4 惟上帝洪慈、愛我甚溥、

5 當我陷罪如死時、乃使我與基督俱甦、而爾曹以恩得救矣、

6 夫上帝因基督耶穌甦我儕、賜同坐於天、

7 上帝因基督耶穌慈愛我儕、示後世知厥恩莫大、

8 蓋爾曹以恩得救、由於信主、非由己也、上帝所賜、

9 非恃功、無可誇、

10 上帝預定我從善、以基督耶穌造我、使我行善焉、

11 宜思爾族爲異邦人、惟外貌受人割禮者、議爾未嘗受割、

12 當時爾遠基督、以色列之政不與、諸應許之約不及、悉無所望、處世不識上帝、

13 今則宗基督耶穌、爾曩遠離之者、覺賴其血而得近矣、

14 彼和我儕、去藩籬之隔、使二爲一、

15 惟有守法之儀文、故我儕相敵、基督身死而廢之、使二爲一、而相和如新造之人、

16 基督死於十字架、使我儕敵意不萌、聯二者爲一體、俾得親於上帝、

17 遂至傳平和福音、與在遠在近者、

18 賴基督二者以一神得謁天父、

19 於是爾曹不復爲外邦異家、乃與聖徒一邦、與上帝之人一家、

20 以使徒先知爲基、以耶穌基督爲屋隅要石、而建其上、

21 四宇搆合、築爲主之聖殿、

22 在此殿、爾曹賴聖神共建、爲上帝所居焉。
