Chapter 10

1 Then I looked,7200 and, behold,2009 in413 the firmament7549 that834 was above5921 the head7218 of the cherubims3742 there appeared7200 over5921 them as it were a sapphire5601 stone,68 as the appearance4758 of the likeness1823 of a throne.3678

2 And he spoke559 unto413 the man376 clothed3847 with linen,906 and said,559 Go in935 413 between996 the wheels,1534 even under8478 the cherub,3742 and fill4390 thine hand2651 with coals1513 of fire784 from between4480 996 the cherubims,3742 and scatter2236 them over5921 the city.5892 And he went935 in in my sight.5869

3 Now the cherubims3742 stood5975 on the right side4480 3225 of the house,1004 when the man376 went in;935 and the cloud6051 filled4390 the inner6442 853 court.2691

4 Then the glory3519 of the LORD3068 went up7311 from4480 5921 the cherub,3742 and stood over5921 the threshold4670 of the house;1004 and the house1004 was filled4390 with854 the cloud,6051 and the court2691 was full4390 of854 the brightness5051 of the LORD's3068 glory.3519

5 And the sound6963 of the cherubims'3742 wings3671 was heard8085 even to5704 the outer2435 court,2691 as the voice6963 of the Almighty7706 God410 when he speaketh.1696

6 And it came to pass,1961 that when he had commanded6680 853 the man376 clothed3847 with linen,906 saying,559 Take3947 fire784 from between4480 996 the wheels,1534 from between4480 996 the cherubims;3742 then he went in,935 and stood5975 beside681 the wheels.212

7 And one cherub3742 stretched forth7971 853 his hand3027 from between4480 996 the cherubims3742 unto413 the fire784 that834 was between996 the cherubims,3742 and took5375 thereof, and put5414 it into413 the hands2651 of him that was clothed3847 with linen:906 who took3947 it, and went out.3318

8 And there appeared7200 in the cherubims3742 the form8403 of a man's120 hand3027 under8478 their wings.3671

9 And when I looked,7200 behold2009 the four702 wheels212 by681 the cherubims,3742 one259 wheel212 by681 one259 cherub,3742 and another259 wheel212 by681 another259 cherub:3742 and the appearance4758 of the wheels212 was as the color5869 of a beryl8658 stone.68

10 And as for their appearances,4758 they four702 had one259 likeness,1823 as if834 a wheel212 had been1961 in the midst8432 of a wheel.212

11 When they went,1980 they went1980 upon413 their four702 sides;7253 they turned5437 not3808 as they went,1980 but3588 to the place4725 whither834 the head7218 looked6437 they followed1980 310 it; they turned5437 not3808 as they went.1980

12 And their whole3605 body,1320 and their backs,1354 and their hands,3027 and their wings,3671 and the wheels,212 were full4392 of eyes5869 round about,5439 even the wheels212 that they four702 had.

13 As for the wheels,212 it was cried7121 unto them in my hearing,241 O wheel.1534

14 And every one259 had four702 faces:6440 the first259 face6440 was the face6440 of a cherub,3742 and the second8145 face6440 was the face6440 of a man,120 and the third7992 the face6440 of a lion,738 and the fourth7243 the face6440 of an eagle.5404

15 And the cherubims3742 were lifted up.7426 This1931 is the living creature2416 that834 I saw7200 by the river5104 of Chebar.3529

16 And when the cherubims3742 went,1980 the wheels212 went1980 by681 them: and when the cherubims3742 lifted up5375 853 their wings3671 to mount up7311 from4480 5921 the earth,776 the same1992 wheels212 also1571 turned5437 not3808 from beside4480 681 them.

17 When they stood,5975 these stood;5975 and when they were lifted up,7311 these lifted up7426 themselves also: for3588 the spirit7307 of the living creature2416 was in them.

18 Then the glory3519 of the LORD3068 departed3318 from off4480 5921 the threshold4670 of the house,1004 and stood5975 over5921 the cherubims.3742

19 And the cherubims3742 lifted up5375 853 their wings,3671 and mounted up7426 from4480 the earth776 in my sight:5869 when they went out,3318 the wheels212 also were beside5980 them, and every one stood5975 at the door6607 of the east6931 gate8179 of the LORD's3068 house;1004 and the glory3519 of the God430 of Israel3478 was over5921 them above.4480 4605

20 This1931 is the living creature2416 that834 I saw7200 under8478 the God430 of Israel3478 by the river5104 of Chebar;3529 and I knew3045 that3588 they1992 were the cherubims.3742

21 Every one259 had four faces apiece,702 702 6440 and every one259 four702 wings;3671 and the likeness1823 of the hands3027 of a man120 was under8478 their wings.3671

22 And the likeness1823 of their faces6440 was the same1992 faces6440 which834 I saw7200 by5921 the river5104 of Chebar,3529 their appearances4758 and themselves: they went1980 every one376 straight forward.413 5676 6440

1 Я посмотрел и увидел подобие престола из сапфира над сводом, что над головами херувимов.

