約拿書

第2章

1 約拿在魚腹中禱告耶和華─他的神，

2 說：我遭遇患難呼求［cried］耶和華，你就聽允［heard］我；從地獄［hell］的腹中［belly］呼求，你就俯聽我的聲音。

3 你將我投下深淵，就在［in］海中［midst］；大水環繞我。你的洪濤［billows］波浪［waves］都漫過我身。

4 於是［Then］我說：從你的眼前我被驅逐［I am cast out of thy sight］；雖是這樣［yet］，我必［will］再［again］仰望你的聖殿。

5 諸水環繞我，幾乎淹沒我；深淵四面幽閉我［closed me round about］，海草纏繞我的頭。

6 我下到山根，地的門將我永遠圍［about］住。耶和華─我的神啊，你卻將我的性命從朽壞［corruption］中救出來。

7 我心在我裏面發昏的時候，我就想念耶和華。我的禱告進入你的聖殿，達到你的面前。

8 那些注看虛謊的人［They that observe lying vanities］，丟棄他們自己的憐憫［forsake their own mercy］。

9 但我必用感謝的聲音獻祭與你。我所許的願，我必償還。救恩出於耶和華。

10 耶和華曉諭［spake unto］魚，魚就把約拿吐在旱地上。

Jonah

Chapter 2

1 Then Jonah3124 prayed6419 to the LORD3068 his God430 out of the fish's1710 belly,4578

2 And said,559 I cried7121 by reason of my affliction6869 to the LORD,3068 and he heard6030 me; out of the belly990 of hell7585 cried7768 I, and you heard8085 my voice.6963

3 For you had cast7993 me into the deep,4688 in the middle3824 of the seas;3220 and the floods5104 compassed5437 me about: all3605 your billows4867 and your waves1530 passed5674 over5674 me.

4 Then I said,559 I am cast1644 out of your sight;5869 yet389 I will look5027 again3254 toward413 your holy6944 temple.1964

5 The waters4325 compassed661 me about, even to the soul:5315 the depth8415 closed5437 me round5437 about, the weeds5488 were wrapped2280 about my head.7218

6 I went3381 down3381 to the bottoms7095 of the mountains;2022 the earth776 with her bars1280 was about1157 me for ever:5769 yet have you brought5927 up my life2416 from corruption,7845 O LORD3068 my God.430

7 When my soul5315 fainted5848 within5921 me I remembered2142 the LORD:3068 and my prayer8605 came935 in to you, into413 your holy6944 temple.1964

8 They that observe8104 lying7723 vanities1892 forsake5800 their own mercy.2617

9 But I will sacrifice2076 to you with the voice6963 of thanksgiving;8426 I will pay7999 that that I have vowed.5087 Salvation3444 is of the LORD.3068

10 And the LORD3068 spoke559 to the fish,1709 and it vomited6958 out Jonah3124 on the dry3004 land.3004

1 Then Jonah3124 prayed6419 to the LORD3068 his God430 out of the fish's1710 belly,4578
