阿摩司書

第9章

1 我看見主站在祭壇上［upon］；他說：你要擊打門楣［lintel of the door］，使門框［posts］震動，使門頂砍在眾人頭上［cut them in the head, all of them］；所剩下的人，我必用刀殺戮，逃避的不能逃避［he that fleeth of them shall not flee away］，逃脫的不能得救［he that escapeth of them shall not be delivered］。

2 他們雖然挖透地獄［hell］，我的手必取出他們來。雖然爬上天去，我必拿下他們來。

3 雖然藏在迦密山頂，我必搜尋，捉出他們來；雖然從我眼前藏在海底，我必命蛇咬他們；

4 雖被仇敵擄去，我必命刀劍殺戮他們；我必向他們定住眼目，降禍不降福。

5 主─大軍之耶和華摸地，地就熔化［melt］，凡住在地上的都必悲哀。地必全然像洪水［flood］漲起，如被埃及的洪水淹沒［drowned, as by the flood of Egypt］。

6 那造層在天［buildeth his stories in the heaven］、立軍於地［founded his troop in the earth］、命海水澆在地上的─耶和華是他的名。

7 耶和華說：以色列人哪，我豈不看你們如埃塞俄比亞人嗎？我豈不是領以色列［Israel］出埃及地嗎？不是［not］領非利士人出迦斐託，領敘利亞人出吉珥嗎？

8 看哪［Behold］，主耶和華的眼目察看這有罪的國，必將這國從地上滅絕，卻不將雅各家滅絕淨盡。這是耶和華說的。

9 看哪［lo］，我必出令，將以色列家分散在列國中，好像用篩子篩穀，連一粒也不落在地上。

10 我民中的一切罪人說：災禍必追不上我們，也迎不著我們。他們必死在刀下。

11 到那日，我必興起［raise up］大衛倒塌的帳幕，堵住其中的破口，把那破壞的興起來［raise up］，重新修造，像古時一樣，

12 使以色列人得以東所餘剩的和所有稱為我名下的一切異教之民［all the heathen］，此乃行這事的耶和華說的。

13 耶和華說：看哪［Behold］，日子將到，耕種的必接續收割的；踹葡萄的必接續撒種的；大山要滴下甜酒；小山都必熔化［melt］。

14 我必再領［bring again］我民以色列被擄的歸回；他們必重修荒廢的城邑居住，栽種葡萄園，喝其中所出的酒，修造果木園，吃其中的果子。

15 我要將他們栽於本地，他們不再從我所賜給他們的地上拔出來。這是耶和華─你的神說的。

Chapter 9

1 I SAW the LORD standing over the altar; and he said, Smite the lintel of the door, that the thresholds may shake; and let their treachery be upon the heads of all of them, and I will slay those who are left of them with the sword; he that flees of them shall not escape, and he that is spared of them shall not be delivered.

2 Though they go down into Sheol, thence shall my hand bring them up; though they climb to heaven, thence will I bring them down;

3 And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out from there; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, there I will command the serpent and it shall bite them;

4 And though they go into captivity before their enemies, there I will command the sword, and it shall slay them; and I will set my eyes upon them for evil and not for good;

5 Says the LORD God of hosts, who touches the earth and it quakes, and all who dwell in it mourn; and the end shall rise up like a river, and shall recede like the river of Egypt:

6 It is he who has built his stories in heaven, and has made his possessions in the earth; who calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out upon the face of the earth; the LORD of hosts is his name.

7 Behold, you are like the Ethiopians to me, O children of Israel! says the LORD. Behold, I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt and the Philistines from Capadocia and the Arameans from Kir.

8 Behold, the eyes of the LORD God are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; but I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, says the LORD.

9 For behold, I will command, and I will scatter the house of Israel among all nations as they sift wheat in a sieve, but not even the smallest grain of it shall fall upon the ground.

10 All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, who say, The evil shall not touch us nor overtake us.

11 In that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen and close up its breaches, and I will raise up its ruins and I will build it as in the days of old, and as in the years of many generations.

12 For they shall possess the remnant of Edom, and all the Gentiles who are called by my name, says the LORD who does these things.

13 Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when the threshing floor shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that sows seed; and the mountains shall drop sweetness, and all the hills shall rejoice.

14 And I will bring back the captivity of my people Israel, and they shall build the ruined cities and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards and drink the wine thereof; they shall also plant gardens and eat the fruit of them.

15 And I will plant them upon their own land, and they shall no more be uprooted from the land which I have given them, says the LORD your God.

6 那造層在天［buildeth his stories in the heaven］、立軍於地［founded his troop in the earth］、命海水澆在地上的─耶和華是他的名。	6 It is he who has built his stories in heaven, and has made his possessions in the earth; who calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out upon the face of the earth; the LORD of hosts is his name.
