3 When3588 I consider7200 thy heavens,8064 the work4639 of thy fingers,676 the moon3394 and the stars,3556 which834 thou hast ordained;3559

4 What4100 is man,582 that3588 thou art mindful2142 of him? and the son1121 of man,120 that3588 thou visitest6485 him?

5 For thou hast made him a little lower2637 4592 than the angels,4480 430 and hast crowned5849 him with glory3519 and honor.1926

2 Иегова {Сий то есть Тот, Который есть, был и будет; Исх. 3:14, 15; Отк. 1:8}, Господи наш! как величественно имя Твое по всей земле! Ты вознес величие Твое превыше небес.

3 В устах юных и грудных детей Ты устрояешь Себе хвалу, вопреки враждующим против Тебя, дабы сделать безмолвным врага и мятежника.

4 Когда взираю на небеса Твои, дело Твоих перстов, на луну и звезды, которые Ты поставил:

5 То что есть человек, что Ты помнишь его, и что есть сын человеческий, что Ты посещаешь его?

6 Не много Ты унизил его пред Ангелами, славою и красотою увенчал его;

7 Поставил его владыкою над делами рук Твоих, все положил к ногам его,

8 Овец и волов всех, и диких зверей,

9 Птиц небесных и рыб морских, ходящих морскими путями.
