3 And Moab4124 was sore afraid1481 3966 of4480 6440 the people,5971 because3588 they1931 were many:7227 and Moab4124 was distressed6973 because4480 6440 of the children1121 of Israel.3478

4 And Moab4124 said559 unto413 the elders2205 of Midian,4080 Now6258 shall this company6951 lick up3897 853 all3605 that are round about5439 us, as the ox7794 licketh up3897 853 the grass3418 of the field.7704 And Balak1111 the son1121 of Zippor6834 was king4428 of the Moabites4124 at that1931 time.6256

5 He sent7971 messengers4397 therefore unto413 Balaam1109 the son1121 of Beor1160 to Pethor,6604 which834 is by5921 the river5104 of the land776 of the children1121 of his people,5971 to call7121 him, saying,559 Behold,2009 there is a people5971 come out3318 from Egypt:4480 4714 behold,2009 they cover3680 853 the face5869 of the earth,776 and they1931 abide3427 over against4480 4136 me:

5 И послал7971 он послов4397 к Валааму,1109 сыну1121 Веорову,1160 в Пефор,6604 который на реке5104 Евфрате, в земле776 сынов1121 народа5971 его, чтобы позвать7121 его и сказать:559 вот, народ5971 вышел3318 из Египта4714 и покрыл3680 лице5869 земли,776 и живет3427 он подле4136 меня;

6 Come1980 now6258 therefore, I pray thee,4994 curse779 me853 this2088 people;5971 for3588 they1931 are too mighty for6099 4480 me: peradventure194 I shall prevail,3201 that we may smite5221 them, and that I may drive them out1644 of4480 the land:776 for3588 I know3045 853 that he whom834 thou blessest1288 is blessed,1288 and he whom834 thou cursest779 is cursed.779

6 итак приди,3212 прокляни779 мне народ5971 сей, ибо он сильнее6099 меня: может быть, я тогда буду3201 в состоянии3201 поразить5221 его и выгнать1644 его из земли;776 я знаю,3045 что кого ты благословишь,1288 тот благословен,1288 и кого ты проклянешь,779 тот проклят.779

7 And the elders2205 of Moab4124 and the elders2205 of Midian4080 departed1980 with the rewards of divination7081 in their hand;3027 and they came935 unto413 Balaam,1109 and spoke1696 unto413 him the words1697 of Balak.1111

7 И пошли3212 старейшины2205 Моавитские4124 и старейшины2205 Мадиамские,4080 с подарками7081 в руках3027 за волхвование,7081 и пришли935 к Валааму,1109 и пересказали1696 ему слова1697 Валаковы.1111
|

8 And he said559 unto413 them, Lodge3885 here6311 this night,3915 and I will bring7725 you word1697 again, as834 the LORD3068 shall speak1696 unto413 me: and the princes8269 of Moab4124 abode3427 with5973 Balaam.1109
|
8 И сказал559 он им: переночуйте3885 здесь ночь,3915 и дам7725 вам ответ,1697 как скажет1696 мне Господь.3068 И остались3427 старейшины8269 Моавитские4124 у Валаама.1109
|
|
9 And God430 came935 unto413 Balaam,1109 and said,559 What4310 men376 are these428 with5973 thee?
|
9 И пришел935 Бог430 к Валааму1109 и сказал:559 какие это люди582 у тебя?
|
|
10 And Balaam1109 said559 unto413 God,430 Balak1111 the son1121 of Zippor,6834 king4428 of Moab,4124 hath sent7971 unto413 me, saying,
|
10 Валаам1109 сказал559 Богу:430 Валак,1111 сын1121 Сепфоров,6834 царь4428 Моавитский,4124 прислал7971 их ко мне сказать:

11 Behold,2009 there is a people5971 come out3318 of Egypt,4480 4714 which covereth3680 853 the face5869 of the earth:776 come1980 now,6258 curse6895 me them; peradventure194 I shall be able3201 to overcome3898 them, and drive them out.1644

11 вот, народ5971 вышел3318 из Египта4714 и покрыл3680 лице5869 земли,776 итак приди,3212 прокляни6895 мне его; может быть я тогда буду3201 в состоянии3201 сразиться3898 с ним и выгнать1644 его.

12 And God430 said559 unto413 Balaam,1109 Thou shalt not3808 go1980 with5973 them; thou shalt not3808 curse779 853 the people:5971 for3588 they1931 are blessed.1288
|
12 И сказал559 Бог430 Валааму:1109 не ходи3212 с ними, не проклинай779 народа5971 сего, ибо он благословен.1288
|
|
13 And Balaam1109 rose up6965 in the morning,1242 and said559 unto413 the princes8269 of Balak,1111 Get1980 you into413 your land:776 for3588 the LORD3068 refuseth3985 to give me leave5414 to go1980 with5973 you.

