Chapter 12

1 And Miriam4813 and Aaron175 spoke1696 against Moses4872 because5921 182 of the Ethiopian3571 woman802 whom834 he had married:3947 for3588 he had married3947 an Ethiopian3571 woman.802

2 And they said,559 Hath the LORD3068 indeed389 spoken1696 only7535 by Moses?4872 hath he not3808 spoken1696 also1571 by us? And the LORD3068 heard8085 it.

3 (Now the man376 Moses4872 was very3966 meek,6035 above all4480 3605 the men120 which834 were upon5921 the face6440 of the earth.)127

4 And the LORD3068 spoke559 suddenly6597 unto413 Moses,4872 and unto413 Aaron,175 and unto413 Miriam,4813 Come out3318 ye three7969 unto413 the tabernacle168 of the congregation.4150 And they three7969 came out.3318

5 And the LORD3068 came down3381 in the pillar5982 of the cloud,6051 and stood5975 in the door6607 of the tabernacle,168 and called7121 Aaron175 and Miriam:4813 and they both8147 came forth.3318

6 And he said,559 Hear8085 now4994 my words:1697 If518 there be1961 a prophet5030 among you, I the LORD3068 will make myself known3045 unto413 him in a vision,4759 and will speak1696 unto him in a dream.2472

7 My servant5650 Moses4872 is not3808 so,3651 who1931 is faithful539 in all3605 mine house.1004

8 With him will I speak1696 mouth6310 to413 mouth,6310 even apparently,4758 and not3808 in dark speeches;2420 and the similitude8544 of the LORD3068 shall he behold:5027 wherefore4069 then were ye not afraid3372 3808 to speak1696 against my servant5650 Moses?4872

9 And the anger639 of the LORD3068 was kindled2734 against them; and he departed.1980

10 And the cloud6051 departed5493 from off4480 5921 the tabernacle;168 and, behold,2009 Miriam4813 became leprous,6879 white as snow:7950 and Aaron175 looked6437 upon413 Miriam,4813 and, behold,2009 she was leprous.6879

11 And Aaron175 said559 unto413 Moses,4872 Alas,994 my lord,113 I beseech thee,4994 lay7896 not408 the sin2403 upon5921 us, wherein834 we have done foolishly,2973 and wherein834 we have sinned.2398

12 Let4994 her not408 be1961 as one dead,4191 of whom834 the flesh1320 is half2677 consumed398 when he cometh out3318 of his mother's517 womb.4480 7358

13 And Moses4872 cried6817 unto413 the LORD,3068 saying,559 Heal7495 her now,4994 O God,410 I beseech thee.4994

14 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Moses,4872 If her father1 had but spit3417 3417 in her face,6440 should she not3808 be ashamed3637 seven7651 days?3117 let her be shut out5462 from4480 2351 the camp4264 seven7651 days,3117 and after that310 let her be received in622 again.

15 And Miriam4813 was shut out5462 from4480 2351 the camp4264 seven7651 days:3117 and the people5971 journeyed5265 not3808 till5704 Miriam4813 was brought in622 again.

16 And afterward310 the people5971 removed5265 from Hazeroth,4480 2698 and pitched2583 in the wilderness4057 of Paran.6290

1 И упрекали Мариамь и Аарон Моисея за жену Ефиоплянку, которую он взял; ибо он взял за себя Ефиоплянку;

2 И сказали: неужели только чрез Моисея говорит Господь? Неужели Он не говорит и чрез нас? И услышал сие Господь.

3 Моисей же был кротчайший из всех человеков, которые на земле.

4 И тотчас сказал Господь Моисею и Аарону и Мариами: выйдите вы трое к скинии собрания; и вышли все трое.

5 И сошел Господь в облачном столпе, и стал у дверей скинии, и позвал Аарона и Мариамь, и вышли они оба.

6 И сказал: послушайте слов Моих: если бывает у вас пророк, то Я, Господь, открываюсь ему в видении, во сне говорю с ним;

7 Но с рабом Моим Моисеем не так; он верен во всем дому Моем.

8 Устами к устам говорю Я с ним, и даю ему видеть не в загадках; но он видит образ Господа: и как вы не убоялись упрекать раба Моего, Моисея?

9 И воспламенился гнев Господа на них, и Он отошел.

10 И облако удалилось от скинии, и Мариамь покрылась проказою, как снегом. Аарон взглянул на Мариамь, и увидел, что она в проказе.

11 И сказал Аарон Моисею: господин мой, не поставь нам в грех, что мы поступили глупо и согрешили;

12 Не попусти, чтоб она была, как мертвый младенец, у которого, когда он выходит из чрева матери своей, истлела уже половина тела.

13 И возопил Моисей ко Господу, говоря: Боже, исцели ее!

14 И сказал Господь Моисею: если бы и отец ее плюнул ей в лице, то не должна ли бы она быть в бесчестии семь дней? Итак пусть будет она в заключении семь дней вне стана, а после опять возвратится.

15 И пробыла Мариамь в заключении вне стана семь дней, и народ не отправлялся в путь, пока не возвратилась Мариамь.

6 И сказал: послушайте слов Моих: если бывает у вас пророк, то Я, Господь, открываюсь ему в видении, во сне говорю с ним;

7 My servant5650 Moses4872 is not3808 so,3651 who1931 is faithful539 in all3605 mine house.1004

7 Но с рабом Моим Моисеем не так; он верен во всем дому Моем.

8 Устами к устам говорю Я с ним, и даю ему видеть не в загадках; но он видит образ Господа: и как вы не убоялись упрекать раба Моего, Моисея?

10 And the cloud6051 departed5493 from off4480 5921 the tabernacle;168 and, behold,2009 Miriam4813 became leprous,6879 white as snow:7950 and Aaron175 looked6437 upon413 Miriam,4813 and, behold,2009 she was leprous.6879

10 И облако удалилось от скинии, и Мариамь покрылась проказою, как снегом. Аарон взглянул на Мариамь, и увидел, что она в проказе.

11 And Aaron175 said559 unto413 Moses,4872 Alas,994 my lord,113 I beseech thee,4994 lay7896 not408 the sin2403 upon5921 us, wherein834 we have done foolishly,2973 and wherein834 we have sinned.2398

11 И сказал Аарон Моисею: господин мой, не поставь нам в грех, что мы поступили глупо и согрешили;

15 И пробыла Мариамь в заключении вне стана семь дней, и народ не отправлялся в путь, пока не возвратилась Мариамь.
