出埃及記

第13章

1 耶和華曉諭摩西說：

2 「以色列中凡頭生的，無論是人是牲畜，都是我的，要分別為聖歸我。」

3 摩西對百姓說：「你們要記念從埃及為奴之家出來的這日，因為耶和華用大能的手將你們從這地方領出來。有酵的餅都不可吃。

4 亞筆月間的這日是你們出來的日子。

5 將來耶和華領你進迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、希未人、耶布斯人之地，就是他向你的祖宗起誓應許給你那流奶與蜜之地，那時你要在這月間守這禮。

6 你要吃無酵餅七日，到第七天要向耶和華守節。

7 這七日之久，要吃無酵餅；在你四境之內不可見有酵的餅，也不可見發酵的物。

8 當那日，你要告訴你的兒子說：『這是因耶和華在我出埃及的時候為我所行的事。

9 這要在你手上作記號，在你兩眼當中［between thine eyes］作紀念，使耶和華的律法常在你口中；因為耶和華曾用大能的手將你從埃及領出來。

10 所以你每年要按著日期守這例。』」

11 「將來，耶和華照他向你和你祖宗所起的誓將你領進迦南人之地，把這地賜給你，

12 那時你要將一切頭生的，並牲畜中頭生的，歸給耶和華；公的都要屬耶和華。

13 凡頭生的驢，你要用綿羊羔［lamb］代贖；若不代贖，就要打折牠的頸項。凡你兒子中頭生的都要贖出來。

14 日後，那時［when］你的兒子問你說：『這是甚麼意思？』你要［shalt］對他［unto him］說：『耶和華用大能的手將我們從埃及為奴之家領出來；

15 那時法老幾乎不容我們去，耶和華就把埃及地所有頭生的，無論是人是牲畜，都殺了。因此，我把一切頭生的公牲畜獻給耶和華為祭，但將頭生的兒女［children］都贖出來。

16 這要在你手上作記號，在你兩眼當中［between thine eyes］作額革［frontlets］；因為耶和華用大能的手將我們從埃及領出來。』」

17 法老容百姓去的時候，非利士地的道路雖近，神卻不領他們從那裏走；因為神說：「恐怕百姓遇見打仗後悔，就回埃及去。」

18 所以神領百姓繞道而行，走紅海曠野的路。以色列人出埃及地，都頂盔貫甲［harnessed］上去。

19 摩西把約瑟的骸骨一同帶去；因為約瑟曾叫以色列人嚴嚴地起誓，對他們說：「神必眷顧你們，你們要把我的骸骨從這裏一同帶上去。」

20 他們從疏割起行，在曠野邊的以倘安營。

21 日間，耶和華在雲柱中領他們的路；夜間，在火柱中光照他們，使他們日夜都可以行走。

22 日間雲柱，夜間火柱，他總不收去，使柱［He took not away the pillar］離開百姓的面前。

Exodus

Chapter 13

1 AND the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2 Sanctify to me every first-born that opens the womb among the children of Israel, both of men and of animals; for they are mine.

3 And Moses said to the people, Remember this day in which you came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by a strong hand the LORD brought you out from this place; there shall no leavened bread be eaten on this day.

4 In this day you are going forth in the month of Abib.

5 And it shall be when the LORD shall bring you into the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Hivites, the Jebusites, and the Perizzites, which he swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, therefore you shall keep this service in this month.

6 Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day there shall be a festival to the LORD.

7 Unleavened bread shall you eat for seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with you throughout all your territory.

8 And you shall tell your son on that day, This is done because of what my God did for me when I came forth out of Egypt.

9 And it shall be to you for a sign. a token of remembrance upon your hand, and for a memorial between your eyes, so that the law of the LORD may be in your mouth; for with a strong hand has the LORD brought you out of Egypt.

10 You must therefore keep this ordinance and this law at its appointed time from year to year.

11 And it shall be when the LORD brings you into the land of the Canaanites, as he swore to you and to your fathers, and shall give it to you,

12 You shall set apart to the LORD every first-born that opens the womb and every firstling that comes of the animals that you have; the males shall be the LORD'S.

13 And every firstling male of the cattle you shall redeem with a lamb; but if you do not wish to redeem it, then you must kill it: and every first-born of men among your sons you shall redeem.

14 And it shall be when your son asks you in time to come, saying, What is this? You shall say to him, By a strong hand the LORD brought us out of Egypt from the house of bondage;

15 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh was stubborn, and would not let us go, the LORD slew all the first-born in the land of Egypt, from the first-born of man to the first-born of animals; that is why I sacrifice to the LORD all that open the womb, being males; but all the first-born of my sons I redeem.

16 And it shall be as a token on your hand and as a memorial between your eyes; for by a strong hand the LORD brought you out of Egypt.

17 land it came to pass when Pharaoh had let the people go, God did not lead them by the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest the people be afraid when they see war, and return to Egypt:

18 But God led the people by the way of the wilderness by the Red Sea; and the children of Israel went up armed out of the land of Egypt.

19 And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him; for he had solemnly made the children of Israel to swear, saying, God will surely remember you; and you must carry up my bones from here with you.