2 Вечный сказал человеку, одетому в льняную одежду: – Войди между колёсами под херувимами. Возьми полные пригоршни горящих углей, которые между херувимами, и брось на город. Он вошёл, а я смотрел.

3 А херувимы стояли в южной части храма, когда тот человек вошёл, и облако наполняло внутренний двор.

4 Слава Вечного поднялась с херувима и перенеслась к порогу храма. Облако наполнило храм, а двор оказался залит сиянием славы Вечного.

5 Шум от крыльев херувимов был слышен даже на внешнем дворе, словно голос Всемогущего Бога, когда Он говорит.

6 И когда Вечный повелел человеку, одетому в льняную одежду: «Возьми огонь между колёсами, между херувимами», тот человек вошёл и встал у колеса.

7 Тогда один из херувимов протянул руку к огню, который был между херувимами, взял огонь и положил в руки человека, одетого в льняную одежду, который взял его и вышел.

8 (Под крыльями херувима видны были подобия человеческих рук.)

9 Я посмотрел и увидел рядом с херувимами четыре колеса, по одному рядом с каждым из херувимов; колёса искрились, как хризолит.

10 Что до их вида, то все четыре выглядели одинаково, словно колесо в колесе.

11 Двигаясь, они могли направляться в любую из четырёх сторон, куда были обращены херувимы; когда херувимы передвигались, колёса не поворачивались. Херувимы шли в ту сторону, куда была обращена голова, не оборачиваясь на ходу.

12 Все их тела, спины, руки и крылья были повсюду полны глаз, точно так же, как и их четыре колеса.

13 Я слышал, как колёса называли «смерчами».

14 У каждого из херувимов было четыре лица: одно – лицо херувима, другое – лицо человека, третье – лицо льва, а четвёртое – лицо орла.

15 Херувимы поднялись. Это были те самые живые существа, которых я видел у реки Кевара.

16 Когда херувимы двигались, двигались и колёса рядом с ними, а когда херувимы расправляли крылья, чтобы подняться с земли, то и колёса оставались рядом с ними.

17 Когда херувимы останавливались, останавливались и колёса, а когда херувимы поднимались, и они поднимались с ними, потому что дух живых существ был в них.

18 Слава Вечного покинула место над порогом храма и остановилась над херувимами.

19 На моих глазах херувимы расправили крылья и поднялись с земли; когда они двигались, колёса двигались вместе с ними. Они остановились у входа в восточные ворота дома Вечного, и слава Бога Исраила была над ними.

4 Слава Вечного поднялась с херувима и перенеслась к порогу храма. Облако наполнило храм, а двор оказался залит сиянием славы Вечного.

5 And the sound6963 of the cherubims'3742 wings3671 was heard8085 even to5704 the outer2435 court,2691 as the voice6963 of the Almighty7706 God410 when he speaketh.1696

5 Шум от крыльев херувимов был слышен даже на внешнем дворе, словно голос Всемогущего Бога, когда Он говорит.

9 Я посмотрел и увидел рядом с херувимами четыре колеса, по одному рядом с каждым из херувимов; колёса искрились, как хризолит.

11 Двигаясь, они могли направляться в любую из четырёх сторон, куда были обращены херувимы; когда херувимы передвигались, колёса не поворачивались. Херувимы шли в ту сторону, куда была обращена голова, не оборачиваясь на ходу.

12 And their whole3605 body,1320 and their backs,1354 and their hands,3027 and their wings,3671 and the wheels,212 were full4392 of eyes5869 round about,5439 even the wheels212 that they four702 had.

12 Все их тела, спины, руки и крылья были повсюду полны глаз, точно так же, как и их четыре колеса.

13 As for the wheels,212 it was cried7121 unto them in my hearing,241 O wheel.1534

13 Я слышал, как колёса называли «смерчами».

15 Херувимы поднялись. Это были те самые живые существа, которых я видел у реки Кевара.

16 And when the cherubims3742 went,1980 the wheels212 went1980 by681 them: and when the cherubims3742 lifted up5375 853 their wings3671 to mount up7311 from4480 5921 the earth,776 the same1992 wheels212 also1571 turned5437 not3808 from beside4480 681 them.

16 Когда херувимы двигались, двигались и колёса рядом с ними, а когда херувимы расправляли крылья, чтобы подняться с земли, то и колёса оставались рядом с ними.

17 When they stood,5975 these stood;5975 and when they were lifted up,7311 these lifted up7426 themselves also: for3588 the spirit7307 of the living creature2416 was in them.

19 На моих глазах херувимы расправили крылья и поднялись с земли; когда они двигались, колёса двигались вместе с ними. Они остановились у входа в восточные ворота дома Вечного, и слава Бога Исраила была над ними.
