1 Да восхвалён будет Господь, Скала моя, Тот, Кто меня обучает битве и к войне готовит.

2 Он — Бог мой любящий, убежище моё высоко в горах. Он — крепость мне и щит, Он помогает управлять моим народом.

3 Господь, ну почему же люди так важны Тебе? Ну почему Ты замечаешь нас?

4 Подобен человек лишь дуновению ветерка, а дни его как убегающая тень.

5 Господь, спустись, прорвавши небеса, и горы тронь, чтоб задымились.

6 Брось молнии и разбросай врага, пускай от стрел Твоих он убегает.

7 Достань меня с небес, спаси от могучих, словно море, чужеземцев.

8 И даже когда они клянутся, всё лживые слова от них исходят.

9 Я новой песней воспою Тебя, Господь, играя для Тебя на десятиструнной лире.

10 Ты — дающий царям победу, Спаситель слуги Своего, Давида, от смертного меча.

11 Спаси меня от коварных чужеземцев, которым верить ни в коем случае нельзя. Ведь даже когда они клянутся, всё лживые слова от них слышу я.

12 Пусть деревьям крепким будут подобны наши сыновья, а дочери — колоннам стройным во дворце.
