Die Apostelgeschichte des Lukas
Kapitel 25
1 Now3767 when Festus5347 was come1910 into the province,1885 after3326 three5140 days2250 he ascended305 from Caesarea2542 to Jerusalem.2414
1 Da nun3767 Festus5347 ins1519 Land1885 kommen305 war, zog er über3326 drei5140 Tage2250 hinauf von575 Cäsarea2542 gen Jerusalem2414.
2 Then1161 the high749 priest749 and the chief4413 of the Jews2453 informed1718 him against2596 Paul,3972 and sought3870 him,
2 Da2532 erschienen1718 vor ihm846 die Hohenpriester749 und1161 die Vornehmsten4413 der Juden2453 wider2596 Paulus3972 und2532 ermahneten ihn
3 And desired154 favor5485 against2596 him, that he would send3343 for him to Jerusalem,2419 laying4160 wait4160 1747 in the way3598 to kill337 him.
3 und baten um2596 Gunst5485 wider2596 ihn, daß3704 er846 ihn fordern154 ließe3343 gen Jerusalem2419, und stelleten ihm846 nach1519, daß sie846 ihn unterwegs umbrächten337.
4 But Festus5347 answered,611 that Paul3972 should be kept5083 at1722 Caesarea,2542 and that he himself1438 would3195 depart1607 shortly1722 5034 thither.
4 Da3767 antwortete611 Festus5347, Paulus3972 würde3195 ja behalten5083 zu1722 Cäsarea2542; aber1161 er1438 würde in1722 kurzem5034 wieder dahin ziehen1607.
5 Let them therefore,3767 said5346 he, which among1722 you are able,1415 go4782 down4782 with me, and accuse2723 this846 man,435 if1487 there be any1536 wickedness824 in him.
5 Welche nun3767 unter euch5213 (sprach5346 er846) können1415, die lasset mit1722 hinabziehen4782 und den Mann435 Verklagen2723, so1536 etwas1536 an1722 ihm5129 ist2076.
6 And when he had tarried1304 among1722 them more4119 than2228 ten1176 days,2250 he went2597 down2597 to Caesarea;2542 and the next1887 day1887 sitting2523 on1909 the judgment968 seat968 commanded2753 Paul3972 to be brought.71
6 Da1909 er846 aber1161 bei1722 ihnen mehr denn4119 zehn1176 Tage2250 gewesen1304 war, zog er hinab2597 gen Cäsarea2542; und2228 des andern Tages1887 setzte er sich2523 auf1519 den Richterstuhl und hieß2753 Paulus3972 holen71.
7 And when he was come,3854 the Jews2453 which came2597 down2597 from Jerusalem2414 stood4026 round4026 about,3936 and laid5342 many4183 and grievous926 complaints157 against2596 Paul,3972 which3588 they could2480 not prove.584
7 Da derselbige aber1161 vor ihn kam2597, traten umher4026 die3739 Juden2453, die von575 Jerusalem2414 herabkommen waren3854, und2532 brachten5342 auf viel4183 und schwere926 Klagen157 wider2596 Paulus3972, welche sie846 nicht3756 mochten beweisen584,
8 While he answered626 for himself, Neither3777 against1519 the law3551 of the Jews,2453 neither3777 against1519 the temple,2411 nor3777 yet against1519 Caesar,2541 have I offended264 any5100 thing at all.
8 dieweil626 er846 sich5100 verantwortete: Ich habe weder3777 an1519 der Juden2453 Gesetz3551 noch3777 an1519 dem Tempel2411 noch3777 an1519 dem Kaiser2541 mich versündiget.
9 But Festus,5347 willing2309 to do2698 the Jews2453 a pleasure,5485 answered611 Paul,3972 and said,2036 Will you go305 up to Jerusalem,2414 and there1563 be judged2919 of these5130 things before1909 me?
9 Festus5347 aber1161 wollte2309 den Juden2453 eine Gunst5485 erzeigen2698 und antwortete611 Paulus3972 und sprach2036: Willst2309 du hinauf305 gen1519 Jerusalem2414 und daselbst1563 über4012 diesem5130 dich vor1909 mir1700 richten2919 lassen?
10 Then1161 said2036 Paul,3972 I stand2476 at1909 Caesar's2541 judgment968 seat,968 where3757 I ought1163 to be judged:2919 to the Jews2453 have I done91 no3762 wrong,91 as you very2566 well2573 know.1921
10 Paulus3972 aber1161 sprach2036: Ich stehe1510 vor1909 des Kaisers2541 Gericht968, da3757 soll1163 ich mich3165 lassen richten2919; den Juden2453 habe ich kein3762 Leid91 getan, wie auch2532 du4771 aufs beste2573 weißt1921.
