3 Among1722 whom3739 also2532 we2249 all3956 had our conversation390 in times past4218 in1722 the3588 lusts1939 of our2257 flesh,4561 fulfilling4160 the3588 desires2307 of the3588 flesh4561 and2532 of the3588 mind;1271 and2532 were2258 by nature5449 the children5043 of wrath,3709 even2532 as5613 others.3062

15 Having abolished2673 in1722 his848 flesh4561 the3588 enmity,2189 even the3588 law3551 of commandments1785 contained in1722 ordinances;1378 for to2443 make2936 in1722 himself1438 of twain1417 1519 one1520 new2537 man,444 so making4160 peace;1515

16 And2532 that he might reconcile604 both297 unto God2316 in1722 one1520 body4983 by1223 the3588 cross,4716 having slain615 the3588 enmity2189 thereby:1722 846

17 And2532 came2064 and preached2097 peace1515 to you5213 which were afar off,3112 and2532 to them that were nigh.1451

18 For3754 through1223 him846 we both297 have2192 access4318 by1722 one1520 Spirit4151 unto4314 the3588 Father.3962

19 Now686 therefore3767 ye are2075 no more3765 strangers3581 and2532 foreigners,3941 but235 fellow citizens4847 with the3588 saints,40 and2532 of the household3609 of God;2316

20 And are built2026 upon1909 the3588 foundation2310 of the3588 apostles652 and2532 prophets,4396 Jesus2424 Christ5547 himself846 being5607 the chief corner204 stone;

21 In1722 whom3739 all3956 the3588 building3619 fitly framed together4883 groweth837 unto1519 a holy40 temple3485 in1722 the Lord: 2962

以弗所書

第2章

1 你們死在過犯罪惡之中，他叫你們活過來。

2 那時，你們在其中行事為人，隨從今世的風俗，順服空中掌權者的首領，就是現今在叛逆之子心中運行的邪靈。

3 我們從前也都在他們中間，放縱肉體的私慾而行［conversation］，隨著肉體和心中所喜好的求滿足［fulfilling］，本為可怒之子，和別人一樣。

4 然而，神既有豐富的憐憫，因他愛我們的大愛，

5 當我們死在罪惡［sins］中的時候，便叫我們與基督一同活過來。（你們得救是本乎恩。）

6 他又叫我們一同復活［raised us up together］，又使我們在基督耶穌裏一同坐在天上［made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus］，

7 要將他極豐富的恩典，就是他藉著基督耶穌［through Christ Jesus］向我們所施的恩慈，顯明給後來的世代看。

8 你們得救是本乎恩，也藉［through］著信；這並不是出於自己，乃是神所賜的；

9 也不是出於行為，免得有人自誇。

10 我們原是他的工作，在基督耶穌裏創造而成［created］的，為要叫我們行善，就是神所預定［ordained］叫我們行的。

11 所以你們應當記念：你們從前按肉體是外邦人，是稱為沒受割禮的；這名原是那些憑人手在肉身上稱為受割禮之人所起的。

12 那時，你們沒有［without］基督，在以色列國民以外，在所應許的諸約上是局外人，並且活在世上沒有盼望［hope］，沒有神。

13 你們從前遠離神的人，如今卻在基督耶穌裏，靠著基督［Christ］的血，已經得親近了。

14 他是我們的和睦［For he is our peace］，將兩下合而為一，拆毀了我們［us］中間隔斷的牆；

15 而且以自己的身體廢掉冤仇，就是那記在律法上的規條，為要將兩下藉著自己造成一個新人，如此便成就了和睦。

16 既在十字架上滅了冤仇，便藉這十字架使兩下歸為一體，與神和好了，

17 並且來傳和平的福音給你們遠處的人，也給那近處的人。

18 因為我們兩下藉著他被一個靈［Spirit］所感，得以進到父面前。

19 因此［therefore］，你們不再作外人和客旅，是與聖徒同國，是神家裏的人了；

20 並且被建造在使徒和先知的根基上，有耶穌基督［Jesus Christ］自己為房角石，

21 全房［all the building］靠他聯絡得合式，漸漸成為主的聖殿。

22 你們也靠他同被建造，成為神藉著靈［Spirit］居住的所在。
