箴言

第13章

1 從父教者爲肖子、違譴責者爲侮慢。

2 言善者果必結、強暴者災必及。

3 謹言者安、妄談者危。

4 惰者欲而不得、勤者必有贏餘。

5 義者惟誑言是疾、惡者見惡而貽羞。

6 仁義護人、罪惡敗人。

7 有貧者佯爲富、有富者佯偽貧。

8 富者被訟、以金贖罪、貧者無財、訟因以免。

9 義人之光常明、惡者之燈必滅。

10 人恃驕泰、多啟爭端、惟聽訓言、可有智慧。

11 專務虛誕者、財以之而耗、勸事服勞者、貨以之而聚。

12 日望不得者、使心懷憂、所欲而遂者、猶生命之樹。

13 棄道者取敗亡、畏命者贋賞賫。

14 智者之道、如生命之泉、得脫於致死之網。

15 明哲之人、必蒙恩寵、犯罪之徒、必遭困苦。

16 智者彌慎厥行、愚者愈形其拙。

17 惡役必遭殃、忠僕必納福。

18 棄道者遭貧辱、承教者得尊榮。

19 所欲必遂、中心懽樂、愚人有過、畏難不改。

20 與智人爲友者、自生智慧、與愚人爲侶者、必致敗亡。

21 惡人遇禍災、義者蒙賞賫。

22 作善之人、業遺子孫、惡者之財、爲義者所得。

23 貧者力田、多得物產、蓋藏無智、終歸朽壞。

24 杖箠不及其子、不謂之愛、惟愛子者、備加扑責。
