Chapter 19

1 In the third7992 month,2320 when the children1121 of Israel3478 were gone forth3318 out of the land4480 776 of Egypt,4714 the same2088 day3117 came935 they into the wilderness4057 of Sinai.5514

2 For they were departed5265 from Rephidim,4480 7508 and were come935 to the desert4057 of Sinai,5514 and had pitched2583 in the wilderness;4057 and there8033 Israel3478 camped2583 before5048 the mount.2022

3 And Moses4872 went up5927 unto413 God,430 and the LORD3068 called7121 unto413 him out of4480 the mountain,2022 saying,559 Thus3541 shalt thou say559 to the house1004 of Jacob,3290 and tell5046 the children1121 of Israel;3478

4 Ye859 have seen7200 what834 I did6213 unto the Egyptians,4714 and how I bore5375 you on5921 eagles'5404 wings,3671 and brought935 you unto413 myself.

5 Now6258 therefore, if518 ye will obey my voice indeed,8085 8085 6963 and keep8104 853 my covenant,1285 then ye shall be1961 a peculiar treasure5459 unto me above all4480 3605 people:5971 for3588 all3605 the earth776 is mine:

6 And ye859 shall be1961 unto me a kingdom4467 of priests,3548 and a holy6918 nation.1471 These428 are the words1697 which834 thou shalt speak1696 unto413 the children1121 of Israel.3478

7 And Moses4872 came935 and called7121 for the elders2205 of the people,5971 and laid7760 before their faces6440 853 all3605 these428 words1697 which834 the LORD3068 commanded6680 him.

8 And all3605 the people5971 answered6030 together,3162 and said,559 All3605 that834 the LORD3068 hath spoken1696 we will do.6213 And Moses4872 returned7725 853 the words1697 of the people5971 unto413 the LORD.3068

9 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Moses,4872 Lo,2009 I595 come935 unto413 thee in a thick5645 cloud,6051 that5668 the people5971 may hear8085 when I speak1696 with5973 thee, and believe539 thee forever.5769 And Moses4872 told5046 853 the words1697 of the people5971 unto413 the LORD.3068

10 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Moses,4872 Go1980 unto413 the people,5971 and sanctify6942 them today3117 and tomorrow,4279 and let them wash3526 their clothes,8071

11 And be1961 ready3559 against the third7992 day:3117 for3588 the third7992 day3117 the LORD3068 will come down3381 in the sight5869 of all3605 the people5971 upon5921 mount2022 Sinai.5514

12 And thou shalt set bounds1379 853 unto the people5971 round about,5439 saying,559 Take heed8104 to yourselves, that ye go not up5927 into the mount,2022 or touch5060 the border7097 of it: whosoever3605 toucheth5060 the mount2022 shall be surely put to death:4191 4191

13 There shall not3808 a hand3027 touch5060 it, but3588 he shall surely be stoned,5619 5619 or176 shot through;3384 3384 whether518 it be beast929 or518 man,376 it shall not3808 live:2421 when the trumpet3104 soundeth long,4900 they1992 shall come up5927 to the mount.2022

14 And Moses4872 went down3381 from4480 the mount2022 unto413 the people,5971 and sanctified6942 853 the people;5971 and they washed3526 their clothes.8071

15 And he said559 unto413 the people,5971 Be1961 ready3559 against the third7969 day:3117 come5066 not408 at413 your wives.802

16 And it came to pass1961 on the third7992 day3117 in the morning,1242 that there were1961 thunders6963 and lightnings,1300 and a thick3515 cloud6051 upon5921 the mount,2022 and the voice6963 of the trumpet7782 exceeding3966 loud;2389 so that all3605 the people5971 that834 was in the camp4264 trembled.2729

17 And Moses4872 brought forth3318 853 the people5971 out of4480 the camp4264 to meet7125 with God;430 and they stood3320 at the nether part8482 of the mount.2022

