箴言

第9章

1 智者建室，彫其七柱、

2 宰畜釀酒、肆筵設席、

3 遣婢速客、智者登高而呼、

4 招愚魯之人入室、語之曰、

5 爾來食我所炊之餅、飲我所釀之酒、

6 棄愚蠢之徒、由智慧之道、則可得生。

7 譴責侮慢者、反受凌辱、督責惡人者、反見污衊。

8 規諫侮慢者、必爲所憾、勸勉智慧者、可蒙其愛。

9 訓迪智人、則其智日加、指示義人、則其學日進。

10 畏耶和華卽智慧之本、識聖理卽聰明之源。

11 如是遐齡可得享、年齒日以增、

12 如爾爲智、則可納福、如爾侮慢、則自取戻。

13 愚婦嘻嗃、椎魯無知、

14 或坐室門、或登城堞、

15 旅人行路、中道而趨、婦則呼於其後、

16 招愚魯之人入室、語之曰、

17 竊水而飲、其味甚甘、盜餅而食、其趣深長、不知寓彼室者、就死地、主之者、墮陰府。

1 Wisdom2454 has built1129 her house,1004 she has hewn2672 out her seven7651 pillars:5982

2 She has killed2873 her beasts;2874 she has mingled4537 her wine;3196 she has also637 furnished6186 her table.7979

3 She has sent7971 forth her maidens:5291 she cries7121 on the highest4791 places of the city,7176

4 Whoever4310 is simple,6612 let him turn5493 in here: as for him that wants2638 understanding,3820 she said559 to him,

5 Come,3212 eat3898 of my bread,3899 and drink8354 of the wine3196 which I have mingled.4537

6 Forsake5800 the foolish,6612 and live;2421 and go833 in the way1870 of understanding.998

7 He that reproves3256 a scorner3887 gets3947 to himself shame:7036 and he that rebukes3198 a wicked7563 man gets himself a blot.3971

8 Reprove3198 not a scorner,3887 lest6435 he hate8130 you: rebuke3198 a wise2450 man, and he will love157 you.

9 Give5414 instruction to a wise2450 man, and he will be yet5750 wiser:2449 teach3045 a just6662 man, and he will increase3254 in learning.3948

10 The fear3374 of the LORD3068 is the beginning8462 of wisdom:2451 and the knowledge1847 of the holy6918 is understanding.998

11 For by me your days3117 shall be multiplied,7235 and the years8141 of your life2416 shall be increased.3254
