約翰福音

第15章

1 「我是真葡萄樹，我父是栽培的人。

2 凡屬我不結果子的枝子，他就剪去；凡結果子的，他就修理乾淨，使枝子結果子更多。

3 現在你們因我講給你們的道，已經乾淨了。

4 你們要常在我裏面，我也常在你們裏面。枝子若不常在葡萄樹上，自己就不能結果子；你們若不常在我裏面，也是這樣。

5 我是葡萄樹，你們是枝子。常在我裏面的，我也常在他裏面，這人就多結果子；因為沒有［without］我，你們就不能作甚麼。

6 人若不常在我裏面，就像枝子丟在外面枯乾，人拾起來，扔在火裏燒了。

7 你們若常在我裏面，我的話也常在你們裏面，凡你們所願意的，祈求，就給你們成就。

8 你們多結果子，我父就因此得榮耀，你們也就是我的門徒了。

9 我愛你們，正如父愛我一樣；你們要常在我的愛裏。

10 你們若遵守我的命令，就常在我的愛裏，正如我遵守了我父的命令，常在他的愛裏。」

11 「這些事我已經對你們說了，是要叫我的喜樂存在你們心裏，並叫你們的喜樂可以滿足。

12 你們要彼此相愛，像我愛你們一樣；這就是我的命令。

13 人為朋友捨命，人的愛心沒有比這個大的。

14 你們若遵行我所吩咐的，就是我的朋友了。

15 以後我不再稱你們為僕人，因僕人不知道他［his］主人所作的事。我乃稱你們為朋友；因我從我父所聽見的，已經都告訴你們了。

16 不是你們揀選了我，是我揀選了你們，命定了你們［ordained you］，並且分派你們去結果子，叫你們的果子常存，使你們奉我的名，無論向父求甚麼，他就賜給你們。

17 我這樣吩咐你們，是要叫你們彼此相愛。」

18 「世界［world］若恨你們，你們知道［ye know that］，它［it］恨你們以先已經恨我了。

19 你們若屬世界，世界必愛屬自己的；只因你們不屬世界，乃是我從世界中揀選了你們，所以世界就恨你們。

20 你們要記念我從前對你們所說的話：『僕人不能大於主人。』他們若逼迫了我，也要逼迫你們；若遵守了我的話，也要遵守你們的話。

21 但他們因我的名要向你們行這一切的事，因為他們不認識那差我來的。

22 我若沒有來教訓他們，他們就沒有罪；但如今他們的罪無可推諉了。

23 恨我的，也恨我的父。

24 我若沒有在他們中間行過別人未曾行的事，他們就沒有罪；但如今連我與我的父，他們也看見也恨惡了。

25 這要應驗他們律法上所寫的話，說：『他們無故的恨我。』

26 但我要從父那裏差安慰者［Comforter］來，就是從父出來真理的靈［Spirit］；他來了，就要為我作見證。

27 你們也要作見證，因為你們從起頭就與我同在。」

Chapter 15

1 I AM the true vine, and my Father is the worker.

2 Every branch in me that does not bear fruit, he cuts out; and the one which bears fruit, he prunes so that it may bring forth more fruit.

3 You have already been pruned because of the word which I have spoken to you.

4 Remain with me and I with you. Just as a branch cannot give fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine; even so you cannot, unless you remain with me.

5 I am the vine, you are the branches. He who remains with me and I with him, will bear abundant fruit; for without me you can do nothing.

6 Unless a man remains with me, he will be cast outside, like a branch which is withered; which they pick up and throw into the fire to be burned.

7 If you remain with me, and my words remain with you, whatever you ask shall be done for you.

8 In this the Father will be glorified, that you bear abundant fruit, and be my disciples.

9 Just as my Father has loved me, I also have loved you; remain in my love.

10 If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and I remain in his love.

11 I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.

12 This is my commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you.

13 There is no greater love than this, when a man lays down his life for the sake of his friends.

14 You are my friends, if you do everything that I command you.

15 Henceforth I will not call you servants, because a servant does not know what his master does; but I have always called you my friends, because everything that I heard from my Father I made it known to you.

16 You did not choose me, but I chose you, and I have appointed you, that you also should go and produce fruit, and that your fruit might remain; so that whatever you ask my Father in my name, he will give it to you.

17 I command these things to you, so that you love one another.

18 If the world hate you, know well that it has hated me before you.

19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but you are not of the world, for I have chosen you out of the world; this is why the world hates you.

20 Remember the word which I said to you, that no servant is greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they kept my word, they will also keep yours.

21 But they will do all these things to you for the sake of my name, because they do not know him who sent me.

22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would be without sin; but now they have no excuse for their sins.