18 And mount2022 Sinai5514 was altogether3605 on a smoke,6225 because4480 6440 834 the LORD3068 descended3381 upon5921 it in fire:784 and the smoke6227 thereof ascended5927 as the smoke6227 of a furnace,3536 and the whole3605 mount2022 quaked2729 greatly.3966

19 And when1961 the voice6963 of the trumpet7782 sounded long,1980 and waxed louder and louder,2388 3966 Moses4872 spoke,1696 and God430 answered6030 him by a voice.6963

20 And the LORD3068 came down3381 upon5921 mount2022 Sinai,5514 on413 the top7218 of the mount:2022 and the LORD3068 called7121 Moses4872 up to413 the top7218 of the mount;2022 and Moses4872 went up.5927

21 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Moses,4872 Go down,3381 charge5749 the people,5971 lest6435 they break through2040 unto413 the LORD3068 to gaze,7200 and many7227 of4480 them perish.5307

22 And let the priests3548 also,1571 which come near5066 to413 the LORD,3068 sanctify themselves,6942 lest6435 the LORD3068 break forth6555 upon them.

23 And Moses4872 said559 unto413 the LORD,3068 The people5971 cannot3808 3201 come up5927 to413 mount2022 Sinai:5514 for3588 thou859 chargedst5749 us, saying,559 Set bounds1379 853 about the mount,2022 and sanctify6942 it.

24 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 him, Away,1980 get thee down,3381 and thou shalt come up,5927 thou,859 and Aaron175 with5973 thee: but let not408 the priests3548 and the people5971 break through2040 to come up5927 unto413 the LORD,3068 lest6435 he break forth6555 upon them.

25 So Moses4872 went down3381 unto413 the people,5971 and spoke559 unto413 them.

1 В третий месяц по исшествии сынов Израиля из земли Египетской, в самый день новолуния, пришли они в пустыню Синайскую.

2 Отправившись из Рефидима, пришли в пустыню Синайскую, и расположились станом в пустыне; и поставил там Израиль стан против горы.

3 Моисей взошел к Богу, и Иегова воззвал к нему с горы, говоря: так скажи дому Иаковлеву и возвести сынам Израилевым:

4 Вы видели, что Я сделал Египтянам; и как Я поднял вас на орлиных крыльях и принес вас к Себе.

5 Итак, если вы будете слушать гласа Моего, и соблюдать завет Мой, то будете Моею драгоценностию из всех народов; ибо вся земля Моя.

6 Вы будете у Меня царством священников и народом святым. Вот слова, которые ты скажешь сынам Израилевым.

7 Моисей пришел и созвал старейшин народа, и предложил им все сии слова, которые заповедал ему Иегова.

8 Весь народ отвечал единогласно, говоря: все, что сказал Иегова, исполним. И донес Моисей слова народа Иегове.

9 Иегова сказал Моисею: вот, Я приду к тебе в густом облаке, дабы слышал народ, как Я буду говорить с тобою, и поверил тебе навсегда. Моисей опять донес слова народа Иегове.

10 И сказал Иегова Моисею: пойди к народу, и освяти его сегодня и завтра; пусть вымоют одежду свою,

11 И будут готовы к третьему дню: ибо в третий день Иегова пред очами всего народа сойдет на гору Синай.

12 И положи для народа черту со всех сторон, и скажи: берегитесь восходить на гору, и прикасаться к подошве ее; всякий, кто прикоснется к горе, предан будет смерти.

13 Рука не прикоснется к нему, а побьют его камнями, или застрелят стрелами; скот ли то, или человек, не останется в живых. Во время протяжного трубного звука могут они взойти на гору.

14 Моисей сошел с горы к народу, и освятил народ, и они вымыли одежду свою.

15 И сказал народу: будьте готовы к третьему дню: не прикасайтесь к женам.

16 На третий день, при наступлении утра, были громы, молнии, густое облако над горою, и трубный звук, весьма сильный, и вострепетал весь народ, бывший в стане.