13 И встал6965 Валаам1109 поутру1242 и сказал559 князьям8269 Валаковым:1111 пойдите3212 в землю776 вашу, ибо не3985 хочет3985 Господь3068 позволить5414 мне идти1980 с вами.
|
|
14 And the princes8269 of Moab4124 rose up,6965 and they went935 unto413 Balak,1111 and said,559 Balaam1109 refuseth3985 to come1980 with5973 us.
|
14 И встали6965 князья8269 Моавитские,4124 и пришли935 к Валаку,1111 и сказали559 ему: не3985 согласился3985 Валаам1109 идти1980 с нами.
|
|
15 And Balak1111 sent7971 yet5750 again3254 princes,8269 more,7227 and more honorable3513 than they.4480 428
|
15 Валак1111 послал7971 еще3254 князей,8269 более7227 и знаменитее3513 тех.
|
|
16 And they came935 to413 Balaam,1109 and said559 to him, Thus3541 saith559 Balak1111 the son1121 of Zippor,6834 Let nothing,408 I pray thee,4994 hinder4513 thee from coming4480 1980 unto413 me:

16 И пришли935 они к Валааму1109 и сказали559 ему: так говорит559 Валак,1111 сын1121 Сепфоров:6834 не4513 откажись4513 придти1980 ко мне;

17 For3588 I will promote thee unto very great honor,3513 3513 3966 and I will do6213 whatsoever3605 834 thou sayest559 unto413 me: come1980 therefore, I pray thee,4994 curse6895 me853 this2088 people.5971
|
17 я окажу3513 тебе великую3966 почесть3513 и сделаю6213 тебе все, что ни скажешь559 мне; приди3212 же, прокляни6895 мне народ5971 сей.
|
|
18 And Balaam1109 answered6030 and said559 unto413 the servants5650 of Balak,1111 If518 Balak1111 would give5414 me his house1004 full4393 of silver3701 and gold,2091 I cannot3201 3808 go beyond5674 853 the word6310 of the LORD3068 my God,430 to do6213 less6996 or176 more.1419

18 И отвечал6030 Валаам1109 и сказал559 рабам5650 Валаковым:1111 хотя бы Валак1111 давал5414 мне полный4393 свой дом1004 серебра3701 и золота,2091 не могу3201 преступить5674 повеления6310 Господа,3068 Бога430 моего, и сделать6213 что-либо малое6996 или великое1419 по своему произволу;

19 Now6258 therefore, I pray you,4994 tarry3427 ye859 also1571 here2088 this night,3915 that I may know3045 what4100 the LORD3068 will say1696 unto5973 me more.3254
|
19 впрочем, останьтесь3427 здесь и вы на ночь,3915 и я узнаю,3045 что еще3254 скажет1696 мне Господь.3068
|
|
20 And God430 came935 unto413 Balaam1109 at night,3915 and said559 unto him, If518 the men376 come935 to call7121 thee, rise up,6965 and go1980 with854 them; but yet389 853 the word1697 which834 I shall say1696 unto413 thee, that shalt thou do.6213
|
20 И пришел935 Бог430 к Валааму1109 ночью3915 и сказал559 ему: если люди582 сии пришли935 звать7121 тебя, встань,6965 пойди3212 с ними; но389 только делай6213 то, что1697 Я буду1696 говорить1696 тебе.
|
|
21 And Balaam1109 rose up6965 in the morning,1242 and saddled2280 853 his ass,860 and went1980 with5973 the princes8269 of Moab.4124
|
21 Валаам1109 встал6965 поутру,1242 оседлал2280 ослицу860 свою и пошел3212 с князьями8269 Моавитскими.4124
|
|
22 And God's430 anger639 was kindled2734 because3588 he1931 went:1980 and the angel4397 of the LORD3068 stood3320 in the way1870 for an adversary7854 against him. Now he1931 was riding7392 upon5921 his ass,860 and his two8147 servants5288 were with5973 him.
|
22 И воспылал2734 гнев639 Божий430 за то, что он пошел,1980 и стал3320 Ангел4397 Господень3068 на дороге,1870 чтобы воспрепятствовать7854 ему. Он ехал7392 на ослице860 своей и с ними двое8147 слуг5288 его.
|
|
23 And the ass860 saw7200 853 the angel4397 of the LORD3068 standing5324 in the way,1870 and his sword2719 drawn8025 in his hand:3027 and the ass860 turned aside5186 out of4480 the way,1870 and went1980 into the field:7704 and Balaam1109 smote5221 853 the ass,860 to turn5186 her into the way.1870

