Kapitel 33

3 ins Land776, da Milch2461 und Honig1706 innen fleußt. Ich will nicht mit7130 dir3615 hinaufziehen5927; denn du bist ein halsstarrig6203 Volk5971. Ich möchte dich unterwegen auffressen.

4 Da das8085 Volk5971 diese böse7451 Rede1697 hörete, trugen sie7896 Leide, und niemand376 trug56 seinen Schmuck5716 an ihm.

7 Mose4872 aber nahm3947 die Hütte168 und3318 schlug sie auf5186, außen ferne7368 vor2351 dem Lager4264, und hieß7121 sie eine Hütte168 des Stifts4150. Und wer den HErrn3068 fragen wollte1245, mußte herausgehen zur Hütte168 des Stifts4150 vor2351 das Lager4264.

11 Der HErr3068 aber redete1696 mit Mose4872 von6440 Angesicht6440 zu Angesicht, wie ein Mann376 mit seinem Freunde7453 redet1696. Und wenn er wiederkehrete zum Lager4264, so wich4185 sein7725 Diener8334 Josua3091, der Sohn1121 Nuns5126, der Jüngling5288, nicht aus8432 der Hütte168.

12 Und Mose4872 sprach559 zu dem HErrn3068: Siehe7200, du559 sprichst zu mir: Führe das Volk5971 hinauf5927, und lässest mich nicht wissen3045, wen du mit mir senden7971 willst, so du doch gesagt559 hast4672: Ich kenne3045 dich mit Namen8034, und hast Gnade2580 vor meinen Augen5869 funden.

13 Habe ich denn Gnade2580 vor deinen Augen5869 funden, so laß4672 mich deinen Weg1870 wissen3045, damit ich dich kenne3045 und Gnade2580 vor deinen Augen5869 finde4672. Und siehe7200 doch, daß dies Volk1471 dein Volk5971 ist.

14 Er sprach559: Mein Angesicht6440 soll gehen3212, damit will ich dich leiten5117.

15 Er aber sprach559 zu ihm: Wo nicht dein Angesicht gehet1980, so führe uns nicht von6440 dannen hinauf5927.

16 Denn645 wobei soll doch erkannt werden3212, daß ich und dein Volk5971 vor deinen Augen5869 Gnade2580 funden haben3045, ohne wenn du mit uns gehest? auf6440 daß ich und dein Volk5971 gerühmet werden6395 vor allem Volk5971, das auf dem Erdboden127 ist4672.

17 Der HErr3068 sprach559 zu Mose4872: Was du jetzt geredet hast1697, will ich auch tun6213: denn du hast1696 Gnade2580 vor meinen Augen5869 funden, und ich kenne3045 dich mit Namen8034.

18 Er aber sprach559: So laß4994 mich deine Herrlichkeit3519 sehen7200.

19 Und er sprach559: Ich will vor deinem Angesicht her alle meine Güte2898 gehen5674 lassen7121 und will lassen predigen des HErrn3068 Namen8034 vor dir. Wem ich aber gnädig2603 bin, dem bin ich gnädig2603; und wes ich mich6440 erbarme7355, des erbarme7355 ich mich.

20 Und sprach559 weiter: Mein Angesicht kannst3201 du7200 nicht sehen7200; denn kein Mensch120 wird leben2425, der mich6440 siehet.

21 Und der HErr3068 sprach559 weiter: Siehe, es ist ein Raum bei mir, da4725 sollst du auf dem Fels6697 stehen5324.

22 Wenn denn nun meine Herrlichkeit3519 vorübergehet, will ich dich in5674 der Felskluft6697 lassen stehen7760, und meine Hand3709 soll ob dir halten5526, bis5704 ich vorübergehe.

23 Und wenn ich meine Hand3709 von dir tue5493, wirst du7200 mir6440 hinten268 nachsehen; aber mein Angesicht kann man nicht sehen7200.

1 AND the LORD said to Moses, Depart, and go up hence, you and the people whom you have brought up out of the land of Egypt, to the land which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, To your descendants will I give it;

2 And I will send an angel before you; and he will destroy the Canaanites, the Amorites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites;

3 Go to a land flowing with milk and honey; for I will not go up among you; for you are a stiff-necked people; lest I consume you on the way.

4 And when the people heard this bad news, they mourned; and no man did put on him his armor.

5 Then the LORD said to Moses, Say to the children of Israel, You are a stiff-necked people; I will come up among you in a moment, and consume you; therefore now put off your armor from you, that I may know what to do to you.

6 And the children of Israel stripped themselves of their armor by mount Horeb.

7 And Moses took his tent and pitched it outside the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass that every one who sought to inquire of the LORD went out to the tabernacle of the congregation, which was outside the camp.

8 And it came to pass when Moses went out to the tabernacle that all the people rose up and stood every man at his tent door and looked after Moses until he entered the tabernacle.

9 And it came to pass as Moses entered into the tabernacle the pillar of cloud descended and stood at the door of the tabernacle and the LORD talked with Moses.

10 And all the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the door of the tabernacle; and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door.

11 And the LORD spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. And he returned to the camp; but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not from the tabernacle.

12 And Moses said to the LORD, See, thou sayest to me, Bring up this people; and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know you by name, and thou hast also found favor in my sight.

13 Now therefore, if I have found favor in thy sight, show me now the way that I may know thee, that I may find favor in thy sight; and consider that this thy people is a great nation.

14 And the LORD said to Moses, Go ahead of me, and I will give you rest.

15 And he said to him, If thou thyself will not go with us, let us not leave this place.

16 For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found mercy in thy sight? Is it not in that thou goest with us? So that we be distinguished, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.

17 And the LORD said to Moses, I will do this thing also that you have spoken; for you have found grace in my sight, and I know you by your name.

18 And Moses said, Show me thy glory.

19 And he said. I will make all my goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before you; and I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.

20 And he said, You cannot see my face; for no man can see me and live.

21 And the LORD said to Moses, Behold, there is a place in front of me, and you shall stand upon the rock;

22 And it shall come to pass when my glory passes by that I will put you in a cave of the rock and will rest my hand upon you till I pass by;

23 And I will take away my hand, and you shall see my back; but my face shall not be seen.

9 And it came to pass as Moses entered into the tabernacle the pillar of cloud descended and stood at the door of the tabernacle and the LORD talked with Moses.

10 And all the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the door of the tabernacle; and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door.

11 And the LORD spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. And he returned to the camp; but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not from the tabernacle.

12 And Moses said to the LORD, See, thou sayest to me, Bring up this people; and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know you by name, and thou hast also found favor in my sight.

13 Habe ich denn Gnade2580 vor deinen Augen5869 funden, so laß4672 mich deinen Weg1870 wissen3045, damit ich dich kenne3045 und Gnade2580 vor deinen Augen5869 finde4672. Und siehe7200 doch, daß dies Volk1471 dein Volk5971 ist.

13 Now therefore, if I have found favor in thy sight, show me now the way that I may know thee, that I may find favor in thy sight; and consider that this thy people is a great nation.

14 Er sprach559: Mein Angesicht6440 soll gehen3212, damit will ich dich leiten5117.

14 And the LORD said to Moses, Go ahead of me, and I will give you rest.

15 Er aber sprach559 zu ihm: Wo nicht dein Angesicht gehet1980, so führe uns nicht von6440 dannen hinauf5927.

15 And he said to him, If thou thyself will not go with us, let us not leave this place.
