1 I WILL lift up mine eyes to the mountain from whence comes my help.

2 My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

3 He will not allow your foot to be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber.

4 Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The LORD is your keeper; the LORD will protect you with his right hand.

6 The sun shall not smite you by day, nor the moon by night.

7 The LORD will preserve you from all evil; he will preserve your soul.

8 The LORD will preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth and even for evermore.

1 Обрадовался я, когда мне сказали: «Пойдём в храм Вечного».

2 Ноги наши стоят у ворот твоих, Иерусалим.

3 Иерусалим – плотно застроенный город.

4 Туда поднимаются роды, роды Вечного,по Закону Исраила, воздать хвалу имени Вечного.

5 Там стоят престолы суда, престолы дома Давуда.

6 Молитесь о мире для Иерусалима: «Пусть будут благополучны любящие тебя.

7 Пусть будет мир в твоих стенах и благополучие в твоих дворцах».

8 Ради моей семьи и моих друзей скажу: «Мир тебе!»
