Псалом 139

1 Дирижеру хора. Псалом Давида.

2 Избавь меня, Господи, от злого человека, сохрани меня от жестоких.

3 Они замышляют зло в сердце, постоянно готовы к войне.

4 Изощряют свой язык, как змея; у них на губах яд гадюки. Пауза

5 Сохрани меня, Господи, от рук нечестивых, огради от жестоких, желающих поколебать мои стопы.

6 Высокомерные спрятали силки для меня и петли, разложили сеть по дороге, расставили для меня западню. Пауза

7 Я сказал Господу: «Ты — мой Бог; услышь голос моих молений, Господи!

8 Владыка Господи, сила моего спасения, Ты прикрыл мою голову в день сражения.

9 Не дай, Господи, желаемого нечестивому, не дай успеха его злому замыслу, чтобы не возгордился». Пауза

10 Пусть головы окружающих меня покроет зло их собственных уст.

11 Пусть падут на них горящие угли; пусть будут они повержены в огонь, в глубокую пропасть, откуда не подняться им.

12 Пусть не утвердится на земле злоязычный человек; пусть зло преследует жестоких на погибель им.

13 Я знаю, что Господь даст правосудие бедным и заступится за нищих.

14 Поистине, праведные будут славить Твое имя; честные будут жить в Твоем присутствии.

Psalm 139

1 O LORD, thou hast searched me and known me.

2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thoughts from above.

3 Thou knowest my way and my paths, and art acquainted with all my ways.

4 For if there is deception in my tongue, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.

5 From the beginning to the end, thou knowest me, O LORD, for thou hast formed and laid thy hand upon me.

6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.

7 Whither shall I go from thy Spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?

8 If I ascend into heaven, thou art there; if I descend into Sheol, behold, thou art there also.

9 If I lift up my wings like those of an eagle, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,

10 Even there also shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.

11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall be as light upon me; even the night shall be light before my face.

12 The darkness shall not be dark to thee; but the night shines as the day; the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.

13 For thou hast made my heart; thou hast accepted me from my mother's womb.

14 I will praise thee, because of the wonders which thou hast done; marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knows right well.
