2 If3588 thou buy7069 a Hebrew5680 servant,5650 six8337 years8141 he shall serve:5647 and in the seventh7637 he shall go out3318 free2670 for nothing.2600

3 If518 he came in935 by himself,1610 he shall go out3318 by himself:1610 if518 he1931 were married,1167 802 then his wife802 shall go out3318 with5973 him.

4 If518 his master113 have given5414 him a wife,802 and she have born3205 him sons1121 or176 daughters;1323 the wife802 and her children3206 shall be1961 her master's,113 and he1931 shall go out3318 by himself.1610

5 And if518 the servant5650 shall plainly say,559 559 I love157 853 my master,113 853 my wife,802 and my children;1121 I will not3808 go out3318 free: 2670

6 Then his master113 shall bring5066 him unto413 the judges;430 he shall also bring5066 him to413 the door,1817 or176 unto413 the door post;4201 and his master113 shall bore his ear through7527 853 241 with an awl;4836 and he shall serve5647 him forever.5769

7 And if3588 a man376 sell4376 853 his daughter1323 to be a maidservant,519 she shall not3808 go out3318 as the menservants5650 do.3318

8 If518 she please not7451 5869 her master,113 who834 hath betrothed3808 3259 her to himself, then shall he let her be redeemed:6299 to sell4376 her unto a strange5237 nation5971 he shall have no3808 power,4910 seeing he hath dealt deceitfully898 with her.

9 And if518 he have betrothed3259 her unto his son,1121 he shall deal6213 with her after the manner4941 of daughters.1323

10 If518 he take3947 him another312 wife; her food,7607 her raiment,3682 and her duty of marriage,5772 shall he not3808 diminish.1639

11 And if518 he do6213 not3808 these428 three7969 unto her, then shall she go out3318 free2600 without369 money.3701

12 He that smiteth5221 a man,376 so that he die,4191 shall be surely put to death.4191 4191

13 And if834 a man lie not in wait,6658 3808 but God430 deliver579 him into his hand;3027 then I will appoint7760 thee a place4725 whither834 8033 he shall flee.5127

14 But if3588 a man376 come presumptuously2102 upon5921 his neighbor,7453 to slay2026 him with guile;6195 thou shalt take3947 him from4480 5973 mine altar,4196 that he may die.4191

15 And he that smiteth5221 his father,1 or his mother,517 shall be surely put to death.4191 4191

16 And he that stealeth1589 a man,376 and selleth4376 him, or if he be found4672 in his hand,3027 he shall surely be put to death.4191 4191

17 And he that curseth7043 his father,1 or his mother,517 shall surely be put to death.4191 4191

18 And if3588 men376 strive together,7378 and one376 smite5221 853 another7453 with a stone,68 or176 with his fist,106 and he die4191 not,3808 but keepeth5307 his bed: 4904

19 If518 he rise again,6965 and walk1980 abroad2351 upon5921 his staff,4938 then shall he that smote5221 him be quit:5352 only7535 he shall pay5414 for the loss of his time,7674 and shall cause him to be thoroughly healed.7495 7495

20 And if3588 a man376 smite5221 853 his servant,5650 or176 853 his maid,519 with a rod,7626 and he die4191 under8478 his hand;3027 he shall be surely punished.5358 5358

21 Notwithstanding,389 if518 he continue5975 a day3117 or176 two,3117 he shall not3808 be punished:5358 for3588 he1931 is his money.3701

22 If3588 men376 strive,5327 and hurt5062 a woman802 with child,2030 so that her fruit3206 depart3318 from her, and yet no3808 mischief611 follow:1961 he shall be surely punished,6064 6064 according as834 the woman's802 husband1167 will lay7896 upon5921 him; and he shall pay5414 as the judges6414 determine.

23 And if518 any mischief611 follow,1961 then thou shalt give5414 life5315 for8478 life,5315

26 And if3588 a man376 smite5221 853 the eye5869 of his servant,5650 or176 853 the eye5869 of his maid,519 that it perish;7843 he shall let him go7971 free2670 for his eye's sake.8478 5869

27 And if518 he smite out5307 his manservant's5650 tooth,8127 or176 his maidservant's519 tooth;8127 he shall let him go7971 free2670 for his tooth's sake.8478 8127

28 If3588 an ox7794 gore5055 853 a man376 or176 853 a woman,802 that they die:4191 then the ox7794 shall be surely stoned,5619 5619 and853 his flesh1320 shall not3808 be eaten;398 but the owner1167 of the ox7794 shall be quit.5355

29 But if518 the ox7794 were wont to push with his horn5056 in time past,4480 8543 8032 and it hath been testified5749 to his owner,1167 and he hath not3808 kept him in,8104 but that he hath killed4191 a man376 or176 a woman;802 the ox7794 shall be stoned,5619 and his owner1167 also1571 shall be put to death.4191

30 If518 there be laid7896 on5921 him a sum of money,3724 then he shall give5414 for the ransom6306 of his life5315 whatsoever3605 834 is laid7896 upon5921 him.

31 Whether176 he have gored5055 a son,1121 or176 have gored5055 a daughter,1323 according to this2088 judgment4941 shall it be done6213 unto him.

32 If518 the ox7794 shall push5055 a manservant5650 or176 a maidservant;519 he shall give5414 unto their master113 thirty7970 shekels8255 of silver,3701 and the ox7794 shall be stoned.5619

33 And if3588 a man376 shall open6605 a pit,953 or176 if3588 a man376 shall dig3738 a pit,953 and not3808 cover3680 it, and an ox7794 or176 an ass2543 fall5307 therein;8033

34 The owner1167 of the pit953 shall make it good,7999 and give7725 money3701 unto the owner1167 of them; and the dead4191 beast shall be1961 his.

35 And if3588 one man's376 ox7794 hurt5062 853 another's,7794 7453 that he die;4191 then they shall sell4376 853 the live2416 ox,7794 and divide2673 853 the money3701 of it; and853 the dead4191 ox also1571 they shall divide.2673

36 Or176 if it be known3045 that3588 the ox7794 hath used to push5056 in time past,4480 8543 8032 and his owner1167 hath not3808 kept him in;8104 he shall surely pay7999 7999 ox7794 for8478 ox;7794 and the dead4191 shall be1961 his own.
