Psalm 73

1 A Psalm4210 of Asaph.623 Truly389 God430 is good2896 to Israel,3478 even to such as are of a clean1249 heart.3824

2 But as for me,589 my feet7272 were almost4592 gone;5186 my steps838 had well nigh369 slipped.8210

3 For3588 I was envious7065 at the foolish,1984 when I saw7200 the prosperity7965 of the wicked.7563

4 For3588 there are no369 bands2784 in their death:4194 but their strength193 is firm.1277

5 They are not369 in trouble5999 as other men;582 neither3808 are they plagued5060 like5973 other men.120

6 Therefore3651 pride1346 compasseth them about as a chain;6059 violence2555 covereth5848 them as a garment.7897

7 Their eyes5869 stand out3318 with fatness:4480 2459 they have more5674 than heart3824 could wish.4906

8 They are corrupt,4167 and speak1696 wickedly7451 concerning oppression:6233 they speak1696 loftily.4480 4791

12 Behold,2009 these428 are the ungodly,7563 who prosper7961 in the world;5769 they increase7685 in riches.2428

13 Verily389 I have cleansed2135 my heart3824 in vain,7385 and washed7364 my hands3709 in innocency.5356

14 For all3605 the day3117 long have I been1961 plagued,5060 and chastened8433 every morning.1242

15 If518 I say,559 I will speak5608 thus;3644 behold,2009 I should offend898 against the generation1755 of thy children.1121

26 My flesh7607 and my heart3824 faileth:3615 but God430 is the strength6697 of my heart,3824 and my portion2506 forever.5769

27 For,3588 lo,2009 they that are far7369 from thee shall perish:6 thou hast destroyed6789 all3605 them that go a whoring2181 from4480 thee.

1 Учение Асафа. Почто негодуешь на нас, Боже, долго; дымится гнев Твой на овец паствы Твоей?

2 Вспомни о Твоем сонме, который Ты приобрел издревле, искупил для Себя в наследственную державу, о горе Сионе, на которой Ты поселился.

3 Подвигни стопы Твои на вековые развалины: все разрушил враг во святилище.

4 Рыкают враги Твои на месте собраний Твоих, свои обряды ставят на место наших обрядов.

5 Видишь, они подобны поднимающему секиру на сплетшиеся ветви дерева.

6 Все изваяния в оном разбили секирами и бердышами.

7 Предали огню святилище Твое; на землю низринув, осквернили жилище имени Твоего.

8 Сказали в сердце своем: разорим их совсем. Сожгли все места собраний Божиих на земле.

9 Обрядов наших мы не видим, нет уже пророка, и нет у нас знающего, долго ли сие будет.

10 Доколе, Боже, ругаться будет притеснитель? вечно ли врагу пренебрегать имя Твое?

11 Почто удерживаешь руку Твою и десницу Твою? Простри из недра Твоего, и истреби их.

12 Боже, Царь мой, издревле творящий спасение сердца земли!

13 Ты силою Твоею расторгнул море, сокрушил головы водяных чудовищ.

14 Ты раздробил голову крокодила, отдал его на снедение обитателям пустыни.

15 Ты иссек источник и поток, Ты иссушил неиссякающие реки.

16 Твой день и ночь Твоя, Ты поставил светила и солнце.

17 Ты утвердил все пределы земли, лето и зиму Ты учредил.

18 Вспомни сие, враг ругается Господу, народ безумный пренебрегает имя Твое.

19 Не отдай зверям душу горлицы Твоей, не забудь стада страдальцев Твоих навсегда.

20 Воззри на завет: ибо все ущелия земли наполнены жилищами злодейства.

21 Притесненный да не возвратится с посрамлением, страждущий и бедный да восхвалят имя Твое.

22 Восстань, Боже, защити Твое дело, вспомни, как ежедневно Тебе ругается безумный!

23 Не забудь буйства врагов Твоих, и непрестанно подъемлемого вопля восстающих на Тебя!