23 He who hates me, hates my Father also.

24 If I had not done works before their eyes, such as no other man has ever done, they would be without sin; but now they have seen and hated me and also my Father,

25 So that the word which is written in their law may be fulfilled, They hated me for no reason.

26 But when the Comforter comes, whom I will send to you from my Father, the Spirit of truth which proceeds from my Father, he will testify concerning me.

27 And you also will testify because you have been with me from the beginning.

Chapter 15

1 「我是真葡萄樹，我父是栽培的人。

1 I AM the true vine, and my Father is the worker.

2 凡屬我不結果子的枝子，他就剪去；凡結果子的，他就修理乾淨，使枝子結果子更多。

2 Every branch in me that does not bear fruit, he cuts out; and the one which bears fruit, he prunes so that it may bring forth more fruit.

3 現在你們因我講給你們的道，已經乾淨了。

3 You have already been pruned because of the word which I have spoken to you.

4 你們要常在我裏面，我也常在你們裏面。枝子若不常在葡萄樹上，自己就不能結果子；你們若不常在我裏面，也是這樣。

4 Remain with me and I with you. Just as a branch cannot give fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine; even so you cannot, unless you remain with me.

5 我是葡萄樹，你們是枝子。常在我裏面的，我也常在他裏面，這人就多結果子；因為沒有［without］我，你們就不能作甚麼。

5 I am the vine, you are the branches. He who remains with me and I with him, will bear abundant fruit; for without me you can do nothing.

8 In this the Father will be glorified, that you bear abundant fruit, and be my disciples.

9 我愛你們，正如父愛我一樣；你們要常在我的愛裏。

9 Just as my Father has loved me, I also have loved you; remain in my love.

10 你們若遵守我的命令，就常在我的愛裏，正如我遵守了我父的命令，常在他的愛裏。」

10 If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and I remain in his love.

11 「這些事我已經對你們說了，是要叫我的喜樂存在你們心裏，並叫你們的喜樂可以滿足。

11 I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.

12 你們要彼此相愛，像我愛你們一樣；這就是我的命令。

12 This is my commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you.

13 人為朋友捨命，人的愛心沒有比這個大的。

13 There is no greater love than this, when a man lays down his life for the sake of his friends.

14 你們若遵行我所吩咐的，就是我的朋友了。

14 You are my friends, if you do everything that I command you.

15 以後我不再稱你們為僕人，因僕人不知道他［his］主人所作的事。我乃稱你們為朋友；因我從我父所聽見的，已經都告訴你們了。

15 Henceforth I will not call you servants, because a servant does not know what his master does; but I have always called you my friends, because everything that I heard from my Father I made it known to you.

16 不是你們揀選了我，是我揀選了你們，命定了你們［ordained you］，並且分派你們去結果子，叫你們的果子常存，使你們奉我的名，無論向父求甚麼，他就賜給你們。

16 You did not choose me, but I chose you, and I have appointed you, that you also should go and produce fruit, and that your fruit might remain; so that whatever you ask my Father in my name, he will give it to you.

17 我這樣吩咐你們，是要叫你們彼此相愛。」

17 I command these things to you, so that you love one another.

18 「世界［world］若恨你們，你們知道［ye know that］，它［it］恨你們以先已經恨我了。

18 If the world hate you, know well that it has hated me before you.

19 你們若屬世界，世界必愛屬自己的；只因你們不屬世界，乃是我從世界中揀選了你們，所以世界就恨你們。

19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but you are not of the world, for I have chosen you out of the world; this is why the world hates you.

20 你們要記念我從前對你們所說的話：『僕人不能大於主人。』他們若逼迫了我，也要逼迫你們；若遵守了我的話，也要遵守你們的話。

20 Remember the word which I said to you, that no servant is greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they kept my word, they will also keep yours.

21 但他們因我的名要向你們行這一切的事，因為他們不認識那差我來的。

21 But they will do all these things to you for the sake of my name, because they do not know him who sent me.

22 我若沒有來教訓他們，他們就沒有罪；但如今他們的罪無可推諉了。

22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would be without sin; but now they have no excuse for their sins.

23 恨我的，也恨我的父。

23 He who hates me, hates my Father also.

24 我若沒有在他們中間行過別人未曾行的事，他們就沒有罪；但如今連我與我的父，他們也看見也恨惡了。

24 If I had not done works before their eyes, such as no other man has ever done, they would be without sin; but now they have seen and hated me and also my Father,

25 這要應驗他們律法上所寫的話，說：『他們無故的恨我。』

25 So that the word which is written in their law may be fulfilled, They hated me for no reason.

26 但我要從父那裏差安慰者［Comforter］來，就是從父出來真理的靈［Spirit］；他來了，就要為我作見證。

26 But when the Comforter comes, whom I will send to you from my Father, the Spirit of truth which proceeds from my Father, he will testify concerning me.

27 你們也要作見證，因為你們從起頭就與我同在。」

27 And you also will testify because you have been with me from the beginning.
