Psalm 77

1 I CRIED to God with my voice, and he heard me; I have lifted up my voice to him, and he answered me.

2 In the day of my trouble I sought the LORD; my torment continued through the night, and ceased not; there was no comforter for my soul.

3 When I remembered, O God, I was troubled; I meditated, and my spirit was overwhelmed.

4 My eyes are dazed; I am dumb so that I cannot speak.

5 I have considered the days of old; I am mindful of the years of ancient times.

6 I meditated far into the night; I communed with mine own heart; I have examined my soul and said,

7 Has the LORD forsaken me for ever? and will he be favorable no more?

8 Is his mercy gone for ever? does his promise fail for evermore?

9 Has God forgotten to be gracious? has he in anger shut up his tender mercies?

10 And I said, This is my infirmity; it is another visitation of the power of the most High.

11 I will remember the works of the LORD; surely I will remember thy wonders of old.

12 I will meditate also of all thy works, and think of thy skillful doings.

13 Thy way, O God, is holy; there is none so great as our God.

14 Thou art the God that doest wonders; thou hast declared thy strength among the people.

15 Thou hast with thine arm saved thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph.

16 The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid; the depths also were troubled.

17 The clouds poured out water; the skies sent out a sound; thine arrows also flew around.

18 The voice of thy thunder was in the heavens; the lightnings lightened the world; the earth trembled and shook.

19 Thy way is in the sea, and thy path is in the great waters, but thy footsteps are not seen.

20 Thou didst lead thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

Псалом 77

1 Учение Асафа. Внемли, народ мой, учению моему, приклони ухо твое к словам уст моих.

2 Я отверзаю для притчи уста мои, произнесу гадания из древности,

3 Что слышали мы и узнали, что повествовали нам отцы наши,

4 Не сокроем мы от детей их, роду позднему возвестим славу Господа, и могущество Его и чудеса, которые Он сотворил.

5 Свидетельство поставил Он во Иакове, и у Израиля положил закон, который Он дал отцам нашим, чтобы они предали его детям своим;

6 Дабы знал будущий род, дети, которые родятся, и также возвещали детям своим,

7 Чтобы они возлагали надежду свою на Бога, и не забывали дел Божиих, и заповеди Его хранили;

8 И чтобы не были таковы, как отцы их, род преступный и мятежный, род, который не тверд был сердцем своим, и не верен Богу духом своим.

9 Сыны Ефремовы вооруженные, стреляющие из лука, обратились назад в день битвы.

10 Не сохранили завета Божия, и отреклись ходить в законе Его.

11 Забыли дела Его, и чудеса, которые Он явил им.

12 Как Он пред отцами их сотворил чудеса в земле Египетской, на поле Цоан;

13 Рассек море, и провел их, воды поставил стеною;

14 И вел их днем под облаком, и во всю ночь при свете огня.

15 Рассекал камни в пустыне, и поил, как из великой бездны;

16 Из утеса источал струи, и низводил воды реками.

17 Но они еще продолжали грешить пред Ним и огорчать Всевышнего в пустыне.

18 И искушали Бога в сердце своем, прося пищи по душе своей,

19 И говорили против Бога, и сказали: `может ли Бог приготовить стол в пустыне?

20 Вот Он ударил в камень, и потекли воды, и полились реки: может ли и хлеб дать? приготовит ли и мясо народу Своему?`

3 When I remembered, O God, I was troubled; I meditated, and my spirit was overwhelmed.	3 Что слышали мы и узнали, что повествовали нам отцы наши,
4 My eyes are dazed; I am dumb so that I cannot speak.	4 Не сокроем мы от детей их, роду позднему возвестим славу Господа, и могущество Его и чудеса, которые Он сотворил.
5 I have considered the days of old; I am mindful of the years of ancient times.	5 Свидетельство поставил Он во Иакове, и у Израиля положил закон, который Он дал отцам нашим, чтобы они предали его детям своим;
