2 Спаси меня, Боже, — в воде я по самую шею,

3 в глубокой трясине увяз, нет твердой почвы подо мною, попал я в глубокую воду, и волны вот-вот потопят меня.

4 Изнемог я от плача, воспалилось горло мое, все глаза просмотрел я, помощи от Бога моего ожидая.

5 Ненавидящих меня безо всякого повода больше, чем волос на моей голове; погубить меня хотят люди сильные, врагами мне стали они без всякой на то причины. Заставляют меня вернуть им то, на что я не посягал.

6 Боже, Ты знаешь, как неразумен я был, проступки мои от Тебя не сокрыты.

7 Никто из уповающих на Тебя, Господи, ГОСПОДЬ Воинств, да не будет из-за меня посрамлен; ищущие Тебя, Бог Израиля, да не будут опозорены по вине моей.

8 Ибо ради Тебя несу я бесчестие, и позором покрыто лицо мое.

9 Для братьев моих я стал чужим, посторонним — для сыновей матери моей,

10 ибо преданность Дому Твоему меня извела, и поношение злословящих Тебя пало на меня.

11 Когда я плакал и душу постом смирял, обернулось то для меня поношением.

12 Когда в рубище я оделся, для них стал притчею во языцех.

13 Толкуют обо мне сидящие у ворот, про меня пьяницы песни с издевкой поют.

14 Я же надеюсь, ГОСПОДИ, что взываю к Тебе во время Тебе благоугодное. По обилию любви Твоей неизменной, Боже, по верности Своей откликнись на мольбу мою спасением несомненным.

15 Вырви меня из этой топи, не дай утонуть! Да буду спасен я от ненавидящих меня, спасен из вод глубоких.

16 Не дай потоку водному меня поглотить и пучине меня засосать, пусть эта яма не закроет свой зев над моей головою.

17 Откликнись, ГОСПОДИ, ибо щедр Ты в любви Своей, в великом сострадании Своем обрати Свой взор на меня.

18 Не отвернись от раба Своего, поспеши ответить мне, ибо я в большой беде.

19 Приди ко мне и спаси, избавь от врагов, меня окруживших.

20 Ты знаешь оскорбления, которым я подвергаюсь, как поносят и бесчестят меня все враги мои перед Тобою.

21 Разбили сердце мое поношения, и я изнемог, надеялся на сочувствие, но нет его ни в ком, на утешителей — ни одного не нашлось.

22 Отраву дали мне в пищу и, когда жаждал я, уксусом напоили меня.

23 Пусть стол, накрытый пред ними, будет сетью для них и мнимая безопасность — ловушкой;

24 пусть глаза их померкнут, чтоб не видели они, и ноги их дрожать не перестанут.

25 Негодование Свое на них излей, гнев Твой пылающий да падет на них.

26 Стан их пусть опустеет, и в шатрах их не будет живущих,

27 ибо преследуют они людей, коих Ты наказываешь, и со злорадством говорят о страданиях тех, кого Ты изранил.

28 Пусть же у них одна вина приложится к другой и не придут они к оправдывающему дару праведности Твоей.

29 Изглажены пусть будут имена их из Книги жизни — не быть им записанными вместе с праведниками!

30 А я угнетен и страдаю, пусть же спасительная забота Твоя, Боже, сделает меня для врагов недосягаемым.

31 Я в песне буду славить имя Божие и возвеличивать Его в гимнах благодарности.

32 И будет это благоугоднее ГОСПОДУ, чем теленок или жертвенный бык, во всесожжение принесенный.

33 Увидят это смиренные и порадуются. И вы, ищущие Бога, ободритесь!

34 Внемлет ГОСПОДЬ тем, кто в нужде пребывает, и не забывает о пленных из народа Своего.

35 Да восхвалят Его небеса и земля, моря и всё в них живущее!
