Leviticus

Chapter 18

1 AND the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2 Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, I am the LORD your God.

3 You shall not do according to the doings of the land of Egypt wherein you dwelt, neither shall you do according to the doings of the land of Canaan whither I bring you; neither shall you walk in their ordinances.

4 But you shall do my judgments and keep my commandments and walk in them; I am the LORD your God.

5 You shall therefore keep my commandments and my judgments, which if a man do, he shall live in them; I am the LORD.

6 None of you shall be intimate with any that is near of kin to him to uncover her nakedness; I am the LORD.

7 You shall not shame your father by approaching your mother; she is your mother, you shall not uncover her nakedness.

8 You shall not approach your father's wife; it is your father's nakedness.

9 You shall not approach your sister, the daughter of your father or the daughter of your mother, whether she is begotten of your father or of another man.

10 You shall not approach your son's daughter or your daughter's daughter, because they are your own kin.

11 You shall not approach your father's wife's daughter, begotten of your father, she is your sister; you shall not uncover her nakedness.

12 You shall not approach your father's sister, she is your father's near kinswoman.

13 You shall not approach your mother's sister, for she is your mother's near kinswoman.

14 You shall not put to shame your father's brother; you shall not approach his wife: for she is your aunt, you shall not uncover her nakedness.

15 You shall not approach your daughter-in-law; for she is your son's wife; you shall not uncover tier nakedness.

16 You shall not approach your brother's wife; it is your brother's nakedness.

17 You shall not approach a woman and her daughter; neither shall you take her son's daughter or her daughter's daughter to uncover nakedness; for they are her near kinswomen; it is wickedness.

18 And you shall not take to wife a sister of your wife, to distress her, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life time.

19 You shall not be intimate with a woman while she is unclean during her menstruation.

20 Moreover you shall not lie carnally with your neighbor's wife to defile yourself with her.

21 You shall not let any of your semen be cast into a strange woman to cause her to be pregnant; neither shall you profane the name of your God; I am the LORD.

22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; because it is an abomination.

23 Neither shall you lie with any beast to defile yourself with it; neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie with it; because it is an abomination.

24 Do not defile yourselves in any of these things; for it was in all these that the nations are defiled which I am casting out before you;

25 And the land is defiled; therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it so that the land is bereaved of its inhabitants.

26 You shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither you nor any proselytes who sojourn among you

27 (For all these sins have the men of the land done who were before you, and the land is defiled);

28 Do not defile the land, lest it cast you out as it cast out the nations that were before you.

29 For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the persons who commit them shall be cut off from among their people.

30 Therefore you shall keep my ordinance, and you shall not commit any of these abominable customs which were committed before you, and you shall not defile yourselves by them; I am the LORD your God.

1 Вечный сказал Мусе:

2 – Говори с исраильтянами и скажи им: «Я – Вечный, ваш Бог.

3 Не поступайте, как поступают в Египте, где вы жили, и в земле Ханаана, куда Я вас веду. Не следуйте их обычаям.

4 Соблюдайте Мои законы и прилежно исполняйте Мои установления. Я – Вечный, ваш Бог.

5 Исполняйте Мои установления и законы, потому что тот, кто соблюдает их, будет жив благодаря им. Я – Вечный.

6 Пусть никто не приближается ни к какой из близких родственниц, чтобы иметь с ней половые отношения. Я – Вечный.

7 Не позорь отца, вступив в половые отношения с матерью. Она – твоя мать, не вступай в половые отношения с ней.

8 Не имей половые отношения с другой женой твоего отца – это бесчестие для него.

9 Не вступай в половые отношения со своей родной, единокровной или единоутробной сестрой, родилась ли она в том же доме, что и ты, или нет.

10 Не вступай в половые отношения со своей внучкой – это бесчестие для тебя.

11 Не вступай в половые отношения с дочерью жены твоего отца, рождённой твоему отцу: она твоя единокровная сестра.

12 Не вступай в половые отношения с сестрой отца: она его близкая родственница.

13 Не вступай в половые отношения с сестрой матери, ведь она её близкая родственница.

14 Не позорь брата отца, приближаясь к его жене, чтобы иметь половые отношения с ней: она твоя тётя.

15 Не вступай в половые отношения со своей снохой. Она жена твоего сына; не имей половые отношения с ней.

16 Не вступай в половые отношения с невесткой, женой своего брата, – это бесчестие для него.

17 Не вступай в половые отношения и с женою, и с её дочерью, твоей падчерицей. Не вступай в половые отношения с дочерью её сына или дочери: они её близкие родственники. Это разврат.

