加拉太書

第4章

1 我說那承受產業的，雖然是全業的主人，但為孩童的時候卻與僕人［servant］毫無分別，

2 乃在師傅和臣宰［governors］的手下，直等他父親預定的時候來到。

3 我們為孩童的時候，受管於世俗基礎［elements］之下，也是如此。

4 及至時候滿足，神就差遣他的兒子，為女子所生，且生在律法以下，

5 要把律法以下的人贖出來，叫我們得著兒子的名分。

6 你們既為兒子，神就差他兒子的靈［Spirit］進入你們［your］的心，呼叫：「阿爸，父。」

7 可見，從此以後，你不是僕人［servant］，乃是兒子了。既是兒子，就靠著基督［through Christ］成為神的後嗣［heir of God］。

8 但從前你們不認識神的時候，是服事那些本來不是神的［service unto them which by nature are no gods］；

9 但［But］現在你們既然認識神，更可說是被神所認識的，怎麼還要歸回那懦弱無用的基礎［elements］，情願再給他作奴僕呢？

10 你們謹守日子、月分、節期、年分。

11 我為你們害怕、唯恐我在你們身上是枉費勞累［labour］。

12 弟兄們，我勸你們要像我一樣，因為我也像你們一樣。你們一點沒有傷害［injured］我。

13 你們知道我第一次是怎樣藉著患病的身體把福音傳給你們［how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you］。

14 並且你們沒有因我身體受試探的緣故輕看我［And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not］，也沒有厭棄我，反倒接待我，如同神的天使［angel］，如同基督耶穌。

15 你們當日所誇的福氣在哪裏呢？那時你們若能行，就是把自己的眼睛剜出來給我，也都情願。這是我可以給你們作見證的。

16 因為［because］我將真理告訴你們，就成了你們的仇敵嗎？

17 那些人熱心待你們，卻不是好意；他們是要排除你們［they would exclude you］，叫你們熱心待他們。

18 在善事上，常被熱心鼓動［to be zealously affected］原是好的，卻不單我與你們同在的時候才這樣。

19 我小子啊，我為你們再受分娩的陣痛［travail in birth］，直等到基督成形在你們心裏。

20 我巴不得現今在你們那裏，改換口氣，因我為你們心裏作難。

21 你們這願意在律法以下的人，請告訴我，你們豈沒有聽見律法嗎？

22 因為律法上記著，亞伯拉罕有兩個兒子，一個是婢女［bondmaid］生的，一個是自主之婦人生的。

23 然而，那婢女［bondwoman］所生的是按著血氣生的；那自主之婦人所生的是憑著應許生的。

24 這都是隱喻［allegory］：那兩個婦人就是兩約。一約是出於西奈山，生子為奴，乃是夏甲。

25 這夏甲二字是指著阿拉伯的西奈山，與現在的耶路撒冷同類，並且［and］她的兒女都是為奴的。

26 但那在上的耶路撒冷是自主的，她是我們眾人［all］的母。

27 因為經上記著：不育而不懷孕的［barren that bearest not］，你要歡樂；未曾經過陣痛［travailest］的，你要高聲歡呼；因為沒有丈夫的，比有丈夫的兒女更多。

28 弟兄們，我們是憑著應許作兒女，如同以撒一樣。

29 當時，那按著血氣生的逼迫了那按著靈［Spirit］生的，現在也是這樣。

30 然而聖經［scripture］上是怎麼說的呢？是說：「把婢女［bondwoman］和她兒子趕出去。因為婢女［bondwoman］的兒子不可與自主婦人的兒子一同承受產業。」

31 弟兄們，這樣看來，我們不是婢女［bondwoman］的兒女，乃是自主婦人的兒女了。

Galatians

Chapter 4

17 They zealously2206 affect2206 you, but not well;2573 yes,235 they would2309 exclude1576 you, that you might affect2206 them.

18 But it is good2570 to be zealously2206 affected2206 always3842 in a good2570 thing, and not only3440 when1722 3588 I am present3918 with you.

20 I desire2309 to be present3918 with you now,737 and to change236 my voice;5456 for I stand639 in doubt639 of you.

22 For it is written,1125 that Abraham11 had2192 two1417 sons,5207 the one1520 by a female slave,3814 the other1520 by a free woman.1658

23 But he who was of the female slave3814 was born1080 after2596 the flesh;4561 but he of the free woman1658 was by promise.1860

24 Which3748 things are an allegory:238 for these3778 are the two1417 covenants;1242 the one3391 from the mount3735 Sinai,4614 which engenders1080 to bondage,1397 which3748 is Agar.28

25 For this3588 Agar28 is mount3735 Sinai4614 in Arabia,688 and answers4960 to Jerusalem2419 which3588 now3568 is, and is in bondage1398 with her children.5043

26 But Jerusalem2419 which is above507 is free,1658 which3748 is the mother3384 of us all.3956

27 For it is written,1125 Rejoice,2165 you barren4723 that bore5088 not; break4486 forth4486 and cry,994 you that travail5605 not: for the desolate2048 has many4183 more3123 children5043 than2228 she which has2192 an husband.435

28 Now1161 we, brothers,80 as Isaac2464 was, are the children5043 of promise.1860

29 But as then5119 he that was born1080 after2596 the flesh4561 persecuted1377 him that was born after2596 the Spirit,4151 even2532 so3779 it is now.3568

30 Nevertheless235 what5101 said3004 the scripture?1124 Cast1544 out the female slave3814 and her son:5207 for the son5207 of the female slave3814 shall not be heir2816 with the son5207 of the free woman.1658

31 So686 then,686 brothers,80 we are not children5043 of the female slave,3814 but of the free.1658
