Psalm 129

1 MY oppressors have been many from my youth, may Israel now say;

2 My oppressors have been many from my youth, yet they have not prevailed against me.

3 They have scourged me upon my back; they have made long their oppression.

4 The LORD is righteous; he will cut asunder the cord of the wicked.

5 Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.

6 Let them be as the grass upon the house tops, which pulls out and withers when the wind strikes it,

7 Wherewith the reaper fills not his hand, nor he who binds sheaves his bosom.

8 Neither do they who pass by say, The blessing of the LORD be upon you; we bless you in the name of the LORD.

1 Песнь восхождения. [1] Из глубин взываю я к Тебе, Господи.

2 Владыка, услышь мой голос, будь внимателен к моим молениям.

3 Если бы Ты, Господи, вел счет беззакониям, то, о Владыка, кто бы устоял?

4 Но у Тебя есть прощение; пусть боятся Тебя.

5 На Господа я надеюсь, надеется душа моя, и на слово Его уповаю.

6 Душа моя ждет Владыку более, чем стражи — утра, да, более, чем стражи — утра.

7 Да уповает Израиль на Господа, потому что у Господа — милость, и великое избавление — у Него.

8 Он избавит Израиль от всех его беззаконий.

2 Владыка, услышь мой голос, будь внимателен к моим молениям.
