1 И продолжал6030 Елиуй453 и сказал:559

2 выслушайте,8085 мудрые,2450 речь4405 мою, и приклоните238 ко мне ухо,238 рассудительные!3045

3 Ибо ухо241 разбирает974 слова,4405 как гортань2441 различает2938 вкус2938 в пище.398

4 Установим977 между собою рассуждение4941 и распознаем,3045 что хорошо.2896

5 Вот, Иов347 сказал:559 я прав,6663 но Бог410 лишил5493 меня суда.4941

6 Должен ли я лгать3576 на правду4941 мою? Моя рана2671 неисцелима605 без вины.6588

7 Есть ли такой человек,1397 как Иов,347 который пьет8354 глумление,3933 как воду,4325

8 вступает732 в сообщество2274 с делающими6466 беззаконие205 и ходит3212 с людьми582 нечестивыми?7562

9 Потому что он сказал:559 нет пользы5532 для человека1397 в благоугождении7521 Богу.430

10 Итак послушайте8085 меня, мужи582 мудрые!3824 Не2486 может2486 быть2486 у Бога410 неправда7562 или у Вседержителя7706 неправосудие,5766

11 ибо Он по делам6467 человека120 поступает7999 с ним и по путям734 мужа376 воздает4672 ему.

13 Кто кроме Его промышляет6485 о земле?776 И кто управляет7760 всею вселенною?8398

14 Если бы Он обратил7760 сердце3820 Свое к Себе и взял622 к Себе дух7307 ее и дыхание5397 ее, —

15 вдруг погибла1478 бы всякая3162 плоть,1320 и человек120 возвратился7725 бы в прах.6083

16 Итак, если ты имеешь разум,998 то слушай8085 это и внимай238 словам69634405 моим.

17 Ненавидящий8130 правду4941 может ли владычествовать?2280 И можешь ли ты обвинить7561 Всеправедного?35246662

18 Можно ли сказать559 царю:4428 ты — нечестивец,1100 и князьям:5081 вы — беззаконники?7563

19 Но Он не смотрит5375 и на лица6440 князей8269 и не предпочитает5234 богатого7771 бедному,1800 потому что все они дело4639 рук3027 Его.

20 Внезапно7281 они умирают;4191 среди2676 ночи3915 народ5971 возмутится,1607 и они исчезают;5674 и сильных47 изгоняют5493 не силою.3027

21 Ибо очи5869 Его над путями1870 человека,376 и Он видит7200 все шаги6806 его.

22 Нет тьмы,2822 ни тени6757 смертной,6757 где могли бы укрыться5641 делающие6466 беззаконие.205

23 Потому Он уже не требует7760 от человека,376 чтобы шел1980 на суд4941 с Богом.410

24 Он сокрушает7489 сильных3524 без исследования2714 и поставляет5975 других312 на их места;

25 потому что Он делает5234 известными5234 дела4566 их и низлагает2015 их ночью,3915 и они истребляются.1792

26 Он поражает5606 их, как беззаконных7563 людей, пред глазами7200 других,

27 за то, что они отвратились5493 от Него и не уразумели7919 всех путей1870 Его,

28 так что дошел935 до Него вопль6818 бедных,1800 и Он услышал8085 стенание6818 угнетенных.6041

29 Дарует8252 ли Он тишину,8252 кто может возмутить?7561 скрывает5641 ли Он лице6440 Свое, кто может увидеть7789 Его? Будет ли это для народа,1471 или для одного3162 человека,120

33 По твоему ли рассуждению Он должен воздавать?7999 И как ты отвергаешь,3988 то тебе следует избирать,977 а не мне; говори,1696 что знаешь.3045

34 Люди582 разумные3824 скажут559 мне, и муж1397 мудрый,2450 слушающий8085 меня:

35 Иов347 не умно1847 говорит,1696 и слова1697 его не со смыслом.7919

36 Я желал15 бы, чтобы Иов347 вполне5331 был974 испытан,974 по ответам8666 его, свойственным людям582 нечестивым.205

37 Иначе он ко греху2403 своему прибавит3254 отступление,6588 будет рукоплескать5606 между нами и еще больше7235 наговорит561 против Бога.410

Chapter 34

1 MOREOVER Elihu continued and said.

2 Hear my words, O you wise men, and give ear to me, you that have knowledge.

3 For the ear tries words, and the palate tastes food.

4 Let us choose for us a judge; let him know among ourselves what is good.

5 For Job has said, I am righteous; and God has turned aside my judgment.

6 Who is the man who has perished without transgression?

7 What man is like Job, who drinks up scorning like water?

8 Who is a companion and friend of the workers of iniquity, and walks with wicked men?

9 For he has said that a man is not justified because he fears God.

10 Therefore hearken to me, O you men of understanding; far be it from God that he should do wickedness; and far be it from him that he should commit iniquity.

