105 the people.3793

13 However,3305 no3762 man3762 spoke2980 openly3954 of him for fear5401 of the Jews.2453

14 Now2235 about the middle3322 of the feast1859 Jesus2424 went305 up into1519 the temple,2411 and taught.1321

15 And the Jews2453 marveled,2296 saying,3004 How4459 knows1492 this3778 man letters,1121 having never3361 learned?3129

16 Jesus2424 answered611 them, and said,2036 My doctrine1322 is not mine,1699 but his that sent3992 me.

17 If1437 any5100 man will2309 do4160 his will,2307 he shall know1097 of the doctrine,1322 whether4220 it be of God,2316 or2228 whether I speak2980 of myself.1683

18 He that speaks2980 of himself1438 seeks2212 his own2398 glory:1391 but he that seeks2212 his glory1391 that sent3992 him, the same3778 is true,227 and no3756 unrighteousness93 is in him.

19 Did not Moses3475 give1325 you the law,3551 and yet none3762 of you keeps4160 the law?3551 Why5101 go2212 you about2212 to kill615 me?

20 The people3793 answered611 and said,2036 You have2192 a devil:1140 who5101 goes2212 about2212 to kill615 you?

21 Jesus2424 answered611 and said2036 to them, I have2192 done4160 one1520 work,2041 and you all3956 marvel.2296

22 Moses3475 therefore1223 5124 gave1325 to you circumcision;4061 (not because3754 it is of Moses,3475 but of the fathers;3962) and you on1722 the sabbath4521 day circumcise4059 a man.444

23 If1487 a man444 on1722 the sabbath4521 day receive2983 circumcision,4061 that the law3551 of Moses3475 should not be broken;3089 are you angry5520 at me, because3754 I have2192 made4160 a man444 every3650 whit3650 whole5199 on1722 the sabbath4521 day?

24 Judge2919 not according2596 to the appearance,3799 but judge2919 righteous1342 judgment.2920

25 Then3767 said3004 some5100 of them of Jerusalem,2414 Is not this3778 he, whom3739 they seek2212 to kill?615

26 But, see,2396 he speaks2980 boldly,3954 and they say3004 nothing3762 to him. Do the rulers758 know1097 indeed230 that this3778 is the very230 Christ?5547

27 However,235 we know1492 this5126 man from where4159 he is: but when3752 Christ5547 comes,2064 no3762 man3762 knows1097 from where4159 he is.

28 Then3767 cried2896 Jesus2424 in the temple2411 as he taught,1321 saying,3004 You both2532 know1492 me, and you know1492 from where4159 I am:1510 and I am not come2064 of myself,1683 but he that sent3992 me is true,228 whom3739 you know1492 not.

29 But I know1492 him: for I am1510 from him, and he has sent649 me.

30 Then3767 they sought2212 to take4084 him: but no3762 man3762 laid1911 hands5495 on1909 him, because3754 his hour5610 was not yet3768 come.2064

31 And many4183 of the people3793 believed4100 on1519 him, and said,3004 When3752 Christ5547 comes,2064 will he do4160 more4119 miracles4592 than these5130 which3739 this3778 man has done?4160

32 The Pharisees5330 heard191 that the people3793 murmured1111 such5023 things concerning4012 him; and the Pharisees5330 and the chief749 priests749 sent649 officers5257 to take4084 him.

33 Then3767 said2036 Jesus2424 to them, Yet2089 a little3398 while5550 am1510 I with you, and then3767 I go5217 to him that sent3992 me.

34 You shall seek2212 me, and shall not find2147 me: and where3699 I am,1510 thither you cannot3756 1410 come.2064

35 Then3767 said2036 the Jews2453 among4314 themselves,1438 Where4226 will3195 he go,4198 that we shall not find2147 him? will3195 he go4198 to the dispersed1290 among the Gentiles,1672 and teach1321 the Gentiles?1672

36 What5101 manner of saying3056 is this3778 that he said,2036 You shall seek me, and shall not find2147 me: and where3699 I am,1510 thither you cannot3756 1410 come?2064

37 In the last2078 day,2250 that great3173 day of the feast,1859 Jesus2424 stood2476 and cried,2896 saying,3004 If1437 any5100 man thirst,1372 let him come2064 to me, and drink.4095

38 He that believes4100 on1519 me, as the scripture1124 has said,2036 out of his belly2836 shall flow4482 rivers4215 of living2198 water.5204

39 (But this5124 spoke2036 he of the Spirit,4151 which3739 they that believe4100 on1519 him should3195 receive:2983 for the Holy40 Ghost4151 was not yet3768 given; because3754 that Jesus2424 was not yet3764 glorified.1392)

40 Many4183 of the people3793 therefore,3767 when they heard191 this3588 saying,3056 said,3004 Of a truth230 this3778 is the Prophet.4396

41 Others243 said,3004 This3778 is the Christ.5547 But some243 said,3004 Shall Christ5547 come2064 out of Galilee?1056

42 Has not the scripture1124 said,2036 That Christ5547 comes2064 of the seed4690 of David,1138 and out of the town2968 of Bethlehem,965 where3699 David1138 was?

45 Then3767 came2064 the officers5257 to the chief749 priests749 and Pharisees;5330 and they said2036 to them, Why1302 have you not brought71 him?

46 The officers5257 answered,611 Never3763 man444 spoke2980 like3779 this3778 man.444

47 Then3767 answered611 them the Pharisees,5330 Are you also2532 deceived?4105

48 Have any3387 of the rulers758 or2228 of the Pharisees5330 believed4100 on1519 him?

49 But this3778 people3793 who3588 knows1097 not the law3551 are cursed.1944

50 Nicodemus3530 said3004 to them, (he that came2064 to Jesus846 by night,3571 being5607 one1520 of them,)

25 耶路撒冷民有曰、此人非衆所欲殺者乎、

30 人欲執耶穌、但時未至、故無執之者、

31 民多信之曰、基督若至、行異蹟、豈多於此人乎、〇

47 法利賽人曰、爾曹亦爲所惑乎、

47 Then3767 answered611 them the Pharisees,5330 Are you also2532 deceived?4105

48 有司與法利賽人、有信之者乎、
