1 Und der HErr3068 redete1696 mit Mose4872 auf dem Gefilde6160 der Moabiter4124 am Jordan3383 gegen Jericho3405 und sprach559:

2 Command6680 the children1121 of Israel,3478 that they give5414 to the Levites3881 of the inheritance5159 of their possession272 cities5892 to dwell3427 in; and you shall give5414 also to the Levites3881 suburbs4054 for the cities5892 round5439 about them.

2 Gebeut den Kindern1121 Israel3478, daß sie6680 den Leviten3881 Städte5892 geben5414 von5439 ihren Erbgütern5159, da sie5414 wohnen3427 mögen;

|
3 And the cities5892 shall they have1961 to dwell3427 in; and the suburbs4054 of them shall be for their cattle,929 and for their goods,7399 and for all3605 their beasts.2416
|
3 dazu die Vorstädte4054 um die Städte her sollt ihr3427 den Leviten auch geben, daß sie in den Städten5892 wohnen und in den Vorstädten ihr Vieh929 und Gut7399 und allerlei Tiere2416 haben.

4 And the suburbs4054 of the cities,5892 which834 you shall give5414 to the Levites,3881 shall reach from the wall7023 of the city5892 and outward2435 a thousand505 cubits520 round5439 about.

4 Die Weite aber der Vorstädte4054, die sie den Leviten3881 geben5414, soll tausend505 Ellen520 außer der Stadtmauer7023 umher5439 haben.

5 And you shall measure4058 from without2351 the city5892 on5921 the east6924 side6285 two thousand505 cubits,520 and on5921 the south5045 side6285 two thousand505 cubits,520 and on5921 the west3220 side6285 two thousand505 cubits,520 and on5921 the north6828 side6285 two thousand505 cubits;520 and the city5892 shall be in the middle:8432 this2088 shall be to them the suburbs4054 of the cities.5892

5 So sollt ihr nun messen4058 außen2351 an der Stadt5892 von der Ecke6285 gegen dem Morgen6924 zweitausend505 Ellen520 und5892 von der Ecke6285 gegen Mittag5045 zweitausend505 Ellen520 und von der Ecke6285 gegen dem Abend3220 zweitausend505 Ellen520 und von der Ecke6285 gegen Mitternacht6828 zweitausend505 Ellen520, daß die Stadt5892 im8432 Mittel sei. Das sollen ihre Vorstädte4054 sein.

6 And among854 the cities5892 which you shall give5414 to the Levites3881 there shall be six8337 cities5892 for refuge,4733 which834 you shall appoint5414 for the manslayer,7523 that he may flee5127 thither:8033 and to them you shall add5414 forty705 and two8147 cities.5892

6 Und5892 unter den Städten5892, die ihr den Leviten3881 geben5414 werdet, sollt ihr sechs8337 Freistädte geben5414, daß da hineinfliehe, wer einen Totschlag getan hat7523. Über dieselben sollt ihr noch zwoundvierzig Städte5892 geben5414,

7 So all3605 the cities5892 which834 you shall give5414 to the Levites3881 shall be forty705 and eight8083 cities:5892 them shall you give with their suburbs.4054

7 daß alle Städte5892, die ihr den Leviten3881 gebet, seien achtundvierzig8083 mit ihren Vorstädten4054.

8 And the cities5892 which834 you shall give5414 shall be of the possession272 of the children1121 of Israel:3478 from them that have many7227 you shall give many;7235 but from them that have few4592 you shall give few:4591 every376 one376 shall give5414 of his cities5892 to the Levites3881 according6310 to his inheritance5159 which834 he inherits.5157

8 Und sollt derselben5892 desto mehr7227 geben5414 von denen, die viel7235 besitzen272 unter den Kindern1121 Israel3478, und desto weniger4591 von denen, die wenig4592 besitzen5157; ein376 jeglicher nach6310 seinem Erbteil5159, das ihm zugeteilet wird, soll Städte5892 den Leviten3881 geben5414.

9 And the LORD3068 spoke1696 to Moses,4872 saying,559

9 Und der HErr3068 redete1696 mit Mose4872 und sprach559:

10 Speak1696 to the children1121 of Israel,3478 and say559 to them, When3588 you be come5674 over5674 Jordan3383 into the land776 of Canaan;3667

10 Rede mit den Kindern1121 Israel3478 und559 sprich1696 zu ihnen: Wenn ihr über5674 den Jordan3383 ins Land776 Kanaan3667 kommt,

11 Then you shall appoint7136 you cities5892 to be cities5892 of refuge4733 for you; that the slayer7523 may flee5127 thither,8033 which kills5221 any person5315 at unawares.7684
|
11 sollt7136 ihr Städte5892 auswählen, daß Freistädte5892 seien; dahin fliehe5127, der einen Totschlag5315 unversehens7684 tut5221.
|
|
12 And they shall be to you cities5892 for refuge4733 from the avenger;1350 that the manslayer7523 die4191 not, until5704 he stand5975 before6440 the congregation5712 in judgment.4941
|
12 Und5892 sollen unter6440 euch solche Freistädte4733 sein vor dem Bluträcher, daß der nicht sterben4191 müsse, der einen Totschlag getan hat1350, bis daß er vor der Gemeine vor Gericht4941 gestanden5975 sei.