11 For if1487 I be an offender,91 or2532 have committed4238 any5100 thing worthy514 of death,2288 I refuse3868 not to die:599 but if1487 there be none3762 of these things whereof3739 these3778 accuse2723 me, no3762 man3762 may1410 deliver5483 me to them. I appeal1941 to Caesar.2541
11 Habe ich aber1161 jemand Leid91 getan1063 und2532 des846 Todes2288 wert514 gehandelt4238, so weigere3868 ich mich3450 nicht3756 zu sterben599; ist3303 aber der2076 keines3762 nicht3762, des sie3778 mich3165 verklagen2723, so kann1410 mich ihnen niemand5100 ergeben. Ich berufe mich auf1941 den Kaiser2541.
12 Then5119 Festus,5347 when he had conferred4814 with the council,4824 answered,611 Have you appealed1941 to Caesar?2541 to Caesar2541 shall you go.4198
12 Da5119 besprach4814 sich1909 Festus5347 mit3326 dem Rat4824 und antwortete611: Auf1941 den Kaiser2541 hast du dich berufen, zum Kaiser2541 sollst du ziehen4198.
13 And after1230 certain5100 days2250 king935 Agrippa67 and Bernice959 came2658 to Caesarea2542 to salute782 Festus.5347
13 Aber1161 nach1230 etlichen5100 Tagen2250 kamen2658 der König935 Agrippa67 und2532 Bernice959 gen Cäsarea2542, Festus5347 zu1519 empfangen.
14 And when5613 they had been1304 there1563 many4119 days,2250 Festus5347 declared394 Paul's3972 cause3588 2596 to the king,935 saying,3004 There is a certain5100 man435 left2641 in bonds1198 by Felix:5344
14 Und1161 da5613 sie viel4119 Tage2250 daselbst1563 gewesen1304 waren, legte394 Festus5347 dem Könige935 den Handel von5259 Paulus3972 vor2596 und sprach3004: Es ist2076 ein5100 Mann435, von Felix5344 hinterlassen2641 gefangen1198,
15 About4012 whom,3739 when I was at1519 Jerusalem,2414 the chief749 priests749 and the elders4245 of the Jews2453 informed1718 me, desiring154 to have judgment1349 against2596 him.
15 um4012 welches willen die3739 Hohenpriester749 und2532 Ältesten4245 der Juden2453 vor2596 mir3450 erschienen1718, da ich zu1519 Jerusalem2414 war1096, und baten154, ich sollte ihn846 richten1349 lassen;
16 To whom3739 I answered,611 It is not the manner1485 of the Romans4514 to deliver5483 any5100 man444 to die,684 before4250 that he which is accused2723 have2192 the accusers2725 face4383 to face,4383 and have2983 license5117 to answer627 for himself concerning4012 the crime1462 laid1462 against him.
16 welchen ich antwortete: Es5117 ist2076 der3739 Römer4514 Weise1485 nicht3756, daß1519 ein5100 Mensch444 ergeben werde5483 umzubringen684, ehe4250 denn2228 der4012 Verklagte2723 habe2192 seine Kläger2725 gegenwärtig und Raum empfange2983, sich der Anklage1462 zu4314 verantworten627.
17 Therefore,3767 when they were come4905 here,1759 without3367 4160 any3362 delay311 on1909 the morrow1836 I sat2523 on1909 the judgment968 seat,968 and commanded2753 the man435 to be brought71 forth.
17 Da3767 sie2753 aber her1759 zusammenkamen4905, machte4160 ich keinen3367 Aufschub311 und hielt2523 des846 andern Tages1836 Gericht968 und hieß den Mann435 vorbringen71.
18 Against4012 whom3739 when the accusers2725 stood2476 up, they brought2018 none3762 accusation156 of such things as I supposed:5282
18 Von4012 welchem3739, da die3739 Verkläger2725 auftraten, brachten2018 sie2476 der Ursachen156 keine3762 auf, der ich1473 mich versah5282.
19 But had2192 certain5100 questions2213 against4314 him of their own2398 superstition,1175 and of one5100 Jesus,2424 which was dead,2348 whom3739 Paul3972 affirmed5335 to be alive.2198
19 Sie hatten2192 aber1161 etliche5100 Fragen2213 wider ihn4314 von4012 ihrem2398 Aberglauben1175 und2532 von4012 einem5100 verstorbenen2348 JEsus2424, von welchem3739 Paulus3972 sagte5335, er846 lebete.
