1 以色列族當曰、遇有仇敵、怒而攻予、如耶和華不加眷祐、則予早被生吞兮、

2 併於上節

3 併於上節

4 維彼誑言、有若武士之利鏃、堅木之〔艹+熱〕炭兮。

5 波濤澎湃、其勢洶湧、早已淹予兮

6 耶和華不我遐棄、致爲人吞噬、當頌讚靡已兮。

7 余若禽鳥、將罹網羅、惟羅見破、而予得脫兮、

8 耶和華創造大地、拯救我躬兮。

1 IF it had not been the LORD who stood on our side, now may Israel say,

2 If it had not been the LORD who stood on our side when men rose up against us,

3 Then would they have swallowed us alive when their wrath was kindled against us,

4 Then would they have drowned us in the waters, the stream would have gone over us;

5 Then the great waters would have gone over us.

6 Blessed be the LORD, who has not given us as a prey to their teeth.

7 Our soul has escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers; the snare is broken, and we are delivered.

8 Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