18 Не бери в жёны свояченицу, сестру своей жены, чтобы она не стала ей соперницей; не вступай в половые отношения с ней, пока жива твоя жена.

19 Не приближайся к женщине, чтобы иметь с ней половые отношения, когда она нечиста из-за месячных.

20 Не вступай в половые отношения с женой другого, не оскверняй себя.

21 Не отдавай своих детей Молоху, . не бесчести имени своего Бога. Я – Вечный.

22 Не ложись с мужчиной, как с женщиной – это мерзость.

23 Не совокупляйся с животным, не оскверняй себя. Женщине нельзя становиться перед животным для совокупления – это извращение.

24 Не оскверняйте себя ничем этим, потому что так осквернили себя народы, которых Я от вас прогоняю.

25 Земля осквернилась, Я наказал её за грех, и она исторгла своих обитателей.

26 Исполняйте Мои установления и законы. Пусть ни уроженцы страны, ни живущие у вас чужеземцы не делают этих мерзостей.

27 Всё это делали те, кто жил в этой земле до вас, и земля осквернилась.

28 Если вы оскверните землю, она извергнет вас, как извергла народы, которые были до вас.

29 Любой, кто сделает что-либо из этих мерзостей, будет исторгнут из своего народа.

30 Соблюдайте Мои повеления и не следуйте отвратительным обычаям, которые были до вас, не оскверняйтесь ими. Я – Вечный, ваш Бог».

4 Соблюдайте Мои законы и прилежно исполняйте Мои установления. Я – Вечный, ваш Бог.

5 You shall therefore keep my commandments and my judgments, which if a man do, he shall live in them; I am the LORD.

5 Исполняйте Мои установления и законы, потому что тот, кто соблюдает их, будет жив благодаря им. Я – Вечный.

6 None of you shall be intimate with any that is near of kin to him to uncover her nakedness; I am the LORD.

6 Пусть никто не приближается ни к какой из близких родственниц, чтобы иметь с ней половые отношения. Я – Вечный.

7 You shall not shame your father by approaching your mother; she is your mother, you shall not uncover her nakedness.

7 Не позорь отца, вступив в половые отношения с матерью. Она – твоя мать, не вступай в половые отношения с ней.

8 You shall not approach your father's wife; it is your father's nakedness.

8 Не имей половые отношения с другой женой твоего отца – это бесчестие для него.

9 You shall not approach your sister, the daughter of your father or the daughter of your mother, whether she is begotten of your father or of another man.

17 You shall not approach a woman and her daughter; neither shall you take her son's daughter or her daughter's daughter to uncover nakedness; for they are her near kinswomen; it is wickedness.

17 Не вступай в половые отношения и с женою, и с её дочерью, твоей падчерицей. Не вступай в половые отношения с дочерью её сына или дочери: они её близкие родственники. Это разврат.

18 And you shall not take to wife a sister of your wife, to distress her, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life time.

18 Не бери в жёны свояченицу, сестру своей жены, чтобы она не стала ей соперницей; не вступай в половые отношения с ней, пока жива твоя жена.

23 Не совокупляйся с животным, не оскверняй себя. Женщине нельзя становиться перед животным для совокупления – это извращение.

24 Do not defile yourselves in any of these things; for it was in all these that the nations are defiled which I am casting out before you;

24 Не оскверняйте себя ничем этим, потому что так осквернили себя народы, которых Я от вас прогоняю.

25 Земля осквернилась, Я наказал её за грех, и она исторгла своих обитателей.

26 Исполняйте Мои установления и законы. Пусть ни уроженцы страны, ни живущие у вас чужеземцы не делают этих мерзостей.

27 (For all these sins have the men of the land done who were before you, and the land is defiled);

27 Всё это делали те, кто жил в этой земле до вас, и земля осквернилась.

28 Do not defile the land, lest it cast you out as it cast out the nations that were before you.

28 Если вы оскверните землю, она извергнет вас, как извергла народы, которые были до вас.

29 For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the persons who commit them shall be cut off from among their people.

29 Любой, кто сделает что-либо из этих мерзостей, будет исторгнут из своего народа.

30 Therefore you shall keep my ordinance, and you shall not commit any of these abominable customs which were committed before you, and you shall not defile yourselves by them; I am the LORD your God.

30 Соблюдайте Мои повеления и не следуйте отвратительным обычаям, которые были до вас, не оскверняйтесь ими. Я – Вечный, ваш Бог».