13 And of these cities5892 which834 you shall give5414 six8337 cities5892 shall you have1961 for refuge.4733

13 Und5892 der Städte5892, die ihr geben5414 werdet, sollen sechs8337 Freistädte sein.
|
|
14 You shall give5414 three7969 cities5892 on5921 this side5676 Jordan,3383 and three7969 cities5892 shall you give5414 in the land776 of Canaan,3667 which shall be cities5892 of refuge.4733
|
14 Drei7969 sollt ihr geben5414 diesseit5676 des Jordans3383 und5892 drei7969 im Lande776 Kanaan3667.
|
|
15 These428 six8337 cities5892 shall be a refuge,4733 both for the children1121 of Israel,3478 and for the stranger,1616 and for the sojourner8453 among8432 them: that every3605 one that kills5221 any person5315 unawares7684 may flee5127 thither.8033
|
15 Das sind die sechs8337 Freistädte4733, beide den Kindern1121 Israel3478 und5892 den Fremdlingen1616 und den Hausgenossen unter8432 euch5315, daß dahin fliehe5127, wer einen Totschlag getan hat5221 unversehens7684.
|
|
16 And if518 he smite5221 him with an instrument3627 of iron,1270 so that he die,4191 he is a murderer:7523 the murderer7523 shall surely be put to death.4191
|
16 Wer jemand mit einem Eisen1270 schlägt5221, daß er stirbt4191, der ist ein Totschläger7523 und7523 soll des Todes4191 sterben4191.
|
|
17 And if518 he smite5221 him with throwing3027 a stone,68 with which834 he may die,4191 and he die,4191 he is a murderer:7523 the murderer7523 shall surely be put to death.4191
|
17 Wirft er5221 ihn3027 mit einem Stein68, damit jemand4191 mag getötet werden, daß er davon stirbt4191, so ist er ein Totschläger7523 und7523 soll des Todes4191 sterben4191.

18 Or176 if518 he smite5221 him with an hand3027 weapon3627 of wood,6086 with which834 he may die,4191 and he die,4191 he is a murderer:7523 the murderer7523 shall surely be put to death.4191
|
18 Schlägt5221 er ihn3027 aber mit einem Holz6086, damit jemand4191 mag totgeschlagen werden, daß er stirbt4191, so ist er ein Totschläger7523 und7523 soll des Todes4191 sterben4191.

|
19 The revenger1350 of blood1818 himself1931 shall slay4191 the murderer:7523 when he meets6293 him, he shall slay4191 him.
|
19 Der Rächer des Bluts1818 soll den Totschläger7523 zum Tode bringen4191; wie er1931 geschlagen hat1350, soll man ihn6293 wieder töten4191.
|
|
20 But if518 he thrust1920 him of hatred,8135 or176 hurl7993 at him by laying of wait,6660 that he die;4191
|
20 Stößt er1920 ihn aus Haß8135, oder wirft etwas auf ihn aus List6660, daß er stirbt4191,
|
|
21 Or176 in enmity342 smite5221 him with his hand,3027 that he die:4191 he that smote5221 him shall surely be put to death;4191 for he is a murderer:7523 the revenger1350 of blood1818 shall slay4191 the murderer,7523 when he meets6293 him.
|
21 oder schlägt5221 ihn6293 durch Feindschaft342 mit seiner Hand3027, daß er5221 stirbt4191, so soll der des Todes4191 sterben4191, der ihn geschlagen hat7523; denn er ist ein Totschläger7523; der Rächer1350 des Bluts1818 soll ihn zum Tode bringen4191.

22 But if518 he thrust1920 him suddenly6621 without3808 enmity, or176 have cast7993 on him any3605 thing3627 without3808 laying of wait,6660
|
22 Wenn er1920 ihn aber ohngefähr stößt ohne3808 Feindschaft342, oder wirft7993 irgend etwas3627 auf ihn unversehens6621,
|
|
23 Or176 with any3605 stone,68 with which834 a man may die,4191 seeing7200 him not, and cast5307 it on him, that he die,4191 and was not his enemy,341 neither3808 sought1245 his harm:7451
|
23 oder irgend einen Stein68, davon man sterben4191 mag, und hat‘s1245 nicht3808 gesehen7200, auf ihn wirft5307, daß er stirbt4191, und er ist nicht7451 sein Feind341, hat ihm auch kein Übels gewollt:

