2 Спаси меня, о Боже, нахлынувшая вода достигла шеи.

3 Я погружаюсь в грязные глубины, где опереться не на что ноге, меня водоворотом в глубину затягивает беспощадно.

4 Зову на помощь, слабею я, и от крика кровоточит горло, болят глаза, отыскивая Бога.

5 Тех, кто меня без причины ненавидит, гораздо больше, чем волос на голове моей. И строят они планы, как жизнь мою разрушить, лживые слухи распространяют обо мне. В краже они меня обвиняют и требуют заплатить за то, что я не брал.

6 Тебе, Боже, мои известны все ошибки, свою вину не прячу от Тебя.

7 О, мой Владыка, Господь Израиля, не допусти, чтоб те, кто веруют в Тебя, из-за меня позором были все покрыты.

8 Ради Тебя унижение терплю, ради Тебя лицо моё бесчестием покрыто.

9 Я среди братьев стал чужим, словно иноземец из страны далёкой.

10 Меня съедает преданность храму Твоему, и ранит зло обидчиков Твоих.

11 Молюсь ли я, иль соблюдаю пост, меня за это тоже укоряют.

12 Я становлюсь посмешищем, когда одежды скорби надеваю.

13 Прилюдно злые мне оскорбления наносят. Во время пиршеств они смеются надо мной.

14 Прошу, услышь меня всякий раз, когда к Тебе с молитвой обращаюсь. С любовью превеликой, Боже, спасением ответь моей мольбе.

15 Избавь от грязи, утонуть не дай и от глубоких вод спаси, от ненавидящих меня убереги.

16 Не дай меня потопу унести, глубинам поглотить, сомкнуться могильной пасти надо мной.

17 Ответь мне, Господи, Твоей любовью доброй, и милосердием мне помощь окажи.

18 От слуги Своего Ты лица не прячь, ответь скорее, поскольку времена несчастий наступили.

19 Приди и мою душу упаси от неотступного врага.

20 Тебе известно, как я презираем, как обесчещен и опозорен я. Господь, Ты знаешь всех моих врагов.

21 Их насмешки мне причиняют боль и делают беспомощным меня. Искал я сострадания, но не нашёл, искал кого-нибудь, кто успокоит, но никого вокруг не видел я.

22 Враги в еду мне подложили яд и уксусом меня поили в жажде, не вином.

23 Их стол заставлен блюдами с едой, так пусть же их пиршества им ловушкой станут.

24 Пускай погаснут их глаза и никогда не будут видеть, пускай их спины сгорбятся навек.

25 Пролей на них Свой гнев, пусть они увидят Твою силу.

26 Да станет их земля пустыней, и опустеют все дома.

27 Они нападают на тех, кого Ты наказал, и всем рассказывают о страданиях, на которые Ты их обрёк.

28 Взыщи за все их преступления, не дай спасения Своего.

29 Из книги жизни пусть будут стёрты их имена, из списка праведных их вычеркни навек.

30 Мне горе причиняет боль, дай мне Твоё, Господь, спасение.

31 Имя Божье восхвалять я буду в песнях благодарных,

32 и это Господа обрадует намного более, чем вол иль бык, принесённый в жертву.

33 Узнав об этом, бедные воспрянут духом и Богу своему служить начнут.

34 Господь неимущих и беззащитных слышит, и узников не презирает Он.

35 Пусть небеса, земля и море, и всё, что в море, Ему хвалу поёт.