11 For he compensates a man according to his works, and causes every man to be rewarded according to his ways.

12 Truly, God does not commit iniquity, neither does God pervert justice.

13 Who has control over the earth? Or who has made all the world?

14 If he should turn his heart against man, man's spirit and his breath will be gathered to him.

15 Then all flesh would perish together, and man would return again to dust.

16 If now you have understanding, hear this; hearken to the voice of my words.

17 He who hates justice cannot be declared innocent, and he who is innocent will not be condemned justly;

18 He who says concerning the king that he is wicked, and yet he is a good ruler over princes and governors;

19 And not partial to princes, and does not discriminate against the poor (for they are all the work of his hands);

20 In a moment shall he die, and he shall be consumed at midnight, and pass away; he will be rendered powerless by the Almighty.

21 For his eyes are upon all the ways of man, and he sees all his goings.

22 There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.

23 For he has not set a time for a man that he should enter into judgment with God.

24 For he has brought misfortune to many men without number, and sets others in their places.

25 Therefore he knows them by their works, and he overturns them in the night.

26 Their works shall be crushed under the weight of their wickedness in a land of terror;

27 Because they turned aside from following him, and did not consider any of his ways.

28 The prayer of the poor comes to him, and he hears the cry of the afflicted.

29 When he forgives, who then can condemn? And when he turns his face away, who can forgive the people, or mankind altogether?

30 He sees to it that an impious and wicked man shall not reign over the people.

31 For God has said, I have forgiven, I will not destroy men who are without sin.

32 en_lbp_inform me now, teach me, if you have committed iniquity;

33 I will not answer you any more, because you have sinned, for you have been examined, and not I; therefore speak out what you know.

34 Let men of understanding tell me, and let a wise man hearken to me.

35 Job has spoken without knowledge, and his words are without understanding.

36 Truly, Job has been tested to the end, and yet he is not counted among the wicked.

37 And if Job should add to his sins, then his transgression will affect us all, and he still will bring his complaint before God.

10 Therefore hearken to me, O you men of understanding; far be it from God that he should do wickedness; and far be it from him that he should commit iniquity.

11 For he compensates a man according to his works, and causes every man to be rewarded according to his ways.

12 Истинно,551 Бог410 не делает7561 неправды7561 и Вседержитель7706 не извращает5791 суда.4941

12 Truly, God does not commit iniquity, neither does God pervert justice.

17 He who hates justice cannot be declared innocent, and he who is innocent will not be condemned justly;

28 The prayer of the poor comes to him, and he hears the cry of the afflicted.

29 Дарует8252 ли Он тишину,8252 кто может возмутить?7561 скрывает5641 ли Он лице6440 Свое, кто может увидеть7789 Его? Будет ли это для народа,1471 или для одного3162 человека,120

29 When he forgives, who then can condemn? And when he turns his face away, who can forgive the people, or mankind altogether?

30 чтобы не царствовал4427 лицемер1202611 к соблазну4170 народа.5971

30 He sees to it that an impious and wicked man shall not reign over the people.

31 К Богу410 должно говорить:559 я потерпел,5375 больше не буду2254 грешить.2254

31 For God has said, I have forgiven, I will not destroy men who are without sin.

32 А чего я не знаю,2372 Ты научи3384 меня; и если я сделал6466 беззаконие,5766 больше3254 не буду.3254

32 en_lbp_inform me now, teach me, if you have committed iniquity;

33 По твоему ли рассуждению Он должен воздавать?7999 И как ты отвергаешь,3988 то тебе следует избирать,977 а не мне; говори,1696 что знаешь.3045

33 I will not answer you any more, because you have sinned, for you have been examined, and not I; therefore speak out what you know.

34 Люди582 разумные3824 скажут559 мне, и муж1397 мудрый,2450 слушающий8085 меня:

34 Let men of understanding tell me, and let a wise man hearken to me.

35 Иов347 не умно1847 говорит,1696 и слова1697 его не со смыслом.7919

35 Job has spoken without knowledge, and his words are without understanding.

36 Я желал15 бы, чтобы Иов347 вполне5331 был974 испытан,974 по ответам8666 его, свойственным людям582 нечестивым.205
