1 Псалом Давида Слава ГОСПОДУ, скале Моей! Он сделал меня успешным в битве, готовым к войне.

2 Он Бог, милующий меня, крепость моя, оплот мой, мой Избавитель, мой щит и прибежище мое, Он народы мне подчиняет.

3 ГОСПОДИ, что представляет собой человек, чтобы Ты заботился о нем? И кто такие сыны человеческие, чтобы Ты обращал на них внимание?

4 Ведь жизнь их — не более, чем дуновение ветра, дни их — что тень убегающая.

5 Наклони небеса Твои, ГОСПОДИ, и снизойди, коснись гор, и они задымятся.

6 Пошли молнию и рассей врагов Своих, стрелами Твоими в бегство их обрати.

7 Простри с высоты руку Свою, спаси и избавь меня от вод больших, от рук людей мне чуждых,

8 чьи уста говорят неправду и у кого каждая клятва ложна.

9 Буду петь Тебе, Боже, песню новую, буду играть Тебе на арфе десятиструнной,

10 ибо Ты даруешь победу царям, спасаешь слугу Своего Давида.

11 И ныне от меча смертоносного спаси меня и избавь меня от рук людей мне чуждых, чьи уста говорят неправду и у кого каждая клятва ложна.

12 Да будут сыновья наши в юности своей подобны мощным деревьям и наши дочери — искусно изваянным колоннам дворцовым!