20 And they journeyed from Succoth and encamped at Etham, on the edge of the wilderness.

21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of cloud, to lead them on the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; so that they might travel by day and by night;

22 The pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night never failed to go before the people.

1 耶和華曉諭摩西說：

1 AND the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2 Sanctify to me every first-born that opens the womb among the children of Israel, both of men and of animals; for they are mine.

3 摩西對百姓說：「你們要記念從埃及為奴之家出來的這日，因為耶和華用大能的手將你們從這地方領出來。有酵的餅都不可吃。

3 And Moses said to the people, Remember this day in which you came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by a strong hand the LORD brought you out from this place; there shall no leavened bread be eaten on this day.

4 亞筆月間的這日是你們出來的日子。

4 In this day you are going forth in the month of Abib.

5 將來耶和華領你進迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、希未人、耶布斯人之地，就是他向你的祖宗起誓應許給你那流奶與蜜之地，那時你要在這月間守這禮。

5 And it shall be when the LORD shall bring you into the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Hivites, the Jebusites, and the Perizzites, which he swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, therefore you shall keep this service in this month.

6 你要吃無酵餅七日，到第七天要向耶和華守節。

6 Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day there shall be a festival to the LORD.

7 這七日之久，要吃無酵餅；在你四境之內不可見有酵的餅，也不可見發酵的物。

7 Unleavened bread shall you eat for seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with you throughout all your territory.

8 當那日，你要告訴你的兒子說：『這是因耶和華在我出埃及的時候為我所行的事。

8 And you shall tell your son on that day, This is done because of what my God did for me when I came forth out of Egypt.

9 這要在你手上作記號，在你兩眼當中［between thine eyes］作紀念，使耶和華的律法常在你口中；因為耶和華曾用大能的手將你從埃及領出來。

9 And it shall be to you for a sign. a token of remembrance upon your hand, and for a memorial between your eyes, so that the law of the LORD may be in your mouth; for with a strong hand has the LORD brought you out of Egypt.

10 所以你每年要按著日期守這例。』」

10 You must therefore keep this ordinance and this law at its appointed time from year to year.

11 「將來，耶和華照他向你和你祖宗所起的誓將你領進迦南人之地，把這地賜給你，

11 And it shall be when the LORD brings you into the land of the Canaanites, as he swore to you and to your fathers, and shall give it to you,

12 那時你要將一切頭生的，並牲畜中頭生的，歸給耶和華；公的都要屬耶和華。

12 You shall set apart to the LORD every first-born that opens the womb and every firstling that comes of the animals that you have; the males shall be the LORD'S.

13 凡頭生的驢，你要用綿羊羔［lamb］代贖；若不代贖，就要打折牠的頸項。凡你兒子中頭生的都要贖出來。

13 And every firstling male of the cattle you shall redeem with a lamb; but if you do not wish to redeem it, then you must kill it: and every first-born of men among your sons you shall redeem.

14 日後，那時［when］你的兒子問你說：『這是甚麼意思？』你要［shalt］對他［unto him］說：『耶和華用大能的手將我們從埃及為奴之家領出來；

14 And it shall be when your son asks you in time to come, saying, What is this? You shall say to him, By a strong hand the LORD brought us out of Egypt from the house of bondage;

15 那時法老幾乎不容我們去，耶和華就把埃及地所有頭生的，無論是人是牲畜，都殺了。因此，我把一切頭生的公牲畜獻給耶和華為祭，但將頭生的兒女［children］都贖出來。

15 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh was stubborn, and would not let us go, the LORD slew all the first-born in the land of Egypt, from the first-born of man to the first-born of animals; that is why I sacrifice to the LORD all that open the womb, being males; but all the first-born of my sons I redeem.

16 And it shall be as a token on your hand and as a memorial between your eyes; for by a strong hand the LORD brought you out of Egypt.

17 land it came to pass when Pharaoh had let the people go, God did not lead them by the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest the people be afraid when they see war, and return to Egypt:

18 所以神領百姓繞道而行，走紅海曠野的路。以色列人出埃及地，都頂盔貫甲［harnessed］上去。

18 But God led the people by the way of the wilderness by the Red Sea; and the children of Israel went up armed out of the land of Egypt.

19 摩西把約瑟的骸骨一同帶去；因為約瑟曾叫以色列人嚴嚴地起誓，對他們說：「神必眷顧你們，你們要把我的骸骨從這裏一同帶上去。」

19 And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him; for he had solemnly made the children of Israel to swear, saying, God will surely remember you; and you must carry up my bones from here with you.

20 他們從疏割起行，在曠野邊的以倘安營。

20 And they journeyed from Succoth and encamped at Etham, on the edge of the wilderness.

21 日間，耶和華在雲柱中領他們的路；夜間，在火柱中光照他們，使他們日夜都可以行走。

21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of cloud, to lead them on the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; so that they might travel by day and by night;

22 日間雲柱，夜間火柱，他總不收去，使柱［He took not away the pillar］離開百姓的面前。

22 The pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night never failed to go before the people.