23 И увидела7200 ослица860 Ангела4397 Господня,3068 стоящего5324 на дороге1870 с обнаженным8025 мечом2719 в руке,3027 и своротила5186 ослица860 с дороги,1870 и пошла3212 на поле;7704 а Валаам1109 стал5221 бить5221 ослицу,860 чтобы возвратить5186 ее на дорогу.1870

24 But the angel4397 of the LORD3068 stood5975 in a path4934 of the vineyards,3754 a wall1447 being on this side,4480 2088 and a wall1447 on that side.4480 2088
|
24 И стал5975 Ангел4397 Господень3068 на узкой4934 дороге,4934 между виноградниками,3754 где с одной стороны стена1447 и с другой стороны стена.1447
|
|
25 And when the ass860 saw7200 853 the angel4397 of the LORD,3068 she thrust herself3905 unto413 the wall,7023 and crushed3905 853 Balaam's1109 foot7272 against413 the wall:7023 and he smote5221 her again.3254
|
25 Ослица,860 увидев7200 Ангела4397 Господня,3068 прижалась3905 к стене7023 и прижала3905 ногу7272 Валаамову1109 к стене;7023 и он опять3254 стал5221 бить5221 ее.
|
|
26 And the angel4397 of the LORD3068 went5674 further,3254 and stood5975 in a narrow6862 place,4725 where834 was no369 way1870 to turn5186 either to the right hand3225 or to the left.8040
|
26 Ангел4397 Господень3068 опять5674 перешел3254 и стал5975 в тесном6862 месте,4725 где некуда1870 своротить,5186 ни направо,3225 ни налево.8040
|
|
27 And when the ass860 saw7200 853 the angel4397 of the LORD,3068 she fell down7257 under8478 Balaam:1109 and Balaam's1109 anger639 was kindled,2734 and he smote5221 853 the ass860 with a staff.4731
|
27 Ослица,860 увидев7200 Ангела4397 Господня,3068 легла7257 под Валаамом.1109 И воспылал2734 гнев639 Валаама,1109 и стал5221 он бить5221 ослицу860 палкою.4731
|
|
28 And the LORD3068 opened6605 853 the mouth6310 of the ass,860 and she said559 unto Balaam,1109 What4100 have I done6213 unto thee, that3588 thou hast smitten5221 me these2088 three7969 times?7272
|
28 И отверз6605 Господь3068 уста6310 ослицы,860 и она сказала559 Валааму:1109 что я тебе сделала,6213 что ты бьешь5221 меня вот уже третий7969 раз?7272
|
|
29 And Balaam1109 said559 unto the ass,860 Because3588 thou hast mocked5953 me: I would3863 there were3426 a sword2719 in mine hand,3027 for3588 now6258 would I kill2026 thee.
|
29 Валаам1109 сказал559 ослице:860 за то, что ты поругалась5953 надо мною; если3863 бы у меня в руке3027 был3426 меч,2719 то я теперь же убил2026 бы тебя.
|
|
30 And the ass860 said559 unto413 Balaam,1109 Am not3808 I595 thine ass,860 upon5921 which834 thou hast ridden7392 ever since4480 5750 I was thine unto5704 this2088 day?3117 was I ever wont5532 5532 to do6213 so3541 unto thee? And he said,559 Nay.3808

30 Ослица860 же сказала559 Валааму:1109 не я ли твоя ослица,860 на которой ты ездил7392 сначала до сего дня?3117 имела5532 ли я привычку5532 так поступать6213 с тобою? Он сказал:559 нет.
|
|
31 Then the LORD3068 opened1540 853 the eyes5869 of Balaam,1109 and he saw7200 853 the angel4397 of the LORD3068 standing5324 in the way,1870 and his sword2719 drawn8025 in his hand:3027 and he bowed down his head,6915 and fell flat7812 on his face.639
|
31 И открыл1540 Господь3068 глаза5869 Валааму,1109 и увидел7200 он Ангела4397 Господня,3068 стоящего5324 на дороге1870 с обнаженным8025 мечом2719 в руке,3027 и преклонился,6915 и пал7812 на лице639 свое.
|
|
32 And the angel4397 of the LORD3068 said559 unto413 him, Wherefore5921 4100 hast thou smitten5221 853 thine ass860 these2088 three7969 times?7272 behold,2009 I595 went out3318 to withstand7854 thee, because3588 thy way1870 is perverse3399 before5048 me:
|
32 И сказал559 ему Ангел4397 Господень:3068 за что ты бил5221 ослицу860 твою вот уже три7969 раза?7272 Я вышел,3318 чтобы воспрепятствовать7854 тебе, потому что путь1870 твой не3399 прав3399 предо Мною;
|
|
33 And the ass860 saw7200 me, and turned5186 from6440 me these2088 three7969 times:7272 unless194 she had turned5186 from4480 6440 me, surely3588 now6258 also1571 I had slain2026 thee, and saved her alive.2421 853
|
33 и ослица,860 видев7200 Меня, своротила5186 от3942 Меня вот уже три7969 раза;7272 если194 бы она не своротила5186 от3942 Меня, то Я убил2026 бы тебя, а ее оставил2421 бы живою.2421

