希伯來書

第3章

1 同蒙天召的聖潔弟兄啊，你們應當思想，我們所宣認［profession］為使徒［Apostle］，為大祭司的基督［Christ］耶穌。

2 他為那設立他的盡忠，如同摩西在神的全家盡忠一樣。

3 他比摩西算是更配多得榮耀，好像建造房屋的比房屋更尊榮；

4 因為房屋都必有人建造，但建造一切［all things］的就是神。

5 摩西為僕人，在神的全家誠然盡忠，為要證明將來必傳說的事。

6 但基督為兒子，治理他自己［his own］的家。我們若將可喜樂的［rejoicing］盼望和信心［confidence］，堅持到底，便是他的家了。

7 （聖靈有話說：「你們今日若聽他的話，

8 就不可硬著心，像在曠野惹他發怒、試探他的時候一樣。

9 在那裏，你們的祖宗試我探我，並且觀看我的作為有四十年之久。

10 所以，我為那世代的人憂愁［I was grieved with that generation］，說：『他們心裏常常迷糊，竟不曉得我的作為。』

11 我就在怒中起誓說：『他們斷不可進入我的安息。』」）

12 弟兄們，你們要謹慎，免得你們中間或有人存著不信的惡心，把永生神離棄了。

13 總要趁著還有叫作今日的時候［while it is called To day］，天天彼此相勸，免得你們中間有人被罪迷惑，心裏就剛硬了。

14 我們若將起初確實的信心堅持到底，就在基督裏有分了。

15 經上說：「你們今日若聽他的話，就不可硬著心，像惹他發怒的日子一樣。」

16 那時，有好些人聽見他話惹他發怒［For some, when they had heard, did provoke］；只是［howbeit］跟著摩西從埃及出來的眾人不都是如此［not all］。

17 神四十年之久，為誰憂愁［whom was he grieved］呢？豈不是那些犯罪、屍首倒在曠野的人嗎？

18 又向誰起誓，不容他們進入他的安息呢；豈不是向那些不信從的人嗎？

19 這樣看來，他們不能進入安息是因為不信的緣故了。

2 Who was faithful4103 to him that appointed4160 him, as also2532 Moses3475 was faithful in all3650 his house.3624

3 For this3778 man was counted515 worthy515 of more4119 glory1391 than3844 Moses,3475 inasmuch2596 3745 as he who has built2680 the house3624 has2192 more4119 honor5092 than the house.3624

4 For every3956 house3624 is built2680 by some5100 man; but he that built2680 all3956 things is God.2316

5 And Moses3475 truly3303 was faithful4103 in all3650 his house,3624 as a servant,2324 for a testimony3142 of those3588 things which were to be spoken2980 after;

6 But Christ5547 as a son5207 over1909 his own848 house;3624 whose3739 house3624 are we, if1437 we hold2722 fast2722 the confidence3954 and the rejoicing2745 of the hope1680 firm949 to the end.5056

7 Why1352 (as the Holy40 Ghost4151 said,3004 To day4594 if1437 you will hear191 his voice,5456

8 Harden4645 not your5216 hearts,2588 as in the provocation,3894 in the day2250 of temptation3986 in the wilderness:2048

9 When3756 your5216 fathers3962 tempted3985 me, proved1381 me, and saw1492 my works2041 forty5062 years.2094

10 Why1352 I was grieved4360 with that generation,1074 and said,2036 They do always104 err4105 in their heart;2588 and they have not known1097 my ways.3598

11 So5613 I swore3660 in my wrath,3709 They shall not enter1525 into1519 my rest.2663)

12 Take heed,991 brothers,80 lest3379 there be in any5100 of you an evil4190 heart2588 of unbelief,570 in departing868 from the living2198 God.2316

13 But exhort3870 one1438 another1438 daily,2596 1538 2250 while891 3739 it3588 is called2564 Today;4594 lest3363 any5100 of1537 you5216 be hardened4645 through the deceitfulness539 of sin.266

14 For we are made1096 partakers3353 of Christ,5547 if1437 we hold2722 the beginning746 of our confidence5287 steadfast949 to the end;5056

15 While1722 3588 it is said,3004 To day4594 if1437 you will hear191 his voice,5456 harden4645 not your5216 hearts,2588 as in the provocation.3894

16 For some,5100 when they had heard,191 did provoke:3893 however,235 not all3956 that came1831 out of Egypt125 by Moses.3475

17 But with whom5101 was he grieved4360 forty5062 years?2094 was it not with them that had sinned,264 whose3739 carcasses2966 fell4098 in the wilderness?2048

18 And to whom5101 swore3660 he that they should not enter1525 into1519 his rest,2663 but to them that believed544 not?

19 So2532 we see991 that they could1410 not enter1525 in because1223 of unbelief.570

12 弟兄們，你們要謹慎，免得你們中間或有人存著不信的惡心，把永生神離棄了。

16 那時，有好些人聽見他話惹他發怒［For some, when they had heard, did provoke］；只是［howbeit］跟著摩西從埃及出來的眾人不都是如此［not all］。
