2 I will say559 unto413 God,433 Do not408 condemn7561 me; show3045 me wherefore5921 4100 thou contendest7378 with me.

3 Is it good2896 unto thee that3588 thou shouldest oppress,6231 that3588 thou shouldest despise3988 the work3018 of thine hands,3709 and shine3313 upon5921 the counsel6098 of the wicked?7563

4 Hast thou eyes5869 of flesh?1320 or518 seest7200 thou as man582 seeth?7200

6 That3588 thou inquirest1245 after mine iniquity,5771 and searchest1875 after my sin?2403

1 Опротивела душе моей жизнь моя; предамся печали моей; буду говорить в горести души моей.

2 Скажу Богу: не осуждай меня; объяви мне, за что Ты имеешь прю со мною?

3 Разве для Тебя хорошо это, что угнетаешь, что отвергаешь произведение рук Твоих, и посылаешь свет на совет нечестивых?

4 Разве у Тебя очи плотские? разве Ты смотришь, как смотрит смертный?

5 Разве дни Твои, как дни человека? разве лета Твои, как дни смертного,

6 Что Ты ищешь порока во мне, и допытываешься греха во мне,

7 Хотя знаешь, что я не беззаконник? и нет избавляющего от руки Твоей!

8 Твои руки трудились надо мною, и сложили меня кругом в одно; и Ты губишь меня?

9 Вспомни, что Ты обделал меня как глину; и в прах обращаешь меня?

10 Не Ты ли вылил меня как молоко, и как творог сгустил меня?

11 Ты одел меня кожею и плотью, и скрепил меня костьми и жилами;

12 Жизнью и милостью благотворил мне, и попечение Твое хранило дух мой.

13 И вот что скрывал Ты в сердце Твоем! знаю, что это было предположено у Тебя,

14 Чтоб наблюдать за мною, когда я согрешу, и преступлений моих не оставлять без наказания.

15 Итак, виновен ли я, горе мне! прав ли я, не могу вознести главы моей, пресыщенный уничижением и видением бедности моей.

16 А если и восклоняется, как лев за мною гонишься, и снова являешь Себя чудным во мне.

17 Выводишь новых свидетелей Твоих против меня; усиливаешь негодование Твое на меня; воинства, и все сменами, выступают против меня.

18 Зачем Ты вывел меня из чрева? пусть бы я умер, и ничье око не видело бы меня;

19 Пусть бы я был как небывший, от утробы ко гробу перенесен!

20 Не малость ли дни мои? Престань же, и сложи с меня тяжесть, чтоб я порадовался немного,

21 Прежде, нежели отойду, и уже не возвращуся, в землю тьмы и сени смертной,

22 В землю мрачности, каков есть мрак тени смертной, где нет устройства, и так светло, как во мраке.

14 Чтоб наблюдать за мною, когда я согрешу, и преступлений моих не оставлять без наказания.

15 Итак, виновен ли я, горе мне! прав ли я, не могу вознести главы моей, пресыщенный уничижением и видением бедности моей.
