1 Und853 Adam120 erkannte3045 sein Weib802 Heva, und853 sie ward schwanger2029 und3068 gebar3205 den Kain7014 und sprach559: Ich habe den Mann376, den HErrn7069.

2 And she again3254 bore3205 853 his brother251 853 Abel.1893 And Abel1893 was1961 a keeper7462 of sheep,6629 but Cain7014 was1961 a tiller5647 of the ground.127

2 Und6629 sie fuhr fort3254 und5647 gebar3205 Habel, seinen Bruder251. Und Habel ward ein Schäfer7462, Kain7014 aber ward ein Ackermann127.

3 And in process4480 7093 of time3117 it came to pass,1961 that Cain7014 brought935 of the fruit4480 6529 of the ground127 an offering4503 unto the LORD.3068

3 Es begab sich aber nach7093 etlichen Tagen3117, daß Kain7014 dem HErrn3068 Opfer4503 brachte935 von den Früchten6529 des Feldes127,

4 And Abel,1893 he1931 also1571 brought935 of the firstlings4480 1062 of his flock6629 and of the fat4480 2459 thereof. And the LORD3068 had respect8159 unto413 Abel1893 and to413 his offering: 4503

4 und Habel brachte935 auch1931 von den Erstlingen1062 seiner Herde6629 und von ihrem Fetten2459. Und der HErr3068 sah gnädiglich an8159 Habel und seine Opfer4503;

5 But unto413 Cain7014 and to413 his offering4503 he had not respect.8159 3808 And Cain7014 was very3966 wroth,2734 and his countenance6440 fell.5307

5 aber2734 Kain7014 und sein Opfer4503 sah er nicht gnädiglich an8159. Da ergrimmete Kain7014 sehr3966, und seine Gebärde6440 verstellte sich5307.

6 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Cain,7014 Why4100 art thou wroth?2734 and why4100 is thy countenance6440 fallen?5307
|
6 Da sprach559 der HErr3068 zu Kain7014: Warum ergrimmest du, und warum verstellet sich5307 deine Gebärde6440?

7 If518 thou doest well,3190 shalt thou not3808 be accepted?7613 and if518 thou doest not3808 well,3190 sin2403 lieth7257 at the door.6607 And unto413 thee shall be his desire,8669 and thou859 shalt rule4910 over him.
|
7 Ist‘s nicht also? wenn518 du fromm bist3190, so bist3190 du angenehm7613; bist du aber nicht fromm, so ruhet die Sünde2403 vor der Tür6607. Aber laß du ihr nicht ihren Willen, sondern herrsche4910 über sie.

8 And Cain7014 talked559 with413 Abel1893 his brother:251 and it came to pass,1961 when they were1961 in the field,7704 that Cain7014 rose up6965 against413 Abel1893 his brother,251 and slew2026 him.

8 Da redete559 Kain7014 mit413 seinem Bruder251 Habel. Und es begab sich, da sie auf6965 dem Felde7704 waren, erhub sich Kain7014 wider seinen Bruder251 Habel und schlug ihn tot2026.

9 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Cain,7014 Where335 is Abel1893 thy brother?251 And he said,559 I know3045 not:3808 Am I595 my brother's251 keeper?8104
|
9 Da sprach559 der HErr3068 zu Kain7014: Wo335 ist dein Bruder251 Habel? Er sprach559: Ich weiß3045 nicht; soll ich meines Bruders251 Hüter sein8104?

10 And he said,559 What4100 hast thou done?6213 the voice6963 of thy brother's251 blood1818 crieth6817 unto413 me from4480 the ground.127

10 Er aber sprach559: Was4100 hast du6817 getan6213? Die Stimme6963 deines Bruders251 Bluts1818 schreiet zu mir von der Erde127.

11 And now6258 art thou859 cursed779 from4480 the earth,127 which834 hath opened6475 853 her mouth6310 to receive3947 thy brother's251 853 blood1818 from thy hand;4480 3027
|
11 Und nun verflucht779 seiest du auf der Erde127, die ihr Maul6310 hat aufgetan6475 und deines Bruders251 Blut1818 von deinen Händen3027 empfangen3947.

12 When3588 thou tillest5647 853 the ground,127 it shall not3808 henceforth3254 yield5414 unto thee her strength;3581 a fugitive5128 and a vagabond5110 shalt thou be1961 in the earth.776
|
12 Wenn3588 du den Acker bauen wirst5647, soll er dir fort sein Vermögen3581 nicht3254 geben5414. Unstet5128 und776 flüchtig5110 sollst du sein auf Erden127.

13 And Cain7014 said559 unto413 the LORD,3068 My punishment5771 is greater1419 than I can bear.4480 5375
|
13 Kain7014 aber sprach559 zu dem HErrn3068: Meine Sünde5771 ist größer1419, denn daß sie mir vergeben werden möge5375.
|
|
14 Behold,2005 thou hast driven me out1644 853 this day3117 from4480 5921 the face6440 of the earth;127 and from thy face4480 6440 shall I be hid;5641 and I shall be1961 a fugitive5128 and a vagabond5110 in the earth;776 and it shall come to pass,1961 that every one3605 that findeth4672 me shall slay2026 me.

14 Siehe, du treibest mich heute3117 aus dem Lande6440 und776 muß mich vor5921 deinem Angesicht verbergen5641 und muß unstet5128 und flüchtig5110 sein1961 auf6440 Erden127. So wird mir‘s gehen, daß mich totschlage2026, wer mich findet4672.

