1 示拿王暗喇非、以拉撒王亞畧，以攔王基大老馬，列邦王提達 |
|
2 與所多馬王庇喇，蛾摩拉王庇沙，押馬王示納，西編王示米別及庇拉卽瑣耳王戰。 |
|
3 所多馬五王，咸會於西亭谷，後之鹽海卽其地也， |
|
4 蓋此五王，事基大老馬。歷十有二年，至十三年叛。 |
|
5 十四年基大老馬與同盟諸王，來擊亞提律加寧之哩乏音人，哈麥之蘇西人，沙微基烈亭之以米人， |
|
6 西耳山之何哩人，至鄰於曠野之耳巴蘭， |
|
7 同盟列王，歸至安密八卽迦鐵，擊亞馬勒地及哈洗遜大馬之亞摩哩人。 |
|
8 時所多馬王，蛾摩拉王，押馬王，西編王，庇拉卽瑣耳王，皆出陳於西亭谷， |
|
9 戰以攔王基大老馬列邦王提達，示拿王暗喇非，以拉撒王亞畧，四王敵五王。 |
|
10 西亭谷多石油坑，所多馬王，蛾摩拉王奔而陷坑，其餘遁於山， |
|
11 敵奪所多馬蛾摩拉人輜重糗糧而去， |
|
12 亞伯蘭姪羅得居所多馬，故人與物皆被虜。 |
|
13 有遁逃者報希伯來人亞伯蘭，亞伯蘭處近亞摩哩人慢哩之橡，慢哩與兄弟以實各、亞乃。俱與亞伯蘭盟約， |
|
14 亞伯蘭聞姪被虜，遂率習練之僕隸，素育於家者，三百一十八人，追敵至但， |
|
15 分其隊伍，乘夜攻擊，又追至大馬色北之何巴。 |
|
16 奪回所虜之輜重，以及人民婦女，與姪羅得，曁凡所有。〇 |
|
17 |
|
18 而接之，撒冷王麥基洗德爲至高上帝之祭司，挈餅與酒而出， |
|
19 祝之曰：願天地之主，至高上帝錫嘏於亞伯蘭， |
|
20 至高上帝使爾制敵，當頌美之，亞伯蘭以所獲者，什一奉麥基洗德， |
|
21 所多馬王謂亞伯蘭曰：以人歸我，物任爾取。 |
|
22 亞伯蘭曰：吾指至高之上帝，天地之主，耶和華而誓， |
|
23 不取爾一絲縷，一履帶，恐爾謂以富加諸我。 |
|
24 惟少者所食，及同行之亞乃，以實各，慢哩，所應得者，可任意以取。 |
GenesisChapter 14 |
|
1 AND it came to pass in the days of Amarphel king of Sinar, Arioch king of Dalasar, Cardlaamar king of Elam, and Tarael king of Gelites |
|
2 That these made war with Bera king of Sodom, Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, Shemer king of Zeboim, and the king of Bela, that is, Zoar. |
|
3 All of these joined together in the valley of Siddim, which is the Salt Sea. |
|
4 Twelve years they served Cardlaamar, and in the thirteenth year they rebelled. |
|
5 And in the fourteenth year came Cardlaamar, and the kings that were with him, and smote the mighty men who were in Ashteroth Karnaim and the valiant men who were in the city, and the Emins in Shaveh Koriathaim, |
|
6 And the Horites in the mountains of Seir, as far as the oak of Paran, which is in the wilderness. |
|
7 And they returned, and came to En-dina, which is Rakim (Kadesh) and they smote all the princes of the Amalekites and also the Amorites who dwelt in En-gad. |
|
8 And there went out the king of Sodom, the king of Gomorrah, the king of Admah, the king of Zeboim, and the king of Bela (that is, Zoar); all of these made war in the valley of Siddim, |
|
9 With Cardlaamar, the king of Elam, Tarael the king of Gelites, Amarphel king of Sinar, and Arioch king of Dalasar; four kings against five. |
|
10 And the valley of Siddim was full of bitumen pits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there; and those who survived fled to the mountain. |
|
11 And the raiders took all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all their provisions, and went their way. |
|
12 And they carried away Lot, Abram's brother's son, who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed. |
|
13 And there came one who escaped, and told Abram the Hebrew, who dwelt by the oak of Mature, which belonged to the Amorite, brother of Aner and brother of Eshcol, who were allies of Abram. |
|
14 And when Abram heard that his nephew had been taken captive, he armed his young men, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued the raiders as far as Dan. |
|
15 And he divided his forces against them by night, he and his servants, and defeated them, and pursued them as far as Hobah, which is on the left hand of Damascus. |
|
16 And he brought back all the goods, and also brought back Lot, his nephew, and his goods, and the women also, and the people. |
|
17 And the king of Sodom went out to greet him, after his return from the destruction of the forces of Cardlaamar, and the kings who were with him, at the valley of Shaveh, that is, the king's valley. |
|
18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of the Most High God. |
|
19 And he blessed him, saying, Blessed be Abram to God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth; |
|
20 And blessed be the Most High God, who has delivered your enemies into your hands. And Abram gave him tithes of everything. |
|
21 And the king of Sodom said to Abram, Give me the people, and take the goods for yourself. |
|
22 And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lifted up my hands to the God Most High, the possessor of heaven and earth, |
|
23 That I will not take of anything that belongs to you, from a thread to a shoestring, lest you should say, I have made Abram rich; |
|
24 Save that which the young men have eaten and the portions of the men who went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portions. |

