11 But he that is greatest3187 among you shall be your5216 servant.1249

12 Denn2532 wer sich selbst1438 erhöhet, der3748 wird erniedriget, und1161 wer sich selbst1438 erniedriget, der3748 wird erhöhet.

12 And whoever3748 shall exalt5312 himself1438 shall be abased;5013 and he that shall humble5013 himself1438 shall be exalted.5312

13 Wehe3759 euch5213, Schriftgelehrte1122 und1161 Pharisäer5330, ihr5210 Heuchler5273, die ihr das3754 Himmelreich932 zuschließt vor1715 den444 Menschen! Ihr kommet nicht3761 hinein1525, und2532 die hinein1525 wollen, lasset863 ihr nicht3756 hineingehen.

14 Wehe3759 euch5213, Schriftgelehrte1122 und2532 Pharisäer5330, ihr Heuchler5273, die5124 ihr der2532 Witwen5503 Häuser3614 fresset2719 und3754 wendet lange3117 Gebete4336 vor4392! Darum werdet ihr desto mehr4055 Verdammnis2917 empfahen.

Und2532 wenn3752 er‘s worden ist, macht4160 ihr aus ihm ein Kind der1520 Hölle1067, zwiefältig mehr1362, denn ihr seid1096.

18 And, Whoever3739 1437 shall swear3660 by the altar,2379 it is nothing;3762 but whoever3739 302 swears3660 by the gift1435 that is on it, he is guilty.3784

19 You fools3474 and blind:5185 for whether5101 is greater,3187 the gift,1435 or2228 the altar2379 that sanctifies37 the gift?1435

20 Darum3767, wer3956 da schwöret3660 bei1722 dem846 Altar2379, der schwöret3660 bei1722 demselben846 und2532 bei1722 allem, was droben ist.
|
20 Whoever3588 therefore3767 shall swear3660 by the altar,2379 swears3660 by it, and by all3956 things thereon.1883 846

23 Wehe3759 euch5213, Schriftgelehrte1122 und2532 Pharisäer5330, ihr Heuchler5273, die ihr verzehntet586 die Minze2238, Till und3754 Kümmel2951 und2532 lasset863 dahinten863 das5023 Schwerste926 im Gesetz3551, nämlich das2548 Gericht2920, die Barmherzigkeit1656 und2532 den Glauben4102. Dies sollte man1163 tun4160 und2532 jenes nicht2532 lassen863.

25 Wehe3759 euch5213, Schriftgelehrte1122 und2532 Pharisäer5330, ihr Heuchler5273, die ihr die Becher4221 und3754 Schüsseln3953 auswendig1855 reinlich haltet2511, inwendig2081 aber1161 ist2532‘s voll1073 Raubes724 und2532 Fraßes192.

25 Woe3759 to you, scribes1122 and Pharisees,5330 hypocrites!5273 for you make2511 clean2511 the outside1855 of the cup4221 and of the platter,3953 but within2081 they are full1073 of extortion724 and excess.192

27 Wehe3759 euch5213, Schriftgelehrte1122 und2532 Pharisäer5330, ihr Heuchler5273, die3748 ihr gleich3945 seid wie die übertünchten2867 Gräber5028, welche auswendig1855 hübsch5611 scheinen5316, aber1161 inwendig2081 sind sie voller1073 Totenbeine und3754 alles3956 Unflats167.

27 Woe3759 to you, scribes1122 and Pharisees,5330 hypocrites!5273 for you are like3945 to white washed2867 sepulchers,5028 which3748 indeed3303 appear5316 beautiful5611 outward,1855 but are within2081 full1073 of dead3498 men's bones,3747 and of all3956 uncleanness.167

29 Wehe3759 euch5213, Schriftgelehrte1122 und2532 Pharisäer5330, ihr Heuchler5273, die ihr der2532 Propheten4396 Gräber5028 bauet3618 und3754 schmücket2885 der Gerechten1342 Gräber3419

29 Woe3759 to you, scribes1122 and Pharisees,5330 hypocrites!5273 because3754 you build3618 the tombs5028 of the prophets,4396 and garnish2885 the sepulchers3419 of the righteous,1342
|
|
30 und2532 sprechet: Wären2258 wir zu1722 unserer2257 Väter3962 Zeiten2250 gewesen2258, so1487 wollten wir nicht3756 teilhaftig2844 sein mit1722 ihnen846 an der Propheten4396 Blut129.
|
30 And say,3004 If1487 we had been2258 in the days2250 of our fathers,3962 we would not have been2258 partakers2844 with them in the blood129 of the prophets.4396

|
31 So3754 gebt ihr3140 zwar über euch1438 selbst Zeugnis, daß5620 ihr2075 Kinder seid derer die, die Propheten4396 getötet haben5407.
|

33 Ihr Schlangen3789, ihr Otterngezüchte, wie4459 wollt ihr der höllischen1067 Verdammnis2920 entrinnen5343?

34 Darum1519 siehe2400, ich5124 sende649 zu4314 euch5209 Propheten4396 und2532 Weise4680 und2532 Schriftgelehrte1122; und2532 derselbigen werdet ihr846 etliche töten615 und2532 kreuzigen4717 und2532 etliche werdet ihr846 geißeln3146 in1722 euren5216 Schulen4864 und2532 werdet sie verfolgen1377 von1537 einer Stadt4172 zu1537 der andern,

34 Why,1223 5124 behold,2400 I send649 to you prophets,4396 and wise4680 men, and scribes:1122 and some of them you shall kill615 and crucify;4717 and some of them shall you whip3146 in your5216 synagogues,4864 and persecute1377 them from city4172 to city:4172

35 That on you may come2064 all3956 the righteous1342 blood129 shed1632 on the earth,1093 from the blood129 of righteous1342 Abel6 to the blood129 of Zacharias2197 son5207 of Barachias,914 whom3739 you slew5407 between3342 the temple3485 and the altar.2379