15 And the LORD3068 said559 unto him, Therefore3651 whosoever3605 slayeth2026 Cain,7014 vengeance shall be taken5358 on him sevenfold.7659 And the LORD3068 set7760 a mark226 upon Cain,7014 lest1115 any3605 finding4672 him should kill5221 him.

15 Aber der HErr3068 sprach559 zu ihm: Nein, sondern3651 wer Kain7014 totschlägt2026, das soll siebenfältig7659 gerochen werden5358. Und der HErr3068 machte7760 ein Zeichen226 an Kain7014, daß ihn niemand1115 erschlüge5221, wer ihn fände4672.

16 And Cain7014 went out3318 from the presence4480 6440 of the LORD,3068 and dwelt3427 in the land776 of Nod,5113 on the east6926 of Eden.5731

16 Also ging Kain7014 von3318 dem Angesicht des HErrn3068 und776 wohnete im Lande6440 Nod5113, jenseit6926 Eden5731, gegen Morgen.

17 And Cain7014 knew3045 853 his wife;802 and she conceived,2029 and bore3205 853 Enoch:2585 and he built1961 1129 a city,5892 and called7121 the name8034 of the city,5892 after the name8034 of his son,1121 Enoch.2585

17 Und5892 Kain7014 erkannte3045 sein Weib802, die8034 ward schwanger2029 und gebar3205 den Hanoch. Und er2585 bauete eine Stadt5892, die nannte7121 er1129 nach seines Sohnes1121 Namen8034 Hanoch.

18 And unto Enoch2585 was born3205 853 Irad:5897 and Irad5897 begot3205 853 Mehujael:4232 and Mehujael4232 begot3205 853 Methusael:4967 and Methusael4967 begot3205 853 Lamech.3929

18 Hanoch aber zeugete Irad5897, Irad5897 zeugete Mahujael4232, Mahujael4232 zeugete Methusael4967, Methusael4967 zeugete Lamech3929.

19 And Lamech3929 took3947 unto him two8147 wives:802 the name8034 of the one259 was Adah,5711 and the name8034 of the other8145 Zillah.6741

19 Lamech3929 aber nahm3947 zwei8147 Weiber802; eine259 hieß8034 Ada5711, die8034 andere8145 Zilla6741.
|
|
20 And Adah5711 bore3205 853 Jabal:2989 he1931 was1961 the father1 of such as dwell3427 in tents,168 and of such as have cattle.4735

20 Und Ada5711 gebar3205 Jabal2989; von dem1 sind herkommen, die3427 in Hütten168 wohneten und Vieh4735 zogen.

21 And his brother's251 name8034 was Jubal:3106 he1931 was1961 the father1 of all3605 such as handle8610 the harp3658 and organ.5748
|
21 Und sein Bruder251 hieß8034 Jubal3106; von dem1 sind8610 herkommen die Geiger3658 und Pfeifer5748.
|
|
22 And Zillah,6741 she1931 also1571 bore3205 853 Tubal-cain,8423 an instructor3913 of every3605 artificer2794 in brass5178 and iron:1270 and the sister269 of Tubal-cain8423 was Naamah.5279
|
22 Die Zilla6741 aber gebar3205 auch, nämlich dem Thubalkain8423, den Meister3913 in allerlei Erz und5178 Eisenwerk1270. Und die Schwester269 des Thubalkain8423 war Naema5279.

23 And Lamech3929 said559 unto his wives,802 Adah5711 and Zillah,6741 Hear8085 my voice;6963 ye wives802 of Lamech,3929 hearken238 unto my speech:565 for3588 I have slain2026 a man376 to my wounding,6482 and a young man3206 to my hurt.2250

23 Und Lamech3929 sprach559 zu8085 seinen Weibern802, Ada5711 und Zilla6741: Ihr Weiber802 Lamechs, höret meine Rede6963 und merket, was ich sage565: Ich habe2026 einen Mann376 erschlagen mir zur Wunde6482 und einen Jüngling3206 mir zur Beule2250.

24 If3588 Cain7014 shall be avenged5358 sevenfold,7659 truly Lamech3929 seventy7657 and sevenfold.7651

24 Kain7014 soll siebenmal7659 gerochen werden5358, aber3588 Lamech3929 siebenundsiebenzigmal.

25 And Adam121 knew3045 853 his wife802 again;5750 and she bore3205 a son,1121 and called7121 his853 name8034 Seth:8352 For3588 God,430 said she, hath appointed7896 me another312 seed2233 instead of8478 Abel,1893 whom Cain7014 slew.2026

25 Adam120 erkannte3045 abermal sein Weib802, und sie gebar3205 einen Sohn1121, den8034 hieß7121 sie Seth8352; denn3588 GOtt430 hat2026 mir, sprach sie, einen andern312 Samen2233 gesetzt7896 für8478 Habel, den Kain7014 erwürget hat.

26 And to Seth,8352 to him1931 also1571 there was born3205 a son;1121 and he called7121 853 his name8034 Enos:583 then227 began2490 men to call7121 upon the name8034 of the LORD.3068

26 Und Seth8352 zeugete auch1931 einen Sohn1121 und hieß7121 ihn8034 Enos583. Zu derselbigen Zeit fing man2490 an7121 zu predigen von des HErrn3068 Namen8034.