|
1 示拿王暗喇非、以拉撒王亞畧，以攔王基大老馬，列邦王提達 |
1 AND it came to pass in the days of Amarphel king of Sinar, Arioch king of Dalasar, Cardlaamar king of Elam, and Tarael king of Gelites |
|
2 與所多馬王庇喇，蛾摩拉王庇沙，押馬王示納，西編王示米別及庇拉卽瑣耳王戰。 |
2 That these made war with Bera king of Sodom, Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, Shemer king of Zeboim, and the king of Bela, that is, Zoar. |
|
3 所多馬五王，咸會於西亭谷，後之鹽海卽其地也， |
3 All of these joined together in the valley of Siddim, which is the Salt Sea. |
|
4 蓋此五王，事基大老馬。歷十有二年，至十三年叛。 |
4 Twelve years they served Cardlaamar, and in the thirteenth year they rebelled. |
|
5 十四年基大老馬與同盟諸王，來擊亞提律加寧之哩乏音人，哈麥之蘇西人，沙微基烈亭之以米人， |

9 戰以攔王基大老馬列邦王提達，示拿王暗喇非，以拉撒王亞畧，四王敵五王。 |
9 With Cardlaamar, the king of Elam, Tarael the king of Gelites, Amarphel king of Sinar, and Arioch king of Dalasar; four kings against five. |
|
10 西亭谷多石油坑，所多馬王，蛾摩拉王奔而陷坑，其餘遁於山， |
10 And the valley of Siddim was full of bitumen pits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there; and those who survived fled to the mountain. |
|
11 敵奪所多馬蛾摩拉人輜重糗糧而去， |
11 And the raiders took all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all their provisions, and went their way. |

12 亞伯蘭姪羅得居所多馬，故人與物皆被虜。 |

16 And he brought back all the goods, and also brought back Lot, his nephew, and his goods, and the women also, and the people. |

17 And the king of Sodom went out to greet him, after his return from the destruction of the forces of Cardlaamar, and the kings who were with him, at the valley of Shaveh, that is, the king's valley. |
|

18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of the Most High God. |
|
19 祝之曰：願天地之主，至高上帝錫嘏於亞伯蘭， |
19 And he blessed him, saying, Blessed be Abram to God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth; |
|
20 至高上帝使爾制敵，當頌美之，亞伯蘭以所獲者，什一奉麥基洗德， |
20 And blessed be the Most High God, who has delivered your enemies into your hands. And Abram gave him tithes of everything. |
|
21 所多馬王謂亞伯蘭曰：以人歸我，物任爾取。 |
21 And the king of Sodom said to Abram, Give me the people, and take the goods for yourself. |
|
22 亞伯蘭曰：吾指至高之上帝，天地之主，耶和華而誓， |
22 And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lifted up my hands to the God Most High, the possessor of heaven and earth, |
|
23 不取爾一絲縷，一履帶，恐爾謂以富加諸我。 |
23 That I will not take of anything that belongs to you, from a thread to a shoestring, lest you should say, I have made Abram rich; |
|
24 惟少者所食，及同行之亞乃，以實各，慢哩，所應得者，可任意以取。 |
24 Save that which the young men have eaten and the portions of the men who went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portions. |