20 And because I doubted639 of such manner4012 of questions,2214 I asked3004 him whether1487 he would go4198 to Jerusalem,2419 and there1563 be judged2919 of these5130 matters.
20 Da1519 ich1473 aber1161 mich der4012 Frage2214 nicht verstund, sprach3004 ich, ob1487 er wollte1014 gen1519 Jerusalem2419 reisen4198 und daselbst2546 sich darüber4012 lassen richten2919.
21 But when Paul3972 had appealed1941 to be reserved5083 to the hearing1233 of Augustus,828 I commanded2753 him to be kept5083 till2193 I might send3992 him to Caesar.2541
21 Da aber1161 Paulus3972 sich848 berief, daß4314 er846 auf1941 des846 Kaisers2541 Erkenntnis1233 behalten5083 würde, hieß ich2753 ihn behalten5083, bis2193 daß ich ihn zum1519 Kaiser4575 sende3992.
22 Then1161 Agrippa67 said5346 to Festus,5347 I would also2532 hear191 the man444 myself. To morrow,839 said5346 he, you shall hear191 him.
22 Agrippa67 aber1161 sprach5346 zu4314 Festus5347: Ich möchte den444 Menschen auch2532 gerne hören191. Er846 aber1014 sprach5346: Morgen sollst du ihn846 hören191.
23 And on the morrow,1887 when Agrippa67 was come,2064 and Bernice,959 with great4183 pomp,5325 and was entered1525 into1519 the place201 of hearing,201 with the chief5506 captains,5506 and principal3588 2596 1851 5607 men435 of the city,4172 at Festus'5347 commandment2753 Paul3972 was brought71 forth.
23 Und2532 am andern Tage1887, da3767 Agrippa67 und2532 Bernice959 kamen1525 mit3326 großem4183 Gepränge5325 und5037 gingen2064 in1519 das5607 Richthaus201 mit2596 den Hauptleuten5506 und2532 vornehmsten Männern435 der Stadt, und2532 da es Festus5347 hieß2753, ward Paulus3972 gebracht71.
24 And Festus5347 said,5346 King935 Agrippa,67 and all3956 men435 which3588 are here4840 present4840 with us, you see2334 this5126 man, about4012 whom3739 all3956 the multitude4128 of the Jews2453 have2983 dealt1793 with me, both5037 at1722 Jerusalem,2414 and also here,1759 crying1916 that he ought1163 not to live2198 any3371 longer.3371
24 Und2532 Festus5347 sprach5346: Lieber König935 Agrippa67 und2532 alle3956 ihr Männer435, die3739 ihr mit uns2254 hier4840 seid, da sehet ihr den3588, um4012 welchen mich3427 die ganze3956 Menge4128 der Juden2453 angelanget hat1722, beide, zu2334 Jerusalem2414 und5037 auch hier1759, und2532 schrieen1916, er solle1163 nicht3361 länger3371 leben2198.
25 But when I found2638 that he had committed4238 nothing3367 worthy514 of death,2288 and that he himself848 has appealed1941 to Augustus,828 I have2983 determined2919 to send3992 him.
25 Ich1473 aber1161, da ich vernahm, daß er846 nichts3367 getan hatte4238, was des Todes2288 wert514 sei, und1161 er auch selber sich2638 auf1941 den Kaiser4575 berief5127, habe ich beschlossen2919, ihn zu senden3992,
26 Of whom3739 I have2192 no3756 certain804 thing to write1125 to my lord.2962 Why1352 I have brought4254 him forth4254 before1909 you, and specially3122 before1909 you, O king935 Agrippa,67 that, after examination351 had,1096 I might have2192 somewhat5100 to write.1125
26 von1909 welchem ich nichts3756 Gewisses804 habe1096, das3739 ich dem5100 Herrn2962 schreibe1125. Darum1352 habe2192 ich ihn846 lassen hervorbringen vor4254 euch5216, allermeist3122 aber2532 vor4254 dich4675 König935 Agrippa67, auf1909 daß3704 ich nach4012 geschehener Erforschung351 haben2192 möge, was5100 ich schreibe1125;
27 For it seems1380 to me unreasonable249 to send3992 a prisoner,1198 and not with to signify4591 the crimes156 laid against2596 him.
27 denn1063 es dünkt1380 mich3427 ungeschickt Ding249 sein3992, einen Gefangenen1198 zu schicken und2532 keine3361 Ursache156 wider2596 ihn846 anzeigen.