24 Then the congregation5712 shall judge8199 between996 the slayer5221 and the revenger1350 of blood1818 according5921 to these428 judgments:4941
|
24 so soll die Gemeine richten8199 zwischen dem, der geschlagen5221 hat1350, und dem Rächer des Bluts1818 in diesem Gericht4941.
|
|
25 And the congregation5712 shall deliver5337 the slayer7523 out of the hand3027 of the revenger1350 of blood,1818 and the congregation5712 shall restore7725 him to the city5892 of his refuge,4733 where834 8033 he was fled:5127 and he shall abide3427 in it to the death4194 of the high1419 priest,3548 which834 was anointed4886 with the holy6944 oil.8081

25 Und5892 die3427 Gemeine soll den Totschläger erretten5337 von der Hand3027 des Bluträchers1350 und3548 soll ihn wiederkommen7725 lassen zu der Freistadt, dahin er geflohen war5127; und soll daselbst bleiben, bis daß der Hoheprie ster sterbe4194, den man mit dem heiligen6944 Öl8081 gesalbet hat7523.

26 But if518 the slayer7523 shall at any time come3318 without the border1366 of the city5892 of his refuge,4733 where834 8033 he was fled;5127
|
26 Wird aber der Totschläger7523 aus3318 seiner Freistadt5892 Grenze1366 gehen3318, dahin er geflohen5127 ist,
|
|
27 And the revenger1350 of blood1818 find4672 him without2351 the borders1366 of the city5892 of his refuge,4733 and the revenger1350 of blood1818 kill7523 the slayer;7523 he shall not be guilty of blood:1818
|
27 und5892 der Bluträcher1350 findet4672 ihn7523 außer der Grenze1366 seiner Freistadt und schlägt ihn7523 tot, der soll des Bluts1818 nicht schuldig sein.
|
|
28 Because3588 he should have remained3427 in the city5892 of his refuge4733 until5704 the death4194 of the high1419 priest:3548 but after310 the death4194 of the high1419 priest3548 the slayer7523 shall return7725 into413 the land776 of his possession.272
|
28 Denn er3548 sollte in seiner3548 Freistadt bleiben3427 bis an den Tod4194 des Hohenpriesters1419, und5892 nach310 des Hohenpriesters1419 Tod4194 wieder7725 zum Lande776 seines Erbguts272 kommen.
|
|
29 So these428 things shall be for a statute2708 of judgment4941 to you throughout your generations1755 in all3605 your dwellings.4186

29 Das so Il euch ein Recht2708 sein bei4186 euren Nachkommen1755, wo ihr wohnet.
|
|
30 Whoever3605 kills5221 any person,5315 the murderer7523 shall be put to death7523 by the mouth6310 of witnesses:5707 but one259 witness5707 shall not testify6030 against any person5315 to cause him to die.4191
|
30 Den5315 Totschläger7523 soll man töten5221 nach dem Mund6310 zweier Zeugen5707. Ein259 Zeuge5707 soll nicht antworten6030 über eine See LE5315 zum Tode4191.
|
|
31 Moreover you shall take3947 no3808 satisfaction3724 for the life5315 of a murderer,7523 which834 is guilty7563 of death:4191 but he shall be surely put to death.4191
|
31 Und7523 ihr sollt keine Versöhnung3724 nehmen über die See LE5315 des Totschlägers; denn er ist3947 des Todes4191 schuldig7563, und er soll des Todes4191 sterben4191.
|
|
32 And you shall take3947 no3808 satisfaction3724 for him that is fled5127 to the city5892 of his refuge,4733 that he should come7725 again7725 to dwell3427 in the land,776 until5704 the death4194 of the priest.3548
|
32 Und5892 sollt keine Versöhnung3724 nehmen über dem, der zur Freistadt geflohen5127 ist3947, daß er wiederkomme7725, zu wohnen3427 im Lande776, bis der Priester3548 sterbe4194.
|
|
33 So you shall not pollute2610 the land776 wherein834 you are: for blood1818 it defiles2610 the land:776 and the land776 cannot3308 be cleansed3722 of the blood1818 that is shed8210 therein, but by the blood1818 of him that shed8210 it.
|
33 Und schändet2610 das Land776 nicht, darinnen ihr wohnet. Denn wer Blut1818 schuldig ist, der schändet2610 das Land776; und das Land776 kann vom Blut1818 nicht versöhnet3722 werden, das darinnen vergossen wird8210, ohne durch das Blut1818 des, der es vergossen hat8210.

34 Defile2930 not therefore the land776 which834 you shall inhabit,3427 wherein834 8432 I dwell:7931 for I the LORD3068 dwell7931 among8432 the children1121 of Israel.3478
|
34 Verunreiniget das Land776 nicht, darinnen ihr wohnet, darinnen ich auch wohne3427; denn ich bin der HErr3068, der unter8432 den Kindern1121 Israel3478 wohnet.
