2 But I will send7971 a fire784 upon Moab,4124 and it shall devour398 the palaces759 of Kerioth:7152 and Moab4124 shall die4191 with tumult,7588 with shouting,8643and with the sound6963 of the trumpet: 7782
3 And I will cut off3772 the judge8199 from the midst44807130 thereof, and will slay2026 all3605 the princes8269 thereof with5973 him, saith559 the LORD.3068

5 But I will send7971 a fire784 upon Judah,3063 and it shall devour398 the palaces759 of Jerusalem.3389
6 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD;3068 For5921 three7969 transgressions6588 of Israel,3478 and for5921 four,702 I will not3808 turn away7725the punishment thereof; because5921 they sold4376 the righteous6662 for silver,3701 and the poor34 for5668 a pair of shoes;5275
7 That pant7602 after5921 the dust6083 of the earth776 on the head7218 of the poor,1800 and turn aside5186 the way1870 of the meek:6035 and a man376 and his father1 will go in1980 unto413 the same maid,5291 to4616 profane2490853 my holy6944 name: 8034
8 And they lay themselves down5186 upon5921 clothes899 laid to pledge2254 by681 every3605 altar,4196 and they drink8354 the wine3196 of the condemned6064in the house1004 of their god.430
9 Yet destroyed8045 I595853 the Amorite567 before44806440 them, whose834 height1363was like the height1363 of the cedars,730 and he1931was strong2634 as the oaks;437 yet I destroyed8045 his fruit6529 from above,44804605 and his roots8328 from beneath.44808478
10 Also I595 brought you up5927853 from the land4480776 of Egypt,4714 and led1980 you forty705 years8141 through the wilderness,4057 to possess3423853 the land776 of the Amorite.567
11 And I raised up6965 of your sons44801121 for prophets,5030 and of your young men4480970 for Nazarites.5139Is it not369 even637 thus,2063 O ye children1121 of Israel?3478 saith5002 the LORD.3068
12 But ye gave853 the Nazarites5139 wine3196 to drink;8248 and commanded6680 the prophets,5030 saying,559 Prophesy5012 not.3808
13 Behold,2009 I595 am pressed5781 under8478 you, as834 a cart5699 is pressed5781that is full of4392 sheaves.5995
14 Therefore the flight4498 shall perish6 from the swift,44807031 and the strong2389 shall not3808 strengthen553 his force,3581 neither3808 shall the mighty1368 deliver4422 himself: 5315
15 Neither3808 shall he stand5975 that handleth8610 the bow;7198 and he that is swift7031 of foot7272 shall not3808 deliver4422himself: neither3808 shall he that rideth7392 the horse5483 deliver4422 himself.5315
16 And he that is courageous5333820 among the mighty1368 shall flee away5127 naked6174 in that1931 day,3117 saith5002 the LORD.3068

1 Так говорит Господь: «Я не пощажу и накажу народ Моава за многие преступления его. Он дотла сжёг тело царя Едома, огнём превратив его кости в известь.
2 Я пошлю огонь на Моав, и поглотит он высокие башни Кериофа, и умрёт Моав под звуки трубы и воинственные возгласы.
3 Я уничтожу царей Моава, а также убью всех чиновников этой страны». Так объявляет Господь.
4 Так говорит Господь: «Жители Иуды отвергли учения Господа и не подчинились Его законам. Их предки верили лжи, и эта ложь заставила народ Иудеи оставить Бога. И поэтому Я не пощажу и накажу жителей Иуды за многие преступления, совершённые ими.
5 Я пошлю огонь на Иуду и он поглотит высокие башни Иерусалима».
6 Так говорит Господь: «Я не пощажу и накажу жителей Израиля за многие преступления, совершённые ими. Потому что они за бесценок, как рабов продавали невинных людей, продавали бедняков по цене пары сандалий.
7 Они толкали бедный народ лицом в грязь и были несправедливы к угнетённым, а отцы и сыновья ходили к одной женщине. Народ Израиля обесчестил имя Моё.
8 Израильтяне сидели перед алтарями, постелив одежду, которую брали у бедных под залог, а также брали с людей штрафы и покупали на них вино, которое пили в храмах своих богов.
9 Я уничтожил народ аморреев у них на глазах, хотя и был он высок как кедр и силён как дуб. Я уничтожил его плоды сверху и корни снизу.
10 Я вывел вас из Египта и сорок лет водил по пустыне, а затем помог вам унаследовать Аморрейскую землю.
11 Из ваших сынов Я избрал пророков, а из ваших юношей — назореев. Израильтяне, Я вам правду говорю!» Так объявляет Господь:
12 «Но вы заставляли назореев нарушать их обеты, а пророкам велели не пророчествовать.
13 Вы для Меня словно тяжёлый груз. Вы придавили Меня, как давит телега, доверху нагруженная снопами.
14 Никому не удастся спастись: даже быстрый не убежит, и сильный не устоит, и храбрый воин не спасёт свою жизнь.
15 Не спасётся и тот, у кого есть лук и стрелы, не убежит и самый быстрый бегун, не спасёт свою жизнь и всадник на коне.
16 В тот день даже самые отважные воины будут убегать в такой спешке, что даже не успеют взять свою одежду». Так объявляет Господь.

14 Никому не удастся спастись: даже быстрый не убежит, и сильный не устоит, и храбрый воин не спасёт свою жизнь.

15 Не спасётся и тот, у кого есть лук и стрелы, не убежит и самый быстрый бегун, не спасёт свою жизнь и всадник на коне.

16 В тот день даже самые отважные воины будут убегать в такой спешке, что даже не успеют взять свою одежду». Так объявляет Господь.