|
34 And Balaam1109 said559 unto413 the angel4397 of the LORD,3068 I have sinned;2398 for3588 I knew3045 not3808 that3588 thou859 stoodest5324 in the way1870 against7125 me: now6258 therefore, if518 it displease7489 5869 thee, I will get me back again.7725
|
34 И сказал559 Валаам1109 Ангелу4397 Господню:3068 согрешил2398 я, ибо не знал,3045 что Ты стоишь5324 против7125 меня на дороге;1870 итак, если это неприятно7489 в очах5869 Твоих, то я возвращусь.7725
|
|
35 And the angel4397 of the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Balaam,1109 Go1980 with5973 the men:376 but only657 853 the word1697 that834 I shall speak1696 unto413 thee, that thou shalt speak.1696 So Balaam1109 went1980 with5973 the princes8269 of Balak.1111
|
35 И сказал559 Ангел4397 Господень3068 Валааму:1109 пойди3212 с людьми582 сими, только657 говори1696 то, что1697 Я буду1696 говорить1696 тебе. И пошел3212 Валаам1109 с князьями8269 Валаковыми.1111
|
|
36 And when Balak1111 heard8085 that3588 Balaam1109 was come,935 he went out3318 to meet7125 him unto413 a city5892 of Moab,4124 which834 is in5921 the border1366 of Arnon,769 which834 is in the utmost7097 coast.1366
|
36 Валак,1111 услышав,8085 что идет935 Валаам,1109 вышел3318 навстречу7125 ему в город5892 Моавитский,4124 который на границе1366 при Арноне,769 что у самого7097 предела.1366
|
|
37 And Balak1111 said559 unto413 Balaam,1109 Did I not3808 earnestly send7971 7971 unto413 thee to call7121 thee? wherefore4100 camest1980 thou not3808 unto413 me? am I not able3201 3808 indeed552 to promote thee to honor?3513

37 И сказал559 Валак1111 Валааму:1109 не посылал7971 ли я к тебе, звать7121 тебя? почему ты не шел1980 ко мне? неужели я в самом552 деле552 не могу3201 почтить3513 тебя?
|
|
38 And Balaam1109 said559 unto413 Balak,1111 Lo,2009 I am come935 unto413 thee: have I now6258 any power at all3201 3201 to say1696 any thing?3972 the word1697 that834 God430 putteth7760 in my mouth,6310 that shall I speak.1696
|
38 И сказал559 Валаам1109 Валаку:1111 вот, я и пришел935 к тебе, но могу3201 ли я что3972 от себя сказать?1696 что1697 вложит7760 Бог430 в уста6310 мои, то и буду1696 говорить.1696
|
|
39 And Balaam1109 went1980 with5973 Balak,1111 and they came935 unto Kirjath-huzoth.7155
|
39 И пошел3212 Валаам1109 с Валаком1111 и пришли935 в Кириаф-Хуцоф.23517155
|
|
40 And Balak1111 offered2076 oxen1241 and sheep,6629 and sent7971 to Balaam,1109 and to the princes8269 that834 were with854 him.
|
40 И заколол2076 Валак1111 волов1241 и овец,6629 и послал7971 к Валааму1109 и князьям,8269 которые были с ним.
|
|
41 And it came to pass1961 on the morrow,1242 that Balak1111 took3947 853 Balaam,1109 and brought him up5927 into the high places1116 of Baal,1168 that thence4480 8033 he might see7200 the utmost7097 part of the people.5971

41 На другой день утром1242 Валак1111 взял3947 Валаама1109 и возвел5927 его на высоты1116 Вааловы,1120 чтобы он увидел7200 оттуда часть7097 народа.5971