17 И вывел Моисей народ из стана в сретение Богу, и стали у подошвы горы.

18 Гора же Синай вся дымилась от того, что Иегова сошел на нее в огне; от нее восходил дым, как дым печи, и вся гора сильно колебалась.

19 Глас трубный усиливался более и более. Моисей говорил, а Бог ответствовал ему гласом.

20 И сошел Иегова на гору Синай, на вершину горы, и призвал Иегова Моисея на вершину горы, и взошел Моисей.

21 И сказал Иегова Моисею: сойди, подтверди народу, чтобы он не порывался к Иегове, дабы видеть; иначе падут многие из него.

22 Самые священники, приближающиеся к Иегове, должны освятить себя, чтобы не поразил их Иегова.

23 И сказал Моисей Иегове: не может народ взойти на гору Синай; потому что Ты приказал нам, говоря: положи черту вокруг горы, и освяти ее.

24 И сказал ему Иегова: поди, сойди; потом взойди ты и с тобою Аарон; а священники и народ да не дерзают восходить к Иегове, чтобы не поразил их.

25 Моисей сошел к народу и пересказал ему.

2 Отправившись из Рефидима, пришли в пустыню Синайскую, и расположились станом в пустыне; и поставил там Израиль стан против горы.

3 And Moses4872 went up5927 unto413 God,430 and the LORD3068 called7121 unto413 him out of4480 the mountain,2022 saying,559 Thus3541 shalt thou say559 to the house1004 of Jacob,3290 and tell5046 the children1121 of Israel;3478

3 Моисей взошел к Богу, и Иегова воззвал к нему с горы, говоря: так скажи дому Иаковлеву и возвести сынам Израилевым:

4 Ye859 have seen7200 what834 I did6213 unto the Egyptians,4714 and how I bore5375 you on5921 eagles'5404 wings,3671 and brought935 you unto413 myself.

4 Вы видели, что Я сделал Египтянам; и как Я поднял вас на орлиных крыльях и принес вас к Себе.

5 Итак, если вы будете слушать гласа Моего, и соблюдать завет Мой, то будете Моею драгоценностию из всех народов; ибо вся земля Моя.

6 And ye859 shall be1961 unto me a kingdom4467 of priests,3548 and a holy6918 nation.1471 These428 are the words1697 which834 thou shalt speak1696 unto413 the children1121 of Israel.3478

6 Вы будете у Меня царством священников и народом святым. Вот слова, которые ты скажешь сынам Израилевым.

7 And Moses4872 came935 and called7121 for the elders2205 of the people,5971 and laid7760 before their faces6440 853 all3605 these428 words1697 which834 the LORD3068 commanded6680 him.

7 Моисей пришел и созвал старейшин народа, и предложил им все сии слова, которые заповедал ему Иегова.

8 And all3605 the people5971 answered6030 together,3162 and said,559 All3605 that834 the LORD3068 hath spoken1696 we will do.6213 And Moses4872 returned7725 853 the words1697 of the people5971 unto413 the LORD.3068

8 Весь народ отвечал единогласно, говоря: все, что сказал Иегова, исполним. И донес Моисей слова народа Иегове.

9 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Moses,4872 Lo,2009 I595 come935 unto413 thee in a thick5645 cloud,6051 that5668 the people5971 may hear8085 when I speak1696 with5973 thee, and believe539 thee forever.5769 And Moses4872 told5046 853 the words1697 of the people5971 unto413 the LORD.3068

9 Иегова сказал Моисею: вот, Я приду к тебе в густом облаке, дабы слышал народ, как Я буду говорить с тобою, и поверил тебе навсегда. Моисей опять донес слова народа Иегове.

10 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Moses,4872 Go1980 unto413 the people,5971 and sanctify6942 them today3117 and tomorrow,4279 and let them wash3526 their clothes,8071

10 И сказал Иегова Моисею: пойди к народу, и освяти его сегодня и завтра; пусть вымоют одежду свою,

11 And be1961 ready3559 against the third7992 day:3117 for3588 the third7992 day3117 the LORD3068 will come down3381 in the sight5869 of all3605 the people5971 upon5921 mount2022 Sinai.5514

11 И будут готовы к третьему дню: ибо в третий день Иегова пред очами всего народа сойдет на гору Синай.

12 And thou shalt set bounds1379 853 unto the people5971 round about,5439 saying,559 Take heed8104 to yourselves, that ye go not up5927 into the mount,2022 or touch5060 the border7097 of it: whosoever3605 toucheth5060 the mount2022 shall be surely put to death:4191 4191

12 И положи для народа черту со всех сторон, и скажи: берегитесь восходить на гору, и прикасаться к подошве ее; всякий, кто прикоснется к горе, предан будет смерти.

13 Рука не прикоснется к нему, а побьют его камнями, или застрелят стрелами; скот ли то, или человек, не останется в живых. Во время протяжного трубного звука могут они взойти на гору.

14 And Moses4872 went down3381 from4480 the mount2022 unto413 the people,5971 and sanctified6942 853 the people;5971 and they washed3526 their clothes.8071

14 Моисей сошел с горы к народу, и освятил народ, и они вымыли одежду свою.

15 And he said559 unto413 the people,5971 Be1961 ready3559 against the third7969 day:3117 come5066 not408 at413 your wives.802

15 И сказал народу: будьте готовы к третьему дню: не прикасайтесь к женам.

16 На третий день, при наступлении утра, были громы, молнии, густое облако над горою, и трубный звук, весьма сильный, и вострепетал весь народ, бывший в стане.

17 And Moses4872 brought forth3318 853 the people5971 out of4480 the camp4264 to meet7125 with God;430 and they stood3320 at the nether part8482 of the mount.2022

17 И вывел Моисей народ из стана в сретение Богу, и стали у подошвы горы.

18 Гора же Синай вся дымилась от того, что Иегова сошел на нее в огне; от нее восходил дым, как дым печи, и вся гора сильно колебалась.

19 Глас трубный усиливался более и более. Моисей говорил, а Бог ответствовал ему гласом.

20 And the LORD3068 came down3381 upon5921 mount2022 Sinai,5514 on413 the top7218 of the mount:2022 and the LORD3068 called7121 Moses4872 up to413 the top7218 of the mount;2022 and Moses4872 went up.5927

20 И сошел Иегова на гору Синай, на вершину горы, и призвал Иегова Моисея на вершину горы, и взошел Моисей.

21 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Moses,4872 Go down,3381 charge5749 the people,5971 lest6435 they break through2040 unto413 the LORD3068 to gaze,7200 and many7227 of4480 them perish.5307

21 И сказал Иегова Моисею: сойди, подтверди народу, чтобы он не порывался к Иегове, дабы видеть; иначе падут многие из него.

22 Самые священники, приближающиеся к Иегове, должны освятить себя, чтобы не поразил их Иегова.

23 And Moses4872 said559 unto413 the LORD,3068 The people5971 cannot3808 3201 come up5927 to413 mount2022 Sinai:5514 for3588 thou859 chargedst5749 us, saying,559 Set bounds1379 853 about the mount,2022 and sanctify6942 it.

23 И сказал Моисей Иегове: не может народ взойти на гору Синай; потому что Ты приказал нам, говоря: положи черту вокруг горы, и освяти ее.

24 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 him, Away,1980 get thee down,3381 and thou shalt come up,5927 thou,859 and Aaron175 with5973 thee: but let not408 the priests3548 and the people5971 break through2040 to come up5927 unto413 the LORD,3068 lest6435 he break forth6555 upon them.

24 И сказал ему Иегова: поди, сойди; потом взойди ты и с тобою Аарон; а священники и народ да не дерзают восходить к Иегове, чтобы не поразил их.

25 So Moses4872 went down3381 unto413 the people,5971 and spoke559 unto413 them.

25 Моисей сошел к народу и пересказал ему.
